Chapter 48

Sam's POV

I'm sitting down on a seat in auditorium and waiting for Burt while everyone is busy with helping Brittany and Santana's wedding party. Today I'm gonna tell Burt my plan and I hope that he will say yes and help me out with this thing.

"Do you want to see me, Evans?" Burt walks in and sit down on the edge of the stage. "What's happen?"

"What do you think?" I ask Burt and give the ring box to him.

Burt open that ring box and looking at that ring. "This is beautiful." Burt nodded. "But I dont understand, who are you going to give this ring?"

"Your daughter obviously." I simply said.

"Are you telling me that you're gonna propose her?" Burt asks me.

"Yes. And I want to ask your permission for that." I nodded.

"Are you crazy or you nuts? Why everyone is so obsessed with teen marriage?" Burt frowns at me.

"We are twenty. We graduate from high school about two years ago. And you said that we are making our own adult choice right? And I'm making mine now. Asking your permission for that." I said to him.

"Living with her isnt enough?" Burt asks me.

"No. I love her. I really do. And it's not about living together." I said to Burt.

"Now you know that. Marriage is not about you both living together. It's about commitment. I'm asking you, are you ready for that?" Burt asks me.

"I'm ready for that. I'm a good guy. It's been two years, we can make it through. For how long I need to prove her all of this? It will be never enough. I do love her. I want to take your part of taking her care. I promise you, I wont let any tears fall down from her eyes. She is the only one person who knows me even better than myself. We dont need to say a word but we already know what we feel."

"Do you already talk to your parents about this?" Burt raises his eyebrows at me.

"Yes." I nodded.

"And what they said?"

"They totally support me. They said that they will support me to do anything that I'm thinking the good things and this is a good thing to do. We dont need any kind of expensive wedding. I just want to make it official." I said to Burt.

"This is not a good thing." Burt simply said. I raise my eyebrows at him then let my head down. "This is the best thing."

I turn my face at him and built a smile on my face. "You really think so?"

"You showed me that you're a man now. Just go ahead. I have no rights to stop you for that because I know you'll do that. Her mom and I got married when we both 22 and then nine months later Kurt came, then two years later, she born. If you are sure. You can get through that and everything will work out." Burt smiles at me.

"So-so you let me?" I grin at him.

"If gay couple can make it. Why can straight couple make it? It will be so much easier for both of you." Burt says to me.

"Thank you. Thank you so much!" I smile at him.

"Alright, I have to go before she found out that I'm here. Keep that and I got to be honest that ring is beautiful." Burt give that ring box back to me and walk away from the auditorium.

I hold that ring box and built a smile on my face. I really cant wait to put this ring into Kate's ring and make her into mine closer.

"Sam, what are you doing here? I though we are planning to recruit some glee club member in football team." Kate suddenly walks in.

I put the ring box inside my pocket quickly and turn my face at her. "I was wondering something." I said to her.

"Come on. We better go." Kate says to me.

I stand up from my seat and walks to the stage with her. I take her hand and walk lead her to go out from the auditorium. I just want to hold this hand forever in my life and never let anyone else own her except me. That's it.

Kate's POV

I'm standing in front of the closet and look around. This is such a stupid things that I could do. I make my phone fall to the toilet bowl and now I dont have any guts to take that.

"Kate, are you there?" Sam's voice.

I turn my face and walk out from the closet and take his hand. "Glad you came. Over there." I said to him and point to closet.

"Are you seriously want to have sex with me there?" Sam asks innocently.

"No. But my phone." I said to him.

Sam frowns at me then turn his face to the closet and walk closer to the closet and turn his face to the toilet bowl.

"Take that for me." I grin at him.

"Eww no." Sam shakes his head.

"Sam, please. I will lose all my digital design." I begged at him. "You said that you wanna do anything for me." I smirk at him.

"Yes but not take your phone from that toilet bowl." San simply said.

"Pleaseeee? I love you so much." I smirk at him.

"At this time you said you love me." Sam rolls his eyes.

"You're my future husband right? Do that for me." I grin at him.

"Fine." Sam sighs and kneel down in front of the closet and put his hand to that closet.

