"Hey woah woah calm down, what's wrong?"

I heard my mom call to me while I ran through the front door and ran upstairs. Once I was upstairs, I collapsed on my bed.

"Honey, what's wrong?" I looked up and saw that my mom was at my door.

I quickly sat up and motioned her to sit on my bed.

"Well," I started, "I was at Starbucks, and Shannon was behind me."

"Oh wow, that's great! I didn't know she was visiting. You should invite her ove-"

"No, mom." I quickly cut her off. "Kyle was behind her."

"Ah. I see. I never knew what happened between the two of you, but, it's your business, and I don't want to intervene."

"Okay, thank you. Anyway, I freaked out, and ended up running out of Starbucks and straight here."

"Wait, were's your coffee?"

"Uh, well, I kinda left it there."

"And you paid?"

"Yes."

"Cmon girl, starbies is expensive!"

"Omg mom, never say "starbies" ever again."

"Sorry, sorry." My mom quickly started getting up from my bed.

"Well, dinner will be ready in 5. Nice chat." She told me before disappearing downstairs.

I sighed loudly and then fell back on my bed.

Ring! Ring!

I heard my phone ring and took it out of my back pocket. I saw that I had a call from a number that i didn't recognize. I answered on the 5th ring.

Hello? I asked the person with the unknown number.

Hello, I-Imogen. The person mumbled.
