Chapter 5
17:07, 18 February 2015"Eh hyung what are you doing?" the maknae asks while Jimin was browsing through notebooks. "Buying a gift for your girlfriend ah~"
"Jungkook let me ask you ask something," Jimin asks and the youngest looks at him earnestly. "What have we been doing?"
"Filming, promoting and taking care of the twins," Jungkook replies not understanding why Jimin asked that question.
Jimin hits Jungkook with the notebook in his hand. "Ah hyung! It hurts!" he exclaims, rubbing the spot. "I don't get it!"
Jimin loops his arm around Jungkook's shoulder. "Have you see me with any girl?" Jimin asks and Jungkook shakes his head before earning another smack. "Hyung doesn't even time for Min Jun. Do you think I'll have time for a girl?"
"But you have time for the maknae in our dorm," Jungkook teases, referring to Su Bin. That earned him another smack on the head. "Ehhhhh. I'm just saying the truth!"
"Well you spend more time with her than me," Jimin says before finally putting the notebook down and taking his arm away from Jungkook's shoulders. "So that means you have fallen for her?"
Jimin forms his infamous eye smile that everyone adores. Jungkook glares at Jimin knowing that what he said wasn't true. Every guy in BTS felt the same for Su Bin that little sister that was their responsibility while the twins were really like their kids. Even though the twins spill things out about Su Bin easily, when they try to pry deeper, the twins will run away or yell for the older girl. That girl had grown a habit of wearing the boys' stuff. Whether it was their hat, bracelet or jacket. She was smiling more often now. Not a full smile but it was enough for the boys to not worry too much about her.
"But why a notebook?" Jungkook asks, flipping through a poorly designed notebook.
"Well Su Bin doesn't want to open up to us. Let's just hope this will help her," he says, waving the notebook in his hand before putting it down.
"And so? You plan to steal the notebook time from time to read it?" Jungkook asks sarcastically and Jiming shrugs before picking up a small notebook. He flipped through the pages quickly and looked the price. "Hyung. You're not thinking about it right?"
"Aish. Shhhhh," Jimin says, putting his finger on the maknae's lips. "I'm not that type of person. I wouldn't want her to not trust us even more."
He went to pay for the notebook and Jungkook catches up to him. "Do you really think this will work?" Jungkook asks worried. He really wanted Su Bin to trust them and talk about her past. He didn't want the maknae to suffer ever again.
"We just have to try," Jimin says as he receives his change from the cashier, thanking her before leaving for the exit, leaving Jungkook to catch up with him.

"Su Bin ah," Seokjin calls out and she appears in front of him. "Oppa is going out with the others okay? Ji Woo and Min Jun is sleeping. I don't thi-"
"I know what to do," she says before laughing softly as Seokjin rubs his nape. She pushes him to the door, smiling playfully.
"We'll be back in a few hours! Take care okay!" Seokjin yells before Su Bin closes the door, smiling at his caring self.
A knock was sounded through the dorm. "I know! Dinner is in the fridge!" the girl exclaim as she opened the door.
She looks up expecting it to be Seokjin or Namjoon but instead she saw the pair of eyes that she feared ever since she lived on the streets. She tries closing the door but was stopped by him. He flings the door open as she stumbles backwards. "I see you have a home now," he says, grinning.
She closes her eyes. How did he find her... She tries picturing the boys grinning at her but it didn't help. She opens her eyes to see him looking around the house. She needed to be strong. He always did the same if someone took her in for a long time. After he visits, she was always forced to leave.
He started to wreck the place and Su Bin jumped up to stop him. Her strength compared to his was nothing. He flung her backwards, allowing her to hit the wall. She felt like a scared child in front of him and she didn't want to feel that way again. He picks up a picture frame that Seokjin had put after he took a picture of BTS with the twins and her. He looks over to her smirking. "Where's the two useless things?"
"Not here," she hissed back.
"I know they're here. Those stupid boys left without them," he replies as he throws the frame on the ground, shattering the glass into pieces. "Where are they? Appa is here to play~"
"You're not anyone's appa," she hisses.
"Is this how you treat someone you use to yell for late in the night?" he asks as his finger trailed her jawline, smirking.
She glares back fiercely. "So let me ask you again. Where are the useless things?" he asks, patience running thin.
She purse her lips as an indication of not saying anything. He hits the side of her head, making her crash to the ground. "Ji Woo ah~ Min Jun ah~" he calls out.
The door opens and Su Bin's eyes widen. "Unnie?" Ji Woo whispers rubbing her eyes.
Su Bin scooted over to the man and held unto his leg tightly to prevent him from going over to the small girl. "Ji Woo go into the room and lock it!" she yells in Japanese, knowing that the man knew no Japanese. "Remember what I have told you what to do."
"Let go of me!" he yells angrily but she held on even tighter.
He digs his pocket but found no weapon. "Consider this as warning," he hisses before shaking Su Bin off him before he walks out of the dorm.
