17: Familiar Faces

There was a sound of leaves cracking and falling from trees. A smell of fresh warm air. The sight of bold green grass now covered with the fallen leaves which now made it a lovely dark orange mixed with a brownish yellow and deep faded red .

It was now Monday, October 1st which is the start of a new month. To me it meant a new beginning for something in my life. A sign crossed my mind that was definitely telling me that something was coming my way, what I didn't know was if it was good or not.

I woke up and put on a simple outfit which was a white fluffy long sleeve button up shirt and some lightly faded black jeans that were slightly loose but still hugged my curves. I tied my hair in a high ponytail but left two pieces of my hair in the front out. I put on my name necklace and mini hoops to match it. Thank Godric for the locker rooms, I left my quidditch gear and uniform in there so I wouldn't have to hold that shit all day.

I left my dorm and went down to the common room to see Cedric on the coach, he looked upset about something and who would I be to not as if he was alright. "GoodMorning Diggory, Is everything alright?. He proceeded to look up at me and now face to face... I could tell something was totally off."It's Amelia, she's coming back today from the trip." He said while looking back down at the fire. "Oh my Godric- I totally forgot! Aren't you happy to see her again?" I asked while sitting next to him. "We ended on bad terms, remember?.

My head was so set on Fred, he was in mind pushing out everything else. Cedric and Amelia went out for a year and they were the cutest couple... until they had a pretty bad break up. Ced had met Cho during our 6th year and they had became very close. During the summer, he would send letters to Cho as she did with him and it was nonstop. He didn't send any to Amelia, or even checked up on her at all. When Amelia found out about him and Cho, she told me her instincts were saying that they seemed to be more than friends.

"I'm sorry Ced, my head was full of ...thoughts. I must've forgot the whole situation. Let's get Breakfast, I know breakfast cheers you up."

When school started, Ro had told me that a few students were chosen during the summer to go on this sort of adventure, she called a "field trip". The trip the students were on was something that involved with enchanted charms that not everyone learns at hogwarts, it was unfair in my opinion. They would all be back on October 1st, which was today.

——————-As we got into the Great hall, it looked more packed than usual. Only about twenty students had went on the trip, five students from each house.

I didn't see Ro at the hufflepuff table so I had assumed she was at her own house table, Ravenclaw. I had walked down the middle of the hall which was in between the two house tables. I moved forward more and more then stopped once I seen Rosetta sitting, but not alone. Sitting on Ro's left was Amelia, looking beautiful as always. Across from her was Grey and to his right sat a very handsome toned golden boy. His eyes were dark, lips were a bold pink while his face was slim and very well defined but slightly hidden by the brown curls that came down his head. I was staring and taking in all his features, not realizing he was staring at me as well.

"Hey, I don't reckon we've met before, I'm Lorenzo. Just came back from the trip as well" the boy said, holding out his hand. "I'm Emerald, ...although you look oddly familiar-" I replied, while shaking his hand."Ehem... Em! I've missed you!!" Amelia coughed, grabbing the attention of both of us. I moved my hand away from Lorenzo and Amelia stood up to give me hug. Aside from Ro, Amelia was one of my best friends as well. They were what I considered my balance. Amelia is someone i share my softness with and could talk to, while Ro did the same but she also brings out the fun which I loved. "I'm so glad you're back Lia! We have so much to catch up on." I said while taking a seat next to her.

We had caught up on a lot during breakfast, she told me about her summer and how her family traveled around before coming back to Hogwarts. I only mentioned how my summer consisted of me working on myself since it wasn't nearly as great as hers. Me and Amelia had got up after a few minutes when I noticed Amelia locking her contact on someone.

"Gorgeous isn't she" I whispered in her ear."Oh I - I was just ...admiring her - hair." Amelia struggled to say. She totally had eyes for Pansy, and I wasn't going to force her to tell me because if she wanted to tell me, she would. Buuuuut...maybe I could secretly get them together once I gather more information.

"So, anything exciting in the famous Snow's love life?" Amelia asked with a big smile as we finally reached outside the hall. I blushed at the question she asked, thinking about Fred. I dropped my head to hide my face and also my fat smile.

I had looked back up once my red warm cheeks faded away, I opened my mouth getting ready to tell her when suddenly I spotted a tall Ginger hugging a Gryffindor girl. It was Fred getting comfortable with a girl I've seen before but didn't put my finger on it. She had full luscious rosy lips, beautiful curls streaming down her upper body, her skin tone was a beautiful honey and caramel. She was absolutely gorgeous.

Amelia must've seen me observe what was ahead of me as she said, "Em?. Ugh is he still A foul evil little Git?". Oh boy the story I had to tell her. I couldn't really pay attention to what she was saying as I glared upon Fred and the girl. They seemed to be really close.

"Um, how about I tell you about my 'famous love life' after dinner in my dorm. Ro's coming too, and don't worry about bringing anything okay.""Oh I'm chuffed! See you then Snow".

We had took an Assessment in Potions so I didn't get to talk to Fred but I turned around at one point to see him. As I slowly turned trying not to grab attention to myself, he was already staring at me. I had blew him a kiss and winked at him.

He had caught the air kiss, kissed it, and then patted it on his pants where his private part would be. I scoffed back at his actions and he returned a wink.

The day went by faster than expected, classes were done but now all I had to do was get through quidditch. Then I'd be having a "slumber party" with Amelia and Rosetta, I haven't got time to really have a deep talk with them In a while and I needed it.

I had got to the locker room and began to lift the hem of my shirt up but stopped when I heard a creak across the room."Hello?" I had chills appear on my body due to fear.

Suddenly, I felt hands grab my waist from the back and the figure hugged me. "Mhmmm hello darling" Fred said."Freddie - you scared the fuck out of me" I said but he ignored.

He began laying kisses on my neck while still behind me, pulling me tightly close to him. I let out soft moans as his lips touched all on my neck and as his hands moved up and down my waist to my breast.

"What was that about fucking something out of you?" He smirked. I bit my lip and rolled my eyes back due to his sloppy kisses and sucking on my neck.

"Freddie I - I ..have practice... we can continue this later"I said while turning around and facing him, still close to him. "Well Snow, I can't wait to taste you later" he whispered in my ear. I was about to say fuck quidditch so I could fuck Fred instead but we had a big game coming up soon against Slytherin. I wanted to ask Fred about the girl from earlier but maybe she was just friend, they seemed close in a brother sister way - I hope.

Practice was easier today thank Godric. Me, Amelia and Malcom Preece are chasers, we practiced together where Malcom and I showed Lia more plays we learned. Cedric was doing seeker drills where he just looks and finds the snitch. Our beaters, Anthony Rickett and Michael McManus hit the bludger back and forth to each other mostly. Grey is Keeper and a good one at that, he is also Captain. We played a little match before finishing up earlier than usual. Grey let us out early due to some "business" he had to take care of.

After practice, Amelia and I walked back to our House and chuckled along the way while sharing memories. Cedric was walking behind us, which was awkward.

Once we got in the common room, Cedric asked to talk to Amelia and she nodded. I told her I was going to take a shower and set my room up and that she can swing by any time.

I finally reached my dorm and let all my stress out by taking a nice hot shower. I didn't mention it earlier but Something in my mind wasn't clicking with that girl Fred was with earlier. I pushed the thoughts away and finished up.
