Chapter 58

"Morning." I smiled as I walked into the kitchen. "Good morning." Dad smiled back at me. "I heard shouting last night, is everything okay?" Mom asked me, I looked at Cara. "Yeah, the boys were just arguing." I said as Trey walked into the room, he looked me up and down and then scoffed.

"Where's loverboy?" He asked. "Upstairs." I said bluntly as I grabbed a pancake and some bacon. "He hasn't left yet then." "For your information, we've been together for nearly six months so I think you should shut the hell up." I snapped at him.

"Okay, let's not start an argument now guys." Dad stopped us before it got any worse. "What happened?" Lilly looked between us. "They're just being silly." Cara told her. Cody came down and then stopped as he walked into the room.

"I'm gonna go." He said, I gave him a weird look. "What's up?" I followed him into the hall. "He got what he came here for and now he's leaving." Trey said behind me, I heard my Mom scold him. "What's going on?" "I have some things to do at home." "Why are you lying?"

"I just.." His voce trailed off as he looked past me, I knew he was looking at Trey. "I can't do this, I'll see you whenever." He kissed my head and walked towards the door. "So that's it?" I stayed where I was but moved so I was still facing him.

"I'll see you whenever? That's what you're going to leave it as?" "We both know it's not supposed to be like this but he hates me and I don't want to be here for him to make me feel bad about it." "Fine, I'll see you whenever." I faked a smile.

"Later. I'll see you later." He corrected. "Sure." I rolled my eyes and walked back into the kitchen. "Thanks a lot for that." I said sarcastically to Trey. "Look I don't know what happened last night, well I have an idea, but you can't fight about this in front of a six year old." Mom said.

"I'm almost seven!" Lilly butted it, I giggled at her. "I'm not talking to him anymore." "You'll have to, I'm baby sitting tonight." He smirked at me. "I don't need baby sitting." I rolled my eyes. "Oh yeah, about that.. I'm not working tonight anymore so you don't have to." Dad told him.

"And I want to talk to you." He pointed at Trey. "I wanna know what happened last night." "I could tell you that, Dad." I said, Dad shook his head. "Trey can tell me." "Fine." I sighed and then walked upstairs. I had a text from Alli so I opened it.

Alli: Do you wanna come to the beach with me, Nash, Cameron and Madison?xxx

Me: Madison Pettis?xxx

Alli: No, Beer. You coming?xxx

Me: Sure, I'll be there in a half hour :) xxx

Alli: We're going to be at your favorite beach, not the one by your house xxx

Me: I'll be a little longer then haha xxx

I put my phone down and went to my closet and got out a bikini and a summer dress. I made beachy waves in my hair and put a flower headband in it and then applied my make up. I grabbed a bag and filled it with all the things I'd need and then grabbed my phone and ran downstairs.

"Dad? I'm going to the beach." "With who?" "Alli." "Just Alli?" "And some others, is that okay?" "Is Cody going?" "No." "Are you sure?" He interrigated, I sighed. "Yes, why would that matter if we were going together?" "I think you guys need to spend some time apart."

"Where did that come from?" "Trey told me what happened last night." "So what?! You know we have se-" "That's not it though, is it?" "What else has he done now?" "He has no respect for you and he tried to hit Trey!" "Bullshi-" "Do not curse infront of me." "He's talking crap! That never happened and I have no idea where he got the 'no respect' bit from. You're just giving Trey what he wants!"

"Trey and I know you better than Cody doe-" "No you don't, he's my boyfriend and I tell him so many other things that I'd never tell you." "Just go to the beach." "And Cody?" "We'll continue this when you get back." I rolled my eyes and walked out the front door.

"Alli!" I shouted and ran over to her, I greeted her with a hug. "Hi Madison." I smiled. "Hey." She smiled back. "Cameron and Nash will be here soon." Alli said, I nodded and sat down. "I watched your performance last night, it was soooo good." "Thank you." I smiled.

