Chapter 26

As they walk down the dirty Alleyway, quickly, Steve takes off his jacket and gives it to Will, the werewolf thanking him before putting it on as they turn to another dark area.

After the twists and turns through the buildings they hear shouting.  "Run!"  Robin says quickly as everyone follows her,  Will is quick and agile like Robin, but Mike and Steve were having a little difficulty keeping up.

Soon they reach a door and Robin frantically knocks out a rhythm which the door immediately opens revealing a tall brown haired werewolf.

"Did you guys find them-?" 

"Not now Kieth let us inside!"  Steve says looking both ways in the Alleyway before shoving the boys and Robin inside.

Once Steve closes the door Robin turns on a light to reveal a little room with three sleeping bags and a few lanterns and decor.

"Welcome...  to the back of a store that no one wanted to purchase because people still believe it was infested with rats."  Robin says in a sarcastic tone.

"Dont worry we got rid of them ourselves and cleaned up the place."  Steve adds gesturing to the pretty decent looking room.

"How did you know to help us?"  Mike asks as Will rests his head on Mike's side, the ravenette placing an arm around him.

"Luckily Steve was watching for 'rebels' usually hes looking at other things." Keith groans Steve opening and closing his mouth about to say something to argue each time but just closes it and nods.

"Yeah, I saw you guys, and I asked Robin to come up and check since I wasnt sure if it was Will."  Steve explains as Robin wags her tail happily.

"I couldn't believe it when I saw you again, I thought you were gone like- for good."  She explains Will smiling.

"Well I'm here now."  Will says with a chuckle.

All three of the older adults look over at Mike making the vampire freeze and look concerned.

"Dont worry guys.  This is Mike, he's my boyfriend."  Will explains as Steve mumbles: b.s, and Keith scoffing.

"Sure, like he didnt tell you to say that-"

"He didnt."  Will cuts off Keith with frustration.

"We just dressed up like this so that we would blend in with the rest of what Hawkins is like, it worked at the start, but Mike lost his character when we saw....Lonnie."  The werewolf explains as he grabs Mike's hand getting a reassured squeeze from Mike.

"Well that was a good idea.."  Robin praises as she walks off to a small fridge and pulls out a package of bacon and a carton of eggs.

"After all that you guys must be hungry." Robin says as Steve walks over to Robin and helps her cook the bacon while she does the eggs.

Will walks over to Robin, leaving Mike to explore the place for himself as Kieth watches him as if one wrong move and he'll tackle the ravenette.

"We left our car in the street and we have things in there that we may need in case of an emergency."  Will explains as Robin turns to Keith who is staring at Mike, Mike glaring back at the tall Werewolf.

"Kieth can you go to the street that is connected to Will's street?  They left their car their and need their stuff."  Robin says bluntly as she cracks 2 more eggs, the smell enticing Will as he sniffs the air.

Kieth looks at Robin with disbelief.  "I'm busy keeping this guy in check-"

"Will trusts him, I trust him."  Robin interupts not looking away from the pan, making Will bite his lip to hide his smile.

The tall boy groans, "I'll need the car keys then  and what does the vehicle look like?"  He sighs as Mike hands him the keys.

"Its black small car."  Will says softly as he walks over back to Mike, the ravenette kissing Will on his head making the brunette wag his tail happily.

As Kieth walks out of their secret base, Will and Mike walk over and open the cabinets finding plates and silverware to place on the small table on the ground.

As the place the items on the table, Steve comes by with the bacon placing a couple on each plate  Robin coming with the eggs.

Will opens the fridge finding Milk and places it on the table.

"Pretty decent."  Robin says as they all sit on the ground.

"Will Keith be alright out there?" Will asks as he starts cutting into his egg.

Robin and Steve look at eachother and laugh.  "He may not look the part but-"  she says interrupted by her own laugh again.

"He's an Alpha Wolf."  She explains as Steve tries to contain his chuckles.

"People will try to pick on him but if they get on his mean side oh boy.. they are done for.  That why our human here and I stick with him."  She says as she points fork at Steve,labeling him the human.

"Yeah I have no chance out there, they see me and I'm toast."  He says between bites of his bacon.

"Yep and they are no longer fond of betas so I'm an outcast like Stevie boy here."  Robin says as Steve punches her shoulder.

"Dont call me that."  He says making them both chuckle.

Will smiles as he sees the two being playful and goofy,  but then frowns at the thought of his mom and Jonathan.

"What is this institute that my mom and Jonathan are in."  He says making both older adults freeze at what they are doing, they pause and look at eachother and composed themselves.

"You're closer to him I'll let you tell him."  Steve say softly before starting to eat again.

Robin's ears timt down as she looks at Will giving him a pitiful look.

"The institute that you've probably heard of.. where they take werewolves who are Alphas and Betas who are against the blood market."  She says her breath getting a little shaky as her eyes start to look watery.

"Apparently they do tests and experiments on their DNA to make them Omegas..  every single one of them so that they'll listen to vampires."  She says quietly as she tries to keep her tears in.

"Jonathan and your Mom arent the o ly people they took... they took my girlfriend too, Celia." She chokes at as a tear roles down her face.

She wipes it with her sleeve and looks at the ground trying to control her breath.

Steve Pat's her back softly as Will and Mike watch them.

'They really are gone... they are being experimented on...."  Will thinks starting to feel his eyes sting of tears.

"Let's find them then."  Mike proposes but Robin shakes her head.

"We arent strong enough!  One Alpha, a human, Omega, Beta and Vampire?  What could we do to get into some, probably government building and be fine!?"  She asks almost hysterically before calming herself down.

"I'm sorry..  I thought the same thing but I dont know what to do." She says in a high pitched whisper.

Will sits there looking at his plate unsure what to think.  Maybe Robin was right..  maybe they cant find them.

But some other thought lingered in his head,  a thought of strength and courage, almost unnaturally so.

"I... I think we can.."  Will says quietly breaking the silence.

"If we prepare for the worst and for what could happen.  And maybe find someone we can trust on the inside."  Will explains as everyone looks at him with hopeful eyes.

"I definitely think it's worth a shot to save who we can."  He says looking up with more confidence, but it falters as he sees everyone staring at him, making him blush and tilt his ears down.

Mike raises his hand. "I'm in if Wills in."  He says as everyone looks at his hand, Will raising his as well.

Tobin looks down chuckling in disbelief as she raises her hand, Steve shrugging and raising his.

"You all owe me a ton of food if we get out of there alive."  He says pointing his finger at them all making them laugh.

Just then Jieth opens the door and places Will and Mike's backpacks on the ground and chucks the keys to Mike who catches them in his raised hand.

Kieth pauses as he looks at them all with their raised and and raises and eyebrow.

"What is going on here?"  He asks feeling questionable about the situation.

Robin chuckles and looks at him wide eyed.  "Um let's see, I think we just all dug ourselves our own graves, but that's okay"

Now they know the truth, Will they save Will's mom and Jonathan and Robin's Girlfriend? Gotta wait and see.

I made Celia up so (I take credit??? Lmao)
