Chapter 17

"Su Bin ah~" Jong Kook calls out as he reaches the counter, knowing that she was working alone. "Coffee order for Ji Hyo."

"Ne Oppa~ Coming right up!" she exclaims as she gets to it.

The older man surveys the area and was quite impressed at this job she had got. "How's working here?" he asks.

"It's fun and I get to meet a lot of celebrities! Kang Gary Oppa came a few days ago!" Su Bin exclaims excitedly.

Jong Kook laughs as she placed two take away cups in front of him. "I only asked for one..." he trailed off.

"This one," she says raising the other cup, "is for you, Oppa. No caffeine or anything unhealthy in there. I finally got this drink right just for your preference. It's a been a habit of mine now to tamper a bit with everyone's drink to their taste. Try it Oppa."

Jong Kook sips it and smiles. "It's taste great Su Bin!" he compliments.

"Kamsahamida Oppa~" she says bowing. "Tell Ji Hyo Unnie to open her lid before drinking."

"Ne Su Bin~ Oppa will be leaving," he says as he grabs both of the cups, stilling sipping on his own.

"Have a nice day Oppa~" she greets like every other customer.

She hears the bell as she was wiping the counter top and she immediately turns around to greet the person but she stopped. "Oh Namjoon Oppa..." she says and he smiles tiredly before pushing his glasses.

"The dorm was too noisy. I needed peace and quiet with a cup of coffee to finish my personal stuff," he says.

"Ne~ Please take a seat and your drink will be served shortly," Su Bin says professionally, bringing him to a seat before starting to make his coffee.

Once she done, she did the latte art before bringing to Namjoon. He looks up from his writing and sees the art. It was a picture of him doing the V sign. "Wa Su Bin yah~ This is amazing!" he exclaims and she smiles.

"Won't bother you any further Oppa," she says, smiling before returning to behind the counter.

For the next few hours, Namjoon sat there silently writing with an empty coffee mug next to his book. From time to time, he would look up to see the girl enthusiastically serving the customers with a smile on her face, whether they were celebrities, managers or simply coffee runners.

"Oh Jiyong Oppa!" she exclaims as Namjoon looks up to see the leader of Big Bang before going back to his work.

"Aish. This kid. How many times have I told you? Call me G-Dragon!" he exclaims and she just smiles while shaking her head stubbornly. "Aish."

"The usual Oppa?" she asks smiling and Jiyong nods. "Coming right up!"

The leader leans against the counter and looks around the cafe for his eyes to land on the pale blonde haired leader. He walks over being on good terms with him. "Annyeong Rap Monster," he says smiling widely.

The younger looks up, shocking Jiyong. He had heavy eye bags under his eyes, cheekbones way more prominent than before and he was wearing glasses. "Gwenchana Namjoon?" Jiyong asks seriously, putting a hand on the younger's shoulder as he just nods, rubbing his eyes slightly. "Is management pushing you too hard?"

Namjoon shakes his head. "It's been a tad overwhelming lately," he whispers weakly, remembering that no one knew about them having Su Bin and the twins under their care. "I'm driving myself too much..."

Su Bin brought the 4 coffees with names on them in a carrier but she looks up to see Namjoon's weaken state. "Namjoon Oppa!" she exclaims putting the coffees on the table before holding onto his shoulder. "Gwenchana?"

Jiyong's eyes widen at the sight in front of him. "Did you eat today Oppa?" she questions and he silently shakes his head.

"Please take care of him for a while Jiyong Oppa," she says passing Namjoon to Jiyong and hurriedly running behind the counter to grab a croissant with tons of ham in it before bringing back to the table. "Kamsahamida Oppa."

She puts the plate on the table before dragging another chair from the table and sitting next to Namjoon. She broke the croissant into small pieces and fed Namjoon slowly. "Oppa, please remember to eat," Su Bin says gently.

"Aish. Oppa just forgot this once," he mutters, chewing on the fresh pastry and salty meat.

"This isn't the first time Oppa!" she exclaims, pouting before feeding Namjoon again.

Jiyong stared at the two of them as Su Bin lightly scolds Namjoon for not remembering to eat his meals. He thought they were together but realized that the age gap between them was too huge and the way she cared for him wasn't like a girlfriend. "Are you both related in some way?" Jiyong asks politely as Su Bin shakes her head, still feeding Namjoon.

"Bangtan Sonyeondan's manager found me and brought me to them. They're my guardians and tutors but now family," Su Bin explains as Jiyong's eyes widen once again at the thought of someone like Su Bin on the streets and how dangerous it was.

