Chapter 45

Ji Woo was up once again after having several nightmares. She curls up on the couch, covering her ears from all the voices that she was hearing. She felt like she was drowning. She couldn't hear anything other than the voices. She screamed but she couldn't hear herself. She felt darkness.

Seokjin woke up from the scream. He exits his shared room with Taehyung and sees the girl curled tightly. Taking two huge strides, he scoops her into his arms. "Ji Woo," he mutters, hugging her tightly but she kept crying and screaming. "It's okay."

Namjoon and Hoseok were next to appear, having coming from Bangtan room. They glanced worriedly at Ji Woo who seemed to not be able to hear them. "It's okay Ji Woo," the eldest continues, heart clenching. "Everything is okay. Jin Appa is here. Don't be scared."

All of the sudden, it was as if something left her, she stopped screaming and looked up to Seokjin who was looking down worriedly. "J-J-Jin A-Ap-Appa," she whispers before hugging him tightly. "I was so sacred. I was hearing so many things Appa. I can't sleep because of nightmares. I felt darkness at my fingertips Appa. It was so scary."

He only pulled her closer to his chest and hugged her tighter, running his hand through her hair to comfort her. "It's over now Ji Woo. Everything's over. Don't worry okay," he whispers into her ear. "What were you dreaming about princess?"

"I was dreaming about that man that came a few days ago..." she whispers.

"Do you know who he is?" he continues softly while the '94 liner stood there silently.

"I feel like I should know but I cannot remember anything about him," she replies. "I only know that Min Jun hates him with a passion and it was because of me."

"Has Min Jun talked to you?" he asks and she shakes her head. "You should ask him... You know."

"Maybe..." she trails off before yawning. "I'm tired Appa..."

"Just sleep," he cooes, smiling widely and she lays her head on his broad shoulder, immediately sleeping.

He waves his hand to make Hoseok and Namjoon return back to the studio. He takes his phone out sending a quick text before pocketing his phone. He stands up and quietly makes his way into the twin's bed before putting the girl down. He leaves the room and closes the door softly.

"Ji Woo ah," Seokjin says, squatting before her. "Appas has to go to deal with some matters. So we're putting you with Dongjun okay? Do you remember him? He came with Ji Hyo unnie."

"Nae Jin Appa. Ji Woo remembers Dongjun," she says and looks around before playing with the end of her shirt. "Where's Min Junnie..."

He sighs, looking at the girl sadly. "We're going to try find out what happened... If its true, Min Jun will have to learn to live without you am I right?" he says, smiling slightly. "This could be a practice Ji Woo. Su Bin is busy with work so she can't take care of you. Sorry Ji Woo..."

She looks sadly to the ground, biting on her lower lip. "Appa will be back at night okay? Behave yourself okay?" the eldest member speaks softly and she nods, not looking up.

Seokjin stands up, knowing that the girl was clearly upset but knocks on the door. Dongjun opens the door. "Hyung!" he greets, smiling and his eyes wander to Ji Woo who was fiddling with her hands.

"She's not really liking the idea of being separated from all of us," the older explains and the ZE:A member nods understandingly. "She gets cranky if she doesn't eat her meals properly. Her favourite soft toy is in this bag with towel and clothing. She knows how to operate the shower just stand outside to make sure she doesn't harm herself."

"Yes hyung!" Dongjun exclaims and salutes, bringing a smile to the Bangtan member as he takes the bag.

"Thank you for taking care of her Dongjun," Seokjin says once again but was just replied with a smile.

He squats down once again and kisses her forehead lightly. "Listen to Oppas okay Ji Woo? Appa has to go now," he says and she nods.

Seokjin sends another smile towards Dongjun before walking away, heart tugging painfully. Dongjun waits till his hyung had went into the lift before squatting down, a smile gracing his lips. "Ji Woo ah?" he calls out but her head was still down.

He saw a quivering pout and frowns. He tilts her head up to reveal unshed tears in her eyes and a pout. He immediately wrap his arms around her, carrying her into the dorm and away from judgemental eyes. Woongjae and Kwanghee were quarrelling about something but stops when they see the maknae carrying a young girl, her face buried into his shirt. "Hyung, she's Ji Woo," he explains and they nod. "Ji Woo ah..."

