Log 10: Brooklynn

A few days later...

(On Camera...)

Brooklynn: Hello, world, it's Brooklynn again. Well, things are...getting interesting here at Camp Cretaceous. After an argument with Kenji, Darius sleeps at Camp B where he and Sammy tend the garden together. Ben has been quite adamant about cleaning the Omega bunk, too. We think something's up that the Omegas aren't telling us. Kenji...seems kind of lost without Darius telling him not to do things. Yaz doesn't like being so out of touch with Sammy and honestly, same with Ben, guys. 

Yaz: Incoming, by the way. Ben's back.

(Ben enters the camera range two minutes later, silently.)

Brooklynn: Where have you been?

Ben: (matter-of-factly) With Sammy and Darius. 

Kenji: Anything from Dino-Nerd, yet?

Ben: (sighs) He knows that you won't stop bugging us and he feels bad enough as it is...

Yaz: What do you mean?

Ben: (deep breath) Darius is in heat. He thought it best if he didn't trouble anyone, unfortunately not realizing that heat dehabilitizes him and he has to rely on us anyways.

Kenji: (entire head flushes) Oh fuck...(facepalms) ugh!!!!

Yaz: (shrugs when Brooklynn looks at her) 

Brooklynn: Kenji, it'll be just fine.

Kenji: How? How will this be fine, Brooklynn?

Brooklynn: Look, if Ben is telling us this, then Darius' heat is probably nearly finished. He'll be fine.