Namjoon finishes the croissant with a tad more energy and he was about to grab the pen again when Su Bin pushes him lightly against the chair as she fished for her phone. She took it out and called Taehyung.

"Yeboseyo~" Taehyung answers.

"V Oppa! Namjoon Oppa came to my work place to work on the album and he forgot to eat his meals. I already gave a croissant to him. Please pick him up Oppa! He's still quite weak," Su Bin quickly explains.

"Aish this hyung!" he exclaims. "Jungkook and I will be there soon! Take care of hyung for now."

He then hangs up as Su Bin puts her phone into her pocket. She bit her lip thinking how was this going work. She needed to finish a coffee order that she got through the phone for pick up. Seeing the girl's distress, Jiyong stepped in. "I'll take care of Namjoon. You go back to work," he says and she glance between Namjoon and the counter before nodding and runs to back the counter to start the coffee order.

A guy walks in with a slight strut. Su Bin looks up from the coffee, smiling but it faltered for a while. "Annyeong Su Bin~" the guy says as she forces a smile.

"Joonhyeon Oppa," she says miserably before finishing the last coffee.

"Are you done with the coffee?" he asks as she nods before silently putting the cups into a carrier.

She puts the carrier in front of the cashier as Joonhyeon holds the money with two fingers, leaning against the counter. She takes the money and returns the change to him. "Not even talking to me Su Bin?" he says, smirking.

"Sorry Oppa. I'm busy," she says as she returns to drying the mugs with a cloth.

"Aish. Don't be so cold~" he says. "Oppa just wants to treat you to a meal."

Namjoon stood up at his words but Jiyong held him down and firmly shook his head to the younger. "I really am flattered Oppa. But I really am not interested and I do not have the time," she replies as she leaves from behind the counter to grab the empty plates and mugs lying around from the previous rush hour and she didn't had time to clear it up.

"Oppa will wait until you have time," he says as he blocks her way. "Every single day."

"Oppa, please don't waste your time with me," she says firmly before walking the other way.

"Why not? You're pretty and have a nice body," he says smiling and she bites her lips out of annoyance. "Just one time. I won't bother you after that."

"I doubt that," she mutters under her breath as she picks up the last mug.

"Don't you need to go record Oppa?" Su Bin says as she puts the mugs and plates into the metal sink.

"It's break now. Decided to buy coffee for the others and to see you," he says winking at her as she avoided his eye contact. "You still haven't told me your answer."

"Thank you Oppa but really no," she says looking into his eyes. "I really don't have time."

"A teenager without time?" he says scoffing. "What are you doing?"

"I have 7 clumsy, annoying and over protective Oppas along with 2 younger siblings who cling to me endlessly who doesn't like me dating. We have no parents so we take care of each other," Su Bin says, making eye contact with Namjoon from the corner of her eyes who was smiling with his head down.

"Wow 10 kids. Your parents must have been really strong," he comments. "I'm not asking for a date Su Bin. I'm asking for a meal as friends."

"I really don't have the time Oppa," she rejects once again, smiling politely.

She walks towards Namjoon and Jiyong to tell Jiyong about the adjustments she did to the Big Bang's coffee when Joonhyeon latches his hand on her wrist tightly.

"Yah!" Seokjin exclaims as he steps into the cafe with Jungkook.

Joonhyeon stares at Seokjin, discarding the fact thar Seokjin was older. "Let go of her before I break you," he threatens the younger boy who lets go as Su Bin rubs the spot he grabbed onto. "Gwenchana Su Bin?"

"Ne Oppa..." she says as Jungkook stood next to her.

"Seokjin hyung," Joonhyeon says annoyed. "Jungkook."

"Joonhyeon," Jungkook replies with an equal tone as he huffs slightly.

"What are you guys doing here?" Joonhyeon asks.

"To get Namjoon hyung and buy coffee," the maknae replies, glaring at the boy standing opposite him.

Joonhyeon looks over the three of them to see the weaken leader and the Big Bang leader. "Oh hyung!" he exclaims waving his hand. "Buzz off then Jungkook. Get your leader and order your coffee."

Seokjin glares at the younger who rolls his eyes slightly. "Got it," he says as he grabs the coffee and then walked to the door but stops. "See you around Jagi~"

He winks before laughing and leaving the cafe. Su Bin holds Jungkook back as the maknae tries to lunge forward. "Who is he?" Su Bin asks as Jungkook still stares at the door.

"My ex-best friend."