"Oh and Alli?" I looked at her. "Hmm?" "Dad says I can't see Cody." I pouted. "Why?" "Trey walked in on us-" "Oh yeah, Cody told me about that." "And then he told Dad loads of lies and Dad believes him and now he thinks we should spend some time apart." I explained.

"That's annoying." She rolled her eyes. "I know." "You and him are really cute though." Madison pointed out, I smiled. "Thanks again." I giggled. We all decided to sunbathe so we layed down on the sand in our bikinis.

I heard a whistle and sat up to see Cameron and Nash walking towards us. "Hey!" They finally approached us. "Hi." We said at the same time. "Sorry we're late, he took forever to get ready." Nash nudged Cameron, I giggled again.

"I like that laugh." Cameron said before mimicking it, I giggled once again which him do it again with an adorable smile. "Stop." I giggled. "Wanna go in the water?" Nash asked. "Yeah." We all got up. "I wanna get a popsicle first." I said. "I'll go with you." Cameron offered, I accepted.

"I thought you were really good last night." He praised, I smiled. "Thank you." "I bet you've been told that a lot though." "I have but it's good, it makes me more confident." "Well that's good, I like a confident girl." He winked, I laughed.

"Thank you for walking me to the shop." I thanked as we got back on the sand. "It's my pleasure." "Oh my gosh, the water is so cold!" Madison ran over to us, I laughed. "I bet it is." "Nash pushed me and I fell in and got all wet." She moaned.

"I would of if he didn't." "Hey Lauren?!" Alli shouted me, I looked at her. "I want some of your popsicle!" She began to run to me, I turned and ran the other way. "Never!" I screamed as she chased me.

"Today was fun." I said as we all sat on the sand and watched the sun go down. "We should all hang out more often." Madison said. "I know." Alli agreed. "You girls talk a lot." Nash pointed out, Madison nudged him playfully.

"Cameron hasn't said anything in a while." I looked at him, he shrugged. "I better get home." Madison got up, I agreed and got up. "Shall I tell Cody what your Dad said?" Alli asked as everyone esle got up. "Uh- Yeah please." I smiled.

"He'll come over anyway but hey." I shrugged, Alli laughed. I looked over at the road, it was dark. "I don't want to walk home alone." I said. "I'll walk you." Cameron offered. "Yes please." I accepted. "See you guys!" I waved as we walked off.

"So you're scared of the dark?" Cameron asked. "No, I just don't like walking home on my own and not in the dark. There's all sorts of bad people out there." I shivered at the thought. "It's cool, you're safe with me." "I figured." I giggled.

"There it is again." He laughed, I covered my mouth as I tried to hold it in. "You're cute." He smiled, I did too. "You're not too bad yourself." We stopped outside my front door. I leant against the wall, Cameron faced me with a hand on the wall next to my head.

"Do you fancy coming to this party with me next weekend?" "I'm sorry but I have a boyfriend." "So?" He smirked, I giggled. "I ca-" "I'm joking, nothing has to happen. Just come out with me?" "I'll think about it, text me?" "I will." He smiled.

"Bye." He pressed his lips onto my cheek and then moved back. I watched him leave then a pair of head lights caught my attention. I smiled as Cody got out of his car. "Who was that?" "Cameron." "You met him?!" "No, no, no! Cameron Dallas." "Well that's alright then." He smiled and kissed my lips.

"Oh wait, you can't come in." I stopped him before he opened the front door. "Why not?" "Dad said we should spend some time apart." "Wha- Why?" "Just climb up the tree and onto my balcony, I'll go up there and let you in. I'll explain then." I kissed him once more and walked into the house.

"Hi Daddy." I walked past the kitchen. "Hey." He greeted back, I ran up the stairs and opened my balcony doors. "It's so cold out there." He said as he walked in and sat on my window seat. I closed the doors and sat on the other side of my window seat.

