Chapter 33
12:00, 24 July 2015The boys threw themselves onto the ground while rejoicing once Sungdeuk hyung released them for a short break before having dinner and back to practice.
The two youngest was leaning against each other as they laughed about something that the older boys would never understand. As Yoongi and Jimin found themselves next to each other again, backs against the mirror and breathing heavily.
The door opens but no one appears, puzzling all members who had looked over. Now it just made them think that ghosts exist. "Appa~" the twins' familiar voice from the distant echoes throughout the dance studio.
That brought a smile onto all their tired faces and Jungkook immediately stands up as the twins enter the studio. Ji Woo runs into the maknae's arms like usual as he swings her around and tickles her playfully, emitting her cheerful laughter, making all the members forget about their exhaustion.
Min Jun jumps on Namjoon before he could stand up, almost making the leader fall from the external force. He chuckles as he grasps the tiny boy's legs tightly to make sure he wouldn't fall. "Rap Appa~" he greets happily as Namjoon smiles even wider, thinking that all these practices was worth it to keep these 2 twins healthy and happy.
"Where's Su Bin Unnie?" Taehyung asks Ji Woo in his aegyo voice.
Her eyes widen jumps out of Jungkook's arms, leaving a heart attack for the 2 youngest but breathed out a sigh of relief when she wasn't hurt. "Yah Min Jun!" the young girl yells as the boy pouts and squirms off the leader's back, making the members have a second heart attack.
They both disappear and moments later, emerge with a bag each that had the boys' favourite chicken while struggling to lift the bags up properly. Su Bin appears behind them, smiling widely while carrying 10 different bags on each arm and 2 drink carriers in each hand.
Seokjin and Hoseok immediately goes over to help the girl with the bags, passing the drink carries to Yoonmin. Namjoon helps with the bags once he made sure that the twins were safe. "You should have called us to help you!" Hoseok chides the girl lightly as she just smiles sheepishly.
"It's okay! Oppas must be tired after dance practice, no need to bother you guys too much," she says as she puts all the bags down. "I brought chicken, bibimbap, kimbap, naengmyeon, jajangmyeon, jeon, tteok and finally kimchi!"
The boys were amazed as waves of delicious smells hit them. "I made the coffee that Oppas each love like normal," she says as Jimin gives out the coffee that had each of their names on it. "I brought some pastries and cake for dessert. So Korean and Western mix! Oh open the lids first before drinking the coffee!"
They all scrambled to opened the lids. Each of them were greeted with different pictures of their favourite character with a speech bubble that said 'Hwaiting~' They all grinned and puts the coffee down without spilling anything. Taehyung was first to hug her as the rest piled on her. She was shocked with the reaction she had received but smiles widely and showing off the half-moon crescents like Jimin's as she grabbed onto Hoseok's arm tightly to not fall over. She laughs as the boys repeats their thanks.
"Appa. Unnie/Noona. We're hungry!" the twins whines as the elders laugh and releases each other before sitting in the middle of the dance studio.
"How was work?" Taehyung asks as he slurps jajangmyeon, looking to the younger.
"It's the same. Celebrities coming in and out. Boss wants me to work all 7 days now because most of the business happens when I'm on shift," she says feeding Min Jun some bibimbap carefully.
"That's good!" Namjoon says proudly. "That's hell good!"
"Yeah. But if I do so, it means my colleague doesn't need to work..." she replies sadly. "I told Boss I'll think about it."
"Why don't you teach your colleague?" Jimin asks taking a drink of the sweet coffee.
"He can't be bothered doing specific drinks and tuning it to their tastes. It takes too much effort," she replies simply. "He's a really nice guy but yeah..."
"Some people are just like that. There isn't anything you can do," Yoongi replies as he swallows the food in his mouth. "It's just how they were brought up. For their own selfish needs instead of thinking about others. Not everyone is like you."
Her smile immediately falters but it returns as fast as it was gone. Seokjin frowns seeing the scene and mentally reminds himself to ask the Seoul girl about it.
"Hyun Min came up to us today," Ji Woo mentions and the whole atmosphere changed. "He made fun of us for being weak and needing Appas to stand up to someone else. And that having 7 Appas is wrong."