I just cover my mouth with my hand until Sam take my phone from that closet and shows me my wet cellphone.

"This is yours." Sam want to give that phone to me.

"Eww no. It's full with germs. Put that away from me." I said to him.

"Okay I will put it back to the closet." Sam simply said.

"No, no, no, no." I shake my head.

"Then wipe it with tissue, baby." Sam rolls his eyes.

"Since when you call me 'baby' like that?" I frown at him.

"Give me that tissue paper or I will put your phone back to the closet and I wont take that again." Sam simply said.

"Ugh I hate you." I roll my eyes and take tissue paper and give it to him.

Sam wipes my phone with tissue paper then washes his hand on the wastavel. And checking out my phone. "It's not working." Sam says to me.

"Oh God no! My back up data is there!" I groan.

"I will fix it for you. I will bring it to the apple center." Sam simply said.

"Really? Oh my God, you are really the best. I love you so much." I hug him from behind.

"Next time dont be stupid." Sam rubs my hair and walk out from girls toilet.

"I got it." I nodded and hold his hand as we walk in the hallways together. "How could you find me there by the way?" I ask him.

"I was looking for you." Sam simply said.

We both keep walking in the hallways and holding our hands. I turn my face at him and I dont know why I feel like Sam really showed me that he want to do anything for me and loves me unconditionally.

I know it's almost two years we're together and he never make me cry or lie to me. It feels like he is my one true love but still I'm still love him and I will always love him even though I'm not ready for any kind of relationship.

Sam and I still walking in the hallways then we turn our way to a classroom where the others there and Quinn holds a basket of muffin to bribe them.

"Attention!" Puck says as we are walk in following him. "At ease, teabaggers. I'm Airman First Class Noah Puckerman. But you can call me sir." Puck says to them.

"When we went to McKinley, we were part of conservative clubs as well, such as the Celibacy Club and the God Squad." Quinn says to them.

"Most of you guys are Christians, right?" Mercedes asks them.

"We're all Christian." A girl answered.

"Before I joined Glee Club, I only hung out with people that were exactly like me." Quinn says to them.

"She was a bitch who slushee all of us." I added.

"And then Puck got her pregnant, and she sort of changed for the better." Tina says to them.

"The point is, nerds You need to take the three-cornered hats out of your loser butts and join the New Directions! They'll take anybody. Even you." Puck says to them.

"Sir, I was brought up to respect my elders. But don't call us losers. The Tea Party Patriots is McKinley's most popular club." A girl says to us.

"Oh, my God, that's horrible. What is happening to America?!" Tina yelled.

"I'll tell you what's happened. We've grown up in the biggest economic depression since the 1930s. Our mission is to fix the mess that Barack Hussein Obama created before he and the homo-elite turn this country into a Muslim welfare state." A guy answer.

"Oh, no. Oh, hell to the no. You know what? Don't you, you or you join the glee club. Cause, you know, we don't need you ignorant, backwards, lily-white, gay-hating, Obama-bashing clubbers anyway." Mercedes glares at them.

"Nope. I will be taking these." Quinn takes the muffin basket back again.

"Yeah. And you know what? Quinn once had sex with a Latina lesbian. Ooh. Learned that in Glee Club." Sam says to them.

I cant help it and laugh out loud then walk out from that classroom as Sam pushes my body out from behind. "They might be want to join the glee club because of that." I laugh.

"That's true." Sam laughs as we walk back to the choir room.

"Okay everyone, Britt and I already got a place for our wedding. It's in the barn in Indianapolis." Santana says to us.

"Make sense because you cant held wedding in Ohio." I said to them.

"But why in a barn?" Sam asks me.

"So you can eat those cow's food." I said to Sam.

"I will put your phone back to the closet and make sure no one want to help you." Sam simply said.

"Ugh dont. I have my back up data there." I said to Sam.

"Besides who is the stupid who bring cellphone to closet while peeing?" Sam frowns at me.

"Sir, you bring your phone while you pooping and you listening to music while doing that. Look at to yourself first." I said to him and walk to the seat row.

