Chapter 41

Will asked the cashier to put it in a bag that didnt have the logo on it, for the sake of a surprise, the man nodding as he grabs a brown paper bag and places the cuffs in it, then handing it to the brunette.

"Thank you.  Merry Christmas!"  Will says with a little tail wag before he heads out and dashes out shuddering a little as if that would shake off the smell of perfume.

He pulls out his phone surprised he missed Mike's text:

Mike: I'm waiting at the table we rested at earlier, take your time cutie ;)

Will blushes at the text before he walks off to the meet Mike.

When he arrives seeing the ravenette waiting patiently, then looking up at Will, the vampire gets up and hugs the werewolf, Will taking in Mike's scent and a strong smell of perfume..

He concludes it from his fur since the smell still lingered on him.

"Ready to go home?"  Mike asks as he holds Wills face with one hand on the younger boy's cheek, rubbing his thumb softly.

Will leans into the touch and nods as Mike grabs his bag, both walking back hand in hand.

Before they reached the entrance, the girl who helped Mike at the art store rushed to them, coughing slightly as she stops infront of them.

"I'm sorry. I just- are you Will and Mike.?"  She asks as she tries to control her breathing, as she holds her hands on her knees.

They nod hesitantly as her eyes light up.  "I have deep gratitude for what you've done.  The Institute, my brother-"  she chokes out as tears start to swell in her eyes, Will patting her shoulder.

"You saved him, I could never ever be more grateful, thank you!"  She says as she looks more relieved than when she first waited for their answer.

"You're most welcome, I'm glad we helped someone important to you."  Will says with a soft smile giving the girl a hug, the girl wagging her tail happily as she hugs back thankfully.

"Have a merry, merry, merry, merry Christmas."  She says before she runs off, her wheezing still heard as her sneakers squeak across the floor.

Mike chuckles as they watch her head east, and they start heading out the door.

"I'm happy we got everyone out of there.."  Will says as they reach the car, the sun no longer in sight as they get in.

Mike turns the ignition on and looks at Will, leaning a little and giving the brunette a knowing look, Will leaning in and kissing Mike, slow, passionate and meaningful as they close their eyes and allow their tongues to intertwine.

When they finish, Will takes in a gulp of breath as Mike smiles softly.  "It was worth it, everyone deserves freedom."  He says as he backs the car out of the parking lot and drives them back home.

Christmas was tomorrow and Will and Mike were outside, hanging the lights up around the house. 

Will is on his tippy toes as he places the lights over a nail, almost losing his balance on the ladder.

"Even with the ladder you're still small"

"Shut up, I'd like to see you work your ass off like this."  Will huffs but instantly regrets as he looks down seeing Mike's smirk.

"Oh I work my ass off alright,  I make sure that body of yours squirms and that mouth of yours-"

"Alright!  Alright!  Sshhhh the whole neighborhood doesnt need to know what we do in bed."  The werewolf hisses as Mike laughs holding the latter as Will gets down.

Will looks at the lights with a satisfied expression, content with his work.

As Mike puts the ladder in the shed beside the house, Will smirks grabbing some snow and packs it into a ball, tossing it towards Mike.

The white fluffy snow hits the top of Mike's head as he walks out of the shed, the snow falling off his head and black curls.

The ravenette looks at Will with a playful look as Will laughs at Mike, but stops as he sees the older boy walking towards him with a snowball of his own.

Will gasps as he dashes to get refuge in the house but immediately feels himself sit in the snow shuddering as his cheeks tinted red, turning his head to see Mike with his poppy red eyes, tossing the snowball up and down from his hand to the sky.

"Not fair, stop that!"  Will says with a whimper as he tries to get up, but stops himself knowing full well that Mike was controlling him to.

"Well that was rude of you to throw a snowball at me while I was putting the ladder away."  Mike says with a smirk, he aims the snow ball at Wills head, but is stopped as the front door opens, revealing Joyce looking at the scene.

Mike's eyes instantly turning back to a normal colour as Will then darts for the door, but Joyce stops him and tuts.

"Uh-uh, I was just about to come outside and say I've made hot chocolate... but what the heck is going on here?"  Joyce asks with a smile as Mike chuckles, Will smiling as his tail twitches, his eyes begging for his mother to let him through.

"Well you see... Will here thought itd be funny to throw a snowball at me while I put the ladder away."  Mike says playfully as he points his finger towards the evidence on his head, snow still falling off.

Joyce raises an eyebrow.  "I didnt raise my children to be rude."  She says with a chuckle as Will tilts his ears down, afraid that he actually failed his mom but realized it was just a joke, trying to calm down his anxiety as he chuckles taking the risk to move past his mother, but she didnt allow it.

She quickly rushed into the house and closed the door locking it.

"I'm sorry Will but if you snow balled him, he deserves to do it back!"  She says through the window as Mike smirks and walks up to the corners boy.

Will gives Mike and awkward  smile as the vampire is a few steps infront of him.

"M-Mike let's talk this out."  Will says raising his hands as Mike's smirks stays where it is and shakes his head no.

The ravenette allows his eyes turn red, even though he didnt control will he could see how easily the werewolf submitted to his gaze.

Will let's out a hot breath as he presses himself against the door, Mike grabs Wills chin, the boy letting out a shuddering breath as Mike runs his thumb on the brunette's chin.

"You look so hot."  Mike says softly as Will playfully scowls.

"Nows not the time to say that!"  The werewolf says with a blush as Mike leans in and kisses him.

Will instantly kisses back, feeling hot all over as Mike moves his right hand down to Wills back, making the younger boy arch it.

Before the kiss gets more passionate, Will feels a painful chill down his back, as he gasps pushing Mike away, realizing the ravenette snuck the snowball into Wills coat.

"Mike!"  Will scowls as he try's to reach for the snow behind his neck into his coat, but fails as he feels it dripping down his back.

After Will changed into some new Christmas themed clothes, they sat down in the living room, Joyce bringing their hot chocolates.

"Will did you learn your lesson?"  Joyce asks as Will nods his head frantically, as she passes the mugs to them.

"Thank you ms.Byers"  mike says softly as he wraps an arm around Will who smiles at his mom.

"Yeah thank you mom!"  Will says more enthusiastically before taking a sip from the warm chocolate drink.

As they sip on their sweet drink, Joyce comes in with her own hot choclate and Jonathan comes in with a camera, recording everyone.

"Say hello!"  He says as Joyce and wills ears perk up at Jonathan's direction.  Everyone smiling and waving as he takes the clip, before turning it off and sitting down on another chair.

For Will, this Christmas eve couldn't have been more perfect,  sitting in hi own home with his family and with his loved one Mike, butterflies in his stomach arise as he thinks about what they.could be doing tonight, especially since he wanted to show Mike the gift he got at that shop.

His breath hitches at the thought of Mike wearing them, concerning the vampire from the sound.

"Are you alright?"  He asks softly as Joyce turns on the T.V and puts it on the hallmark channel, a cringey christmas love story playing, obviously with it's even more cringey upbeat continuous music that sounded like itd be played on an elevator.

He nods feeling the heat rise in his cheeks, making Mike chuckle and kiss Will on the forehead.

They all watch the movie as Will snuggles closer to his boyfriend, Mike happily squeezing his arm around Will.

Both felt excited for what was going to happen tonight, the excitement almost felt in the air between them.

Christmasssss, well, christmas eve.  Not gonna lie but-