"So Trey made up loads of things about last night and Dad believes him and thinks we should spend some time away from each other." "Oh right, is he mad at me too?" "He didn't say. I'm not sure, he didn't seem mad but I don't know why he's saying this if he's not mad at you so you know." I shrugged.

"I don't think it's fair." I crawled inbetween his legs and kissed his lips. "It'll be okay." He said before connecting our lips again. It started to heat up, Cody picked me up and put me down on the bed. "We haven't done this in a long time." He pointed out before re-joining our lips.

I felt his hand slide up my leg and then he pulled away from me. "Why do you have a bikini on?" He pulled at the bow on my hip. "Because I went to the beach." "With Alli?" "Yes." "Who else?" "Madison." "Any boys?" "Cameron and Nash." I told him, he got off me and sat next to me.

"Why?" "Why what?" I sat up too. "Why didn't you tell me?" "Why do I have to tell you when I hang out with my friends?" "Because you're walking around practically naked with other guys around you." "I was not naked!" I got up off the bed.

"I said practically." "That's not your problem, is it?" "No because you're not going again." "Excuse me?!" I put my hands on my hips and tapped my foot on the floor. "I said you're not going again." "Who made you the boss of me?!"

"I don't want my girlfriend with other guys." "I don't want to be told what to do." He didn't say anything for a while, I sat back down. "Look, I'm sorry, okay? It's just that you're really hot- No you're so beautiful and every guy wants you." "You don't know that." I told him.

"I do." We looked at each other. "Because they'd be crazy if they didn't. And that's why I don't want to run the risk of you wanting any of them too." "I'd never want anyone but you." "Thats good then." He smiled, I leaned in. Cody put his forehead on mine.

"Lauren?!" I heard my Dad as he walked up the stairs. "Oh shi-" "In the closet!" I shoved Cody towards the closet, he went in and closed the door behind him. "I have your washing here." He held it up. "Thank you." "Want me to put it in your closet for you?" "No!" I jumped infront of the doors.

"I mean. No. Thank you. I'll put it all away." I faked a smile. "Lauren, what's going on?" "Nothing." I smiled innocently. "I'm just about to make dinner." "Okay." He put the things on the bed. "Oh and you can ask Cody if he's hungry too." He smirked at me.

"I- Uh- He-" "Cody, get out here." Cody opened the closet door. "I was just- Um-" "Yeah yeah.." Dad laughed. "Are you hungry?" "Uh- Yeah." "I want nothing to happen when I'm downstairs, okay?" He looked between us both, I nodded.

"No promises." Cody looked at me, I rolled my eyes. Dad laughed and walked out. "Just don't get caught this time." He added with chuckle, Cody laughed. I glared at him. "What?! He said it, not me!" "It's not funny!" "Okay, I know, I'm sorry." He kissed my forehead.

"You don't mean that." I pushed him back and began to put away my clothes. After dinner we got ready for bed and then got into bed. We watched a movie and cuddled in bed. "Cody?" I looked at him. "Do you think I should go to this party I was invited to on friday?"

"Who invited you?" "Cameron. It's a house party and I'm not sure whether to go because you know?" "I think you should do whatever makes you happy." "Will you come and pick me up?" "I will." "Don't bring me here if I'm drunk." "Do not get drunk." He turned dead serious.

"Okay, okay." "I'm telling you, do not get drunk." "Alright.." "Lauren, promise me?" Before I could say anything Lilly came in. "Hey princess!" She crawled under the blankets with us. "I'm not sleepy so I wanted to play what you guys are playing." She looked between us.

"We're not playing anything." I said. "Yes we are, we're playing 'put Lilly back in her bed'!" Cody got out of bed and swung her over his shoulder as he carried her out of the room. I sighed and closed my eyes.

"As we were.. Promise me you won't dri- Aw." He cut himself off, he thought I was sleeping obviously. Cody turned the fairy lights off and got into bed. "I love you." He whispered before kissing my cheek and then settled down next to me. I'm seriously in love with this guy.
