Chapter 21

Su Bin fiddled with the silky material slightly, not wanting any creases in it. She felt uncomfortable being in a dress after almost 2 years of living on the streets. "Chin up," the makeup artist says. "You look beautiful."

She immediately blushes slightly. "Eh Noona!" Jungkook yells from the other side of the door. "Are you done? We have to leave soon!"

"Ne! Just give us a minute," she yells back as she hears the maknae scoff. She turns to Su Bin who was biting on her lower lip, obviously nervous. "Relax Su Bin. It's just a Christmas party."

"You wouldn't let me look into the mirror," the younger protests. "I could look like a piece of crap right now!"

"You don't," she reassures. "Trust Unnie this time okay? Now chin up and walk out of the room."

She nods hesitantly and gets up before walking to the door. She takes a deep breath and opens the door. "Finally! It's be-" Jungkook stops seeing Su Bin in front of him.

Looking at the maknae, she knew it was a bad idea and was about to turn to go back into the room when Jungkook grabs her wrist. "Ipuda..." he utters out. "Have you seen yourself in the mirror Su Bin?"

The girl shakes her head as she tucks a piece of hair behind her ear. "Come on," he says, smiling widely. "We have to go now."

She nods meekly. Wearing a dress, always made her more shy and gentle. Jungkook offers her his arm and she links arms with him slowly. "Hyung!" Jungkook calls out as they almost reach the living room. "You guys will not believe how she looks like."

As they entered the living room, the other members were standing up, staring at the pair. Once they saw Su Bin, their hearts filled with pride. "Unnie!" Ji Woo exclaims. "You're..."

"Beautiful," Taehyung finishes the younger girl's sentence in English.

"Thank you Namjoon Oppa," she says shyly with a faint blush across her face as the leader smiles, showing off his deep dimples. "For getting the makeup unnie for me."

"You're really beautiful Su Bin," Namjoon says as he opens his arms, wanting a hug.

She lets go of Jungkook's arm and immediately hugs Namjoon tightly. "Kamsahamida Oppa," she says almost crying.

The leader pats her head gently, still smiling. "It's an honor to see you like this," he says and she smiles slightly.

"Aish. You guys are making me tear up," Hoseok says pouting as he fake cries with Jimin.

Su Bin breaks the hug and then bows at all of them. "Kamsahamida Oppas," she says, stuttering slightly. "Thank you for saving my life."

The boys smiled slightly before they all hugged her tightly even the twins too. "Aish. Don't cry. It will smudge your makeup," Yoongi says as he lightly wipe away the tears that were falling. "There. Much better."

Seokjin holds her lightly by her arms and smile. "You make us proud," he says as he puts a piece of hair behind her ear. "You should see yourself now."

"She's isn't looking into the mirror till she gets to the party," the makeup artist says, appearing from the female's room. "Don't you guys need to leave already? I'm pretty sure your ride is here already."

"Kamsahamida!" all of them exclaims before leaving the dorm.

Now being on the limo, Su Bin had took a good look at the twins. "Daebak," she whispers, staring at them.

"Rapmon hyung got the best children's clothing specialist to style them," Taehyung says, smiling.

On Ji Woo was a cotton, dark blue dress that came to her knees with long sleeves to her wrist and on it, imprinted with small, white polka dots and small, golden ribbons across the front and back which was finished off with plain white round collar that had pre-made pattern along the edges and the pre-folded handcuffs. Her hair was curled at the ends, making her brown locks look longer. To finish her hairdo, the stylist had put a dark blue headband that had a flower-like shape on it. At her feet was a pair of black buckle shoes with white knee-length socks that had lace around it. She looked adorable.

Min Jun was wearing a long sleeved dark blue dress shirt with white collar and handcuffs like Ji Woo's dress. He was wearing black skinny jeans and black suspenders that was paired with a black bowtie. He was wearing black converse with blue strips across it. His hair was styled to look like Jimin in Boy In Luv music video.

"You look beautiful Ji Woo," she says as Ji Woo smiles at her. "If only your mother could see you now..."

"Eomma is looking at Min Jun and Ji Woo right now!" she exclaims smiling. "Jin Appa said that Eomma is above! She always looking down at us and keeping us safe!"

Su Bin looks over to Seokjin who was smiling at something Hoseok said. A smile tugged on her lips as Ji Woo climbs onto her lap. "Unnie," she says. "Eomma is here right?"

"Eomma..." the older girl whispers as she wraps her arms around the younger girl to prevent her from falling. "She's here. She always here."

Su Bin then points to Ji Woo's heart. "She is always here," she says as Ji Woo smiles.

