Who's that?

Although Kyle didn't talk to me in that class, something happened in Drama.

"Okay everybody, find your seats!" The drama teacher, Mrs. Jensen, yells at the top of her lungs. We all hurry and sit in our spots.

"Today, you will be getting assigned a partner for a project. I will give you and your partner a scene from the play "Splendor in the grass" to act out on stage next week." She proceeded to tell us. Then, she went along and named the partners.

"Amy and Jason"

"Sarah and Harvey"

"Jessica and Shannon"

"Stephen and Mary"

"Mason and Bella"

"And finally, Imogen and Kyle"

"Who's that?" Kyle asks, a little too loudly for my liking. Mrs. Jensen points her index finger towards me. Kyle turns around and says "oh, hey." And then turns back around.

If that's not being invisible, I don't know what is. I thought to myself.

"When I call your name, you and your partner come up to my desk and I'll give you your scene and scripts. Now, go talk to your partners." Mrs. Jensen says.

Kyle gets up from his seat and grabs the chair in front of mine and flips it around to where he's facing me, then he sits.

"Oh I remember you! I have you for uh, English, right?" Kyle asks.

"Um, well, it's actually history.." I reply.

"Oh um, right! I remembered because of the Pie-"

"Imogen and Kyle!" The teacher yells, signaling for us to go with her to get our scene. So we get up from our chairs, and walk over to her desk.

"Okay, hey guys." She begins. "The both of you actually make a cute couple together, so I'm going to give you the kissing scene." She says, and I blush slightly at her comment. I look over at Kyle, but he seemed unaffected by her comment. "Imogen will be playing Deanie, and Kyle will be playing the role of Bud. Y'all's scene includes a kiss or maybe even two." She says as she hands us the scripts. "Now go practice, you have a week."

Kyle and I walk back to our seats. I guess the fact that I'm going to have to kiss him filled me with confidence, because this unexpectedly came out if my mouth:

"Um, Kyle?" I say. He turns around to look at me, giving me his undivided attention. "I guess if I don't tell you this now, I, uh, I guess I'm I, I'm actually a really big fan of yours and-" Kyle unexpectedly cuts me off.

"You are? That amazing! I didn't think I had fans in Ohio." He says.

"Well, I just moved here from Texas. Everybody loves you over there." I reply back with a smile.

"Really? That's, wow! I can't wait to go visit! But, you're seriously a fan? Of, me?" He asks, kinda like if he didn't believe me.

"Yes!" I assured him. "Like the biggest! I've been subscribed to your channel since like, 2011 and have been watching your videos ever since then." I shyly add.

"That's amazing. Thank you so much for your support, it really means a lot to me." He says while looking into my eyes.

Darn, I think I'm in love with this boy.
