Sometimes Work Helps

---Alex's POV---

"Who does he think he is, talking to me like that?!" I growl, Kylie tries in vain to calm me down.

"Alex, I'm sure he didn't mean it, please calm down!"

"No! I'm pissed at that stupid cat!"

"Cake?"

"Oooooh!" I reach out for the slice of chocolate cake she holds in front of me. Suddenly, Kylie snatches it away.

"Hey!" I shout.

"Only if you calm down."

"Fine..." I huff like a pouting child, but my eyes light up when she puts the plate in front of me. I lick my lips and start eating the cake. God, Kylie made the best cake.

Kylie giggle at my actions, while she floated behind me giving me a messy side braid. I wasn't one for hair in my face. I give her a nod in thanks. I didn't show appreciation much, so me giving someone a nod, is like Y/n giving someone a hug. And she hates physical contact.

I hear a buzz come from my back pocket. I pull out my phone to see that I got a text from one of my frequent 'clients'.

C: New, target. Pay you 500.

bellow the text was a picture of a person I knew very well. I think Y/n goes to school with her actually. I should probably ask her.

Me: Ohhh, she looks like fun. And I'm not some charity this is gonna cost 1,000 for being an adolescent. Where and how?

C: Private, but I want her on display.

Me: 1,500.

C: Bitch.

Me: Aww, you know you love me.

With that I turned off my phone and told kylie we were leaving. I spread my powerful black wings and flew back to Y/n's. I needed her opinion on this, plus it could affect our plan to take down Mothy.

---Time skip to your house---

I flew through the window, gracefully (not) body slamming into the couch.

"ALEX GOD DAMMIT LEARN TO USE THE DOOR!!!" Y/n shouted at me.

"But that's boring~" I whine.

I smirk at her reaction to my antics.

"Listen though, this is important. C asked me to kill someone that is umm kinda important."

"So what?" I whisper in her ear who it is.

"That's great! Makes it easier to shut down the school."

"So that an ok?"

"Yep!" I smile then flew out of the window.

"ALEX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I hear her scream. Smirking, I flew down to the school.

"Kylie, give me claws!" I shout, whilst hovering over the school, nobody could see or here me so it was the perfect place to transform. I adjusted my jacket then hopped of the building, landing in front of my unsuspecting victim. She yelped in surprise at my sudden action and my appearance.

"Y-your Eagle Wolf!" Ouch. I clutched my chest, feigning pain,

"I am truly hurt by your words! I am definitely not Eagle Wolf! I am her, should we say, good twin." I lie.

"Oh." She calms down, damn people are stupid.

"Anyways, I kinda need your help with something, follow me please." I say cheerfully.

"Umm, ok." She hesitantly walked after me as I walked into the storage closet. I made sure to keep my hand of my katana.

I led her to the storage closet inside the school, making sure to keep myself out of sight from the other students. Pulling her into the closet, I stand in front of the door and lock it.

"Don't scream, and it wont hurt." I state bluntly. A look of horror crosses her face as I pull out my katana and slit her throat.

"You helped a lot today. Now we are one step closer to killing Hawkmoth." Those were the last words she would here. I look of relief crossed her face, knowing she didn't die for nothing. I waited with her corpse until it was dark and everyone left the school. There were police crawling around the place looking for the missing Adrian Agreste.

Quickly and quietly and slipped past them and began the hard part. Grabbing a scarf I tied it around her neck, hiding the cut and blood. I then broke her arm and lay it limp beside her. I sat her in her desk, to make it look like she fell asleep.

"Thanks, for the help kid." Man was I glad no one heard that aside from Kylie.

I detransformed and we flew home, to await the morning when her death would be all over the news.