"At least I didnt make my phone fall to the closet." Sam simply said and sit down next to me.

"But thank you. Without you, I'd rather to flush my phone away than take that." I grin at him.

"Next time, be careful." Sam pinches my nose and smirks at me then give me a quick kiss on my lips.

"Okay, guys progress report. How's it going with the new recruits?" Rachel asks us.

"Horrible. It ain't working." Puck simply said.

"It's not good, Rachel." Tina shakes her head.

"Glee Club has fallen so far at this school, we're not gonna be able to get anyone to join." Quinn says to us.

Suddenly there is a voice is singing. We just being quiet and looking at each other. Where's that song come from?

"There's the voice again." Rachel says to us.

"Dudes, he's in the showers in the locker room. They're always in the showers." Sam says to us.

"Sam, this is different case." I roll my eyes.

This voice is still singing. We then walk out from the choir room and walk around to find this voice. Until we walk to the library and we found that voice come from.

"Are you guys gonna beat me up? 'Cause I just need a second to get in the fetal position." That guy says to us.

"No, no, we we heard you singing." Rachel says to him.

"Yeah, you're amazing." Mercedes nodded.

"Dude, you've got to audition for the glee club." Puck says to him.

"So people can make fun of me more than they already do? Even the principal calls me White Precious." He said to us.

"Come here, you are precious." Puck says to him and help him to stand up.

"Well, all anybody cares about in Glee Club is the way you sing." Rachel says to him.

"Look, no one has signed up for your club yet, right? Okay. Well, having me as your first member is just gonna drive kids away even more.bI have designed my entire life around people not noticing me." He said to us.

"Look, no one has wanted to feel more invisible than I have over the past couple of months. But when I'm with these people, they remind me of the best parts of myself.And they would never make fun of me." Rachel says to him.

"Mmm, not to her face, no way." Brittany simply said.

"You're the poster child for Glee Club.You're why Mr. Schue started the club in the first place. I-It's a place where misfits can fit in. Will you please try out? I'm really sorry that I came on so strong. But you can sing whatever you want." Rache says to him.

"Yeah, I guarantee you're gonna get in. Look at all of us. We're all so different, and yet there's nothing that we wouldn't do for each other." Tina says to him.

"We're all just a phone call away. And that is because we took a chance on Glee Club. And that's something that you deserve as well." Quinn says to him.

He just looking at us one by one as we are smiling at him. I hope that this big guy want to join because he's get this killer voice.

"Kate, where is my iPod?" Kurt shouts from his room.

"I borrowed it." I simply said.

"I need that. Come on." Kurt walks to my room and shows me his hand.

I shake my head and hold that iPod. "I'm bored."

"Use yours." Kurt groans.

"I dont have any and Sam took my phone to apple center because it blanking." I said to Kurt.

"How come?" Kurt frowns at me.

"It fell to the toilet bowl." I giggle. "Then Sam took it for me and bring it to the apple center."

"How sweet. He want to do anything for you." Kurt smiles at me and sit down on the edge of my bed.

"Yeah. I really love him. He showed me that he is a man now. He's such a great guy." I said to Kurt.

"Well, maybe you should give him a chance to have an official relationship with you. I mean how long you want to keep him hanging on like that huh?" Kurt asks me.

"You think so?"

"Kate, it's been two years you both together. Did he ever made you cry or lie to you? All I see that Sam is really care about you. When you were sick, who want to stay 24 hours here? He took my part to go to drug store and buy medicine for you but I'm okay with that because I see that there is a guy who loves my sister so much and I hope that he will love you as much as I do." Kurt says to me.

"Yeah maybe I will talk to him about that. It's the longest relationship that I ever had with someone else and I have it with Sam. Even though it's unofficially." I said to Kurt.

"Just talk to him. Dont wait until he give up and find another girl because you will regret it later." Kurt says to me.

"Sam wont do that." I shake my head.

"Kate, everyone has their own limit. You cant say he wont do that. What if he is tired with waiting? He go and leave you?" Kurt raises his eyebrows at me.

"Dont scared me with that." I groan.

"I didnt scared you but that's the fact." Kurt simply said.