She breaths a sigh of relief as she shuts the door and lock it. She went to the room and knocked on the door. "Ji Woo..." she says softly and the door knob unlocked to reveal a crying girl. "Mianhae..."
She kneels down and stretch her arms out. Ji Woo runs into her arms as she hugs the older girl tightly, crying. "Will he come back?" she asks in between sobs.
"He won't," Su Bin lied as she pats the younger's head. "Are you tired?"
Ji Woo nods, rubbing her tears away. "Go to sleep... I'll wake you up when dinner is ready," Su Bin says before kissing her forehead and Ji Woo walks back to Yoongi's bed and laid down.
She closes the door and look at the mess. Luckily he only broke the picture frame while everything else was messed up. She sighs. She didn't want to bring the boys down with her. They don't deserve this. She picks her phone up to call their manager. "Oppa. Someone came into the dorm when the boys weren't around and messed up the place," she lies as the manager sighs. "Mianhae. I was afraid of coming out of my room."
"Aniyo. I just thought one of the boys would have stayed... To keep you and the twins safe..." the manager says softly.
"Aish oppa. They have their own lives too. I can't expect them to always stick around me," she replies.
"I'll make sure security is tighten. If it happens again, we're moving," he says.
"Ne oppa. I have to clear up the mess now," she says and bid goodbye before hanging up.

As she put the picture back to its place, the microwave dinged indicating that dinner was ready. She walks to the room to see the twins still sleeping tiredly. She saw tear strains on Ji Woo's face. She sighs as she wipes them off softly, not disturbing her. "Mianhae Ji Woo..." she whispers. "Unnie failed you..."
She decided not to wake them up for dinner. She leaves the room quietly and closes the door. She laid the table for herself before she started to eat quietly. It has been almost 2 months since the boys 'took her in'. She was slowly letting her guard down, not too much. The higher the hope, the higher the disappointment. She smiles softly at how whenever she thinks or mention about the word 'hope', Hoseok will pop into her mind. He would tell her everyday after they got close. 'As long as hope is around, there will be no disappointment.'
She really was very grateful for the boys. In order to 'repay' them, she would clean the dorm up whenever it got a little too messy. She recalls the times where Namjoon and her would sit at the very same table they used to eat and the older boy would guide her through her homework, driving away whoever tried to distract her. Especially Taehyung or Jungkook. They stuck with her too much.
She remembered the first time she was told to write. Yoongi had pushed a blank piece of paper and pen over to her. She blinked at him not knowing what to do. Yoongi was pretty shocked that she didn't know how to write, well more like forgot how to. And from that day for almost a month, everyday she had to sit at the table and write out hangul for an hour straight with the supervision of one of the boys. She messed up a lot but with the guidance of the boys, she managed to remember how to write again.
She got her phone out and started playing music softly. Yoongi had took the initiative to put their own songs in her phone since she forgot what it was like to listen to music. She forgets because when you're living on the streets, writing, downloading music and technology was not a big thing.
She heard the main door being opened and she turned the music off, keeping her phone. She knew how Seokjin didn't like phones out on the table even when they're eating by themselves. "Aigo. You just started to eat?" Taehyung asks and she nods.
As the rest of the boys entered the dorm, Taehyung's eyes wandered over the living room. There were somethings out of place and the frame was different from the one Seokjin had put. "Su Bin ah," he says, eyes still on the picture frame. "Did anything happen when we were gone?"
"Aniyo," she lies as she kept her head down, eating her dinner. "Wae?"
"I could have sworn that the picture frame was black before we left," Taehyung says looking at the transparent frame, earning the attention of others.
"I was cleaning the floor when I accidentally bumped into the picture frame and broke it. Mianhae," she says, bowing slightly.
"Did you get yourself hurt?" Seokjin asks and she shakes her head.
"Wait the floor was just clean yesterday by RapMon hyung," Jungkook says as he frowns. "Why did you need to clean it again?"
"Er..." she says trailing off, biting her lower lip. She really didn't want anyone to know about that man. "I dropped some flour."
"Yah Su Bin. You know that you really suck at lying," Yoongi says. "Tell us the truth."
"I just told you," she replies calmly as she continued to eat.
Namjoon shook his head to indicate not to ask anymore questions and they all nodded. "Su Bin ah!" Jimin exclaims. "Here's something from all of us."
"I've already said not to spend money on me..." she whispers as Jimin slides a plastic bag over to her while grinning. She open it to see a new phone case. "Huh?"
Jimin shows his phone case. "Everyone has it!" he exclaims excitedly and she turns to see everyone else holding up the same case just in either black or white. "It was by a sponsor. We requested for one more to give it to you! And we signed on it too!"
"Kamsahabnida..." she says trailing off. "Oppa."
"Yes!" Jungkook cheers. "You finally called oppa!"
He started to do a weird fist pumping and Hoseok joined him in it, making her laugh. The boys got into a circle and started to cheer which got her laughing even more. It was this bunch boys that made her believe again. She'll never tell them but maybe one day they'll find out.