She grips his shirt and buries her face even further even though that wasn't possible. She was trying to find warmth and the sense of security that any of the Bangtan member naturally had. But she couldn't find any with Dongjun so she started to squirm, trying to find a place that had a little of both traits. "Ji Woo..." he coaxes, struggling to keep her up.

He misses and she fell to the ground, shocking the two older members who stood there with open mouths. Her face scrunches up and a cry was released. She curled up into a ball, holding onto the area that hurt, still crying. Dongjun immediately drops the bag and kneels next to her, not knowing to cradle her or not. Kwanghee and Woongjae does the same but tries to comfort her.

The commotion had Ji Yeop appear and he was shocked at the sight of three grown men kneeling next to a young girl. "What happened?!" he exclaims in shock, cradling the girl immediately, trying to soothe her from crying.

"S-S-She was squirming and then she f-f-fell!" Dongjun exclaims, stuttering.

"Bloody hell," Ji Yeop curses in English as he observes the bump forming on her head, careful not to applying too much pressure.

As he continued to mutter English under his breath while still fussing over the bump, occasionally ordering the maknae to bring something he needed and he slowly applies the ice wrapped in cloth on her head. "Don't cry~" he whispers, wiping the tear stains on her face.

"If not, you won't be pretty anymore!" Kwanghee exclaims and she shrinks involuntarily, making the latter frown.

"Don't scare her hyung," Woongjae says, hitting the slightly older male.

"That's hurts! Yah!" Kwanghee exclaims sassily.

"Oh my gosh. Shut it!" Ji Yeop raises his voice slightly, rolling his eyes before looking back to Ji Woo who was staring at him. "Are you okay?"

She nods hesitantly and he almost cooes at the sight. "Sorry Ji Woo..." Dongjun says, smiling sheepishly.

"It's okay Oppa..." she whispers and he smiles slightly.

"He's Ji Yeop hyung, you can call him Kevin Oppa," Dongjun starts.

"Kevin Oppa..." she greets softly and Ji Yeop smiles, nodding his head.

"Ji Woo," Dongjun calls out to gain her attention. "He's Woongjae hyung, you can call him Siwan Oppa. The other hyung is Kwanghee hyung."

"Siwan Oppa... Kwanghee Oppa..." she greets shyly and they grin at her.

"Do you want to meet the others?" Dongjun asks and she looks at him.

"There's more?" she asks and he nods, smiling before holding out his arms.

She thinks about it. She only knew Dongjun but not the others... She didn't know if they wanted to hurt her since she only met Dongjun once. She slowly slides down from Ji Yeop's lap and into Dongjun's arm.

The maknae smiles before lifting her up and brought her around to introduce the rest of the members. As Hyung Sik was greeting her, Ji Yeop and Minwoo observes from a distance. "Dongjun is a natural. He'll be a great Appa," Minwoo comments and the other agrees. "Hyung Sik too."

Hyung Sik made Ji Woo smile by showering compliments and cute comments. She hide her face behind her small hands, giggling as Dongjun joined in and called her 'princess' and 'baby'. "Princess, do you want to meet the last member?" Dongjun asks and she nods, smiling slightly.

The tallest male of ZE:A excuses himself as they approached the composing room in the dorm. The maknae knocks on the door before entering. Ji Woo saw a man, writing lyrics with headphones around his neck. "Sugar Appa!" she exclaims happily but when the man turns around, her smile turned upside down. "Sorry..."

"Hyung, this is Ji Woo. The one I mentioned earlier that I was going to babysit because Jin hyung asked," Dongjun explains and Taehun nods silently, staring blankly before going back to his work.

"Dongjun Oppa," she whispers, still looking at the muscular back and he leans down slightly. "Does Oppa not like me?"

"It's not that Ji Woo ah. Hyung is just like this when he's working," he says, smiling widely. "Why don't we go and play with Hyung Sik Oppa while waiting for Siwan to cook for us?"

He carries her out and before leaving the room, he gives one last glance to the male in the room, sighing softly but leaves.