The 4D boy sighs as he carries Ji Woo onto his lap, making her face him and look into his eyes to know that he was being serious. "Having 7 Appas is not wrong. Definitely not wrong. You're different. A good different. Don't listen to whatever other people say. Don't stick to the usual to fit in. It's not fun. Be like V Appa. Weird and 4D," he says softly. "Just know that when you cry, there will be 7 Appas, 1 Unnie and 1 Oppa to protect you while all they have is 1 Appa and 1 Eomma. It's their loss."
The twin girl nods before hugging Taehyung tightly, leaving a smile on his lips. Seokjin and Namjoon share a knowing look. The boys were maturing. In a good way.
As dinner continued, mindless chatter filled every corner of the huge dance studio. Everyone was finishing all the food and Namjoon suddenly felt his hands getting sweaty and was breaking out in cold sweat. He clears his throat under his breath and recites his words while shakily adjusting his snapback.
"Guys..." he says shakily, gaining everyone's attention and he gulps down excessive saliva. "I'm going solo..."
The tension in the room just rose. "Mwo?!" Jungkook exclaims, staring wide eyed at the leader. "You're joking right?"
Before an answer could be heard, the Busan dancer had ran out of the studio, tears threatening to leave his eyes. Yoongi sighs and leave to talk to him. He knew that Namjoon was going to tell the group and he knew Jimin was going to be like this. Without even listening to the explanation.
Namjoon sighs as Yoongi nods at him before leaving the dance studio. "I'm not leaving the group..." he says, making the rest of the members sigh in relief. "I'm just going to produce my own songs... I've talked to Bang PDnim already..."
"So you're not going solo as in leaving the group but just producing songs by yourself?" Taehyung asks to reassure himself and the leader nods firmly. "Let's just hope Jimin understands."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jimin gripped onto the cold metal rail before yelling out but all he got back was the echoes of the wind. As if mocking him of his misery. "Jerk," he mutters.
"Talking about Rap Mon behind his back?" a voice was heard and the dancer turned around to see his favourite hyung, leaning against the door frame.
"I'm not that disrespectful. I was just cursing at the wind," the younger replies.
"The wind?" the rapper questions chuckling at the other's silliness before pushing himself off the door frame and leaned against the rail, next to him. "What did the wind do to offend Park Jimin?"
"It was mocking me hyung," he replies, pouting and blows up his cheeks. The older quirks an eyebrow in amusement at him. "I yelled at it and it just replied with echoes. I swear I could hear its laughter at my pathetic life."
"Pathetic life?" Yoongi says. "Your life is nowhere pathetic Jiminnie."
The younger's heart warmed up slightly at the nickname. "But Namjoon hyung is leaving the group..." he trails off and receives a hit at the back of his head. "Our lives will really be over."
"Do you blame him?" he got to the question.
"Leader hyung? Surprisingly no..." the bagel boy mutters. "Hyung was already struggling with the comments about him not being a real rapper from his rapper friends. He struggled a lot with the same thing that's why he took away those sunglasses to break that cycle."
"At least you don't blame him. But you didn't let him explain," Yoongi replies.
"Explain?"
"Yea. Namjoon didn't exactly mean he wanted to go solo. Even though he's a rapper and a bloody genius..." he days chuckling before looking over to the younger. "He didn't and couldn't find the right words to say. What he meant was that he's going to release his own songs but he isn't leaving. Like Gary hyung."
Jimin turns to stare at Yoongi, expecting him to be smiling but his face was dead serious. "Jjinja? You're not lying right hyung?" he asks as a sob emitted from his mouth, shocking the other.
"Y-Y-Yah..." the older stutters. "Hajima... Don't cry..."
The younger just kept his head down while tears rolled down his face. His favourite hyung stretches his right arm out and brings the younger close to him. "H-H-Hyung..." he utters out surprised for the older was not a fan of skinship. In fact he avoided it as much as he could even during fan meetings.
Running a hair through the brown locks, shocked the owner even more. "Shh Jiminnie... Just enjoy this moment," he murmurs.
With the wind blowing around, it was as if it was a Korean drama. "Hyung... Gomawo..." he says, smiling as he returns the hug.
"No. Thank you Jimin," he whispers putting his head into the shorter's shoulder and just enjoyed the moment.