"I know that. I just dont know what to do." I let out a sigh.

"Tell him what you feel before it's too late." Kurt simply said and take his iPod then walk out from my room.

"Dad, Kurt took my iPod away!" I yelled.

"Kurt..." Dad shout.

"This is mine not hers." Kurt protest.

I roll my eyes and pull the blanket to cover my whole body then hugging my pillow. Maybe what Kurt said was right. I should tell Sam before it's too late but how? I'm not good in making love confession. Ah, I will figure it out later.

Now back to the glee club. I'm just busy with arrange the music sheet on top piano in choir room while the others are still busy recruiting some members for glee club. We actually already got one. He is Roderick. That big guy that we found in library and he really has a great voice.

"Hey, there Miss Universe." Sam suddenly put his hand around my waist and kisses my cheek then walk away.

I turn my face at him and frown. "Why are you wearing that sports uniform?" I ask him.

"Oh I'm working part time as football coach helping Beiste. I'll see you around. If you are looking for me, I'm in the field or text me." Sam grins at me.

"You know that I dont have cellphone for now." I said to him.

"Forget that. Okay I'm in the field or boys locker room." Sam simply said and walk away.

I left my music sheet and walks to the door and standing in the hallways. "Sam?" I called him.

"Yes?" Sam turn around and raises his eyebrows at me.

"I love you." I smile at him.

Sam just rubs my cheeks and smiles at me. Until he pushes his face closer to me and kisses me softly. "I love you more." Sam smiles at me and walk away.

I just smiling at him and walk back to the choir room. See? This is my problem. I dont know how to tell Sam that I want to have actual relationship with him but I bet he knows how much I love him.

We are no longer teenage anymore. We are adult but my fear still following me everywhere. I feel like the big impact of having a bad relationship is actually really big. I just dont know what to do.

I keep organizing the music sheet until Rachel walks in with a black girl. "Who is she?" I ask Rachel.

"She is Jane Hayward. Our newest glee club member." Rachel says to me.

"Jane." That girl smiles at me and shows me her hand.

"Kate Hummel." I smile back at her and shake her hand.

"Where are the others?" Rachel asks me.

"I dont know." I shake my head.

"Okay, you can sit down there and we will wait for the others." Rachel says to her.

"Sorry, I'm late." Roderick walks in and sit down next to Jane.

The others finally walk in to the choir room and looking at them. Two is better than we got no member at all actually.

"The new and improved glee club has officially begun. Introducing our first two members, Jane and Roderick." Rachel says to us.

"Well, they'd better come fast. I mean, I'm sorry, but two people?" Tina asks us.

"Shut up, Tina." Santana, Quinn, and Brittany walks in with a twin. "There's actually four. As per usual, my undeniable sexual magnetism has worked yet again.Ladies and gentlemen, this is Mason and Madison McCarthy." Santana introduced that two people to us.

"Hey, gang. We're super pumped there's a glee club again.bNow, I know what you're thinking. They can obviously log roll and kick toss, but can they sing? -Well, not to toot our own horns." Mason grins at us.

"Toot! But we've won karaoke night at the Wapakoneta Summer Cheer Camp every year since we were three. It's in our blood. Our parents met while touring with the inspirational, world-famous singing group, Up with People." Madison says to us.

"Oh, no, no, no, no. I think I've made a mistake." Santana shakes her head.

"No, it's okay. You're welcome. I mean, you're gonna have to audition. We have a very rigorous process." Rachel says to them.

"I mean, not really. Sugar Motta was literally tone-deaf." Tina simply says.

"Yeah, but she was hot." Artie says.

"Attention!" Puck and Sam walks in with a guy following them from behind. "Let me introduce you, another postmodern gay, Spencer Porter." Puck says to us and points to that guy.

"I'm actually really happy. This is the start of something really special. And I know that most of you came home just for homecoming and not for me and Kurt, but we can't tell you how grateful we are for your help. Get over here. Let's hug. Bring it in. Get in for this. You guys, bring it in! Start getting comfortable with group hugs." Rachel grins at us as we start hugging each other and smiling at each other.