"Does that mean Oppa has always been here?" Ji Woo asks and Su Bin nods.

"Oppa?" Taehyung asks curiously as Ji Woo runs to Min Jun.

"The twins had an older brother," she replies.

"Oh..." Taehyung says nodding. "Wait. Had?"

"Ne. He passed away..." Su Bin says bitterly.

"Mwo?!" Taehyung exclaims as she nods silently, fiddling with her dress once again. "Are you nervous?"

She meekly nods her head as Taehyung puts his hand on her shoulder as a way of reassuring her. "You look stunning okay?" he says softly. "Any guy your age will fall in love with you."

She just bites her lower lip as she played with her fingers this time. "Tonight is going to be about the twins and you," Taehyung says as he removes his hand and Su Bin looks up to stare at him wide-eyed. "Rapmon hyung talked to us before you came out. If there are reporters there which is definitely, their attention will be on the three of you. Some of the fans had already seen you hanging out with us and an eagled-eye A.R.M.Y has pointed out a girl sitting next to Jimin in this picture."

Taehyung shows her a picture of the paranoma that Hoseok took and posted on Twitter. At the very right corner of the picture was Su Bin and Jimin sitting on the van's hood in Busan. "They think," Taehyung says, keeping his phone. "That girl is Jimin's yeojachingu."

She nods her head slightly. "Don't be nervous!" Taehyung exclaims as he feel the limo stop. "You really look stunning. Chin up okay?"

The limo door opens and Namjoon gets off first, followed by Seokjin then Yoongi and it went on till Jimin, the twins and her was left. Jungkook turns to the twins and beckon them to come towards him. They got off the limo as the reporters started to click even more pictures, whispering among themselves. "You ready?" Jimin asks and she nods slolwy, licking her lips. "Don't worry. You look amazing."

He shows off his eye smile as he gets off the limo and offers his hand to her to help her get off before leaving it at his sides. She got off and hear clicks going off like crazy. She pushes her hair behind her ear as all of them start walking into the complex where Ji Hyo was holding the party. "I feel like I'm on the red carpet," she whispers to Jimin who just laughs.

They continued walking and stopped a couple of times to pose before entering the complex. "See it wasn't that bad!" Hoseok exclaims, smiling widely looking at Su Bin who just nods. "We'll deal with the tabloids tomorrow. Don't worry about it. PDnim knew this was going to happen so he has everything prepared."

"Ne..." she whispers as they entered the ballroom.

Some of the celebrities looked over to them with curiosity while others with judging looks. Su Bin kept her head down. Namjoon and Seokjin was looking around for Ji Hyo or Jong Kook but to no avail. Out of the corner of Seokjin's eyes, he saw Su Bin with her head down. He made eye contact with Jungkook and used his eyes to point at Su Bin. The maknae nods.

"Look up Su Bin," he softly encourages.

"Oppa..." she says.

"Look up Su Bin," he repeats again. "Ignore those looks and accusing fingers."

She takes a deep breath and looks up to see Jong Kook and Ji Hyo approaching them. "Noona~" the Bangtan boys chorused. "Hyungnim~"

"So glad you could make it," the actress smiles as she hugged each of the boys, attracting more attention to them.

The twins happily greeted the couple before bugging the boys to carry them.

"Unnie..." Su Bin greets softly. "Oppa..."

The boys just grinned as the couple's sight landed on the young girl. Jong Kook's heart welled up in pride. "Su Bin ah," he says smiling, showing off his crescent eyes as he approached her.

He held her arms lightly. "You look beautiful. If only your mother could see you now," he says and Su Bin remembers what she had told Ji Woo.

"You haven't seen yourself in the mirror right?" Ji Hyo asks and she shakes her head.

The older woman holds her hand out to her. "Let's go," she says smiling as Su Bin smiles before following her.

They walked past many people which Ji Hyo greets them happily. She entered what had the ladies' sign outside the door to enter a majestic toilet. There was a full length mirror but Su Bin couldn't see herself for Ji Hyo was blocking her view. They stopped in front of the mirror before Ji Hyo slowly stepped away.

Su Bin gasps, seeing herself in the mirror. "Da-Daebak," she stutters. "I look... good."

She was wearing a knee-length, dark purple silk dress where it flared out at the end. Her hair was done in a fishtail braid before being put into a bun. Her makeup was done to perfection with light purple eyeshadows. She couldn't believe how stunning she looked.

She was about to cry when Ji Hyo lightly puts her hand on shoulder. "I told Oppa it will look perfect on you," Ji Hyo says, smiling as Su Bin looks to her, surprised before hugging her tightly.

"Kamsahamida Unnie," she whispers as the older girl returns the hug.
