Chapter 47
03:11, 22 March 2014My alarm woke me up, I groaned and rolled onto my side to pick it up and shut it off. I had a text from Cody, recieved at two this morning. Why was he up that late?
Cody: I'm really sorry for being such a jerk, please don't stay mad at me. I love you xxxx
Wow. Okay so I have to get on with getting ready now. I quickly got into the shower and then dried my hair and body once I was out. I tied my hair into a messy ponytail and applied some light makeup. I put on some plain, black leggings and a cream, knitted sweater.
I took my bags downstairs before quickly looking around my bedroom once more for anything I might of forgotten to pack. Nope, got it all. There was a knock at the door, I went to answer it. "Hello Miss Miller, I've come to collect you and your luggage." Brad greeted me.
"Well hello Mr Simpson. I can carry myself but my luggage is right there." I pointed to it. "Get in the car, I'll take these." Brad told me, I nodded and did as I was told. "Where is everyone?" I asked as Brad got into the car. "We're getting a cab to the airport, they're at home." "Oh right."
"My boy is worried about you." "I know." "He was pretty annoyed and upset when he came home last night." "I know that too." I looked out the window as I saw the sun just coming up. "You don't want to talk about it?" "I don't think there's much to talk about." "Well you could start with why he was mad."
"He doesn't want me to be a model." "You're going to be a model?!" "I don't even know yet, he read the contract I was given and went mental over nothing." "Oh right." "What do you think about me being a model?" I asked.
"I think that as long as you're happy and comfortable then you should be able to do what you wanna do." I smiled at what he said. "Thank you." We pulled up on the drive, I got out and Brad got my suitcase. I walked inside the house and went to find Alli.
"What's up girl?!" I walked into her room. "Hey!" "You excited to see Jakey?" I pushed her playfully. "I can't wait, he said we're going to go out to dinner while we're there." She grinned. "Aw! Is that your first proper date with him?" I sat on her bed. Alli nodded.
"So you're gonna have to help me get ready and keep Cody from ruining it." "Of course, it's what I'm here for." "I just can't wait t-" "Alli, are you taking your laptop?" Cody walked into her room. "Oh, hi Lauren." He said awkwardly. "Hey." I smiled.
"No I'm not, are you not packed yet?"Alli asked. "Yeah! Of course I am." "You do know we leave in a half hour." "Oh god." Cody closed the door quickly. "I'm just going to go and talk to him." I said as I got up and walked out, I went to Cody's room and walked in.
"So by yes you really meant no?" I asked him. There was clothes all over his bed, his wardrobe was open with clothes still in it and his suitcase had nothing in it. "I don't know what I need and how many of what I need." He looked around the room, I let out a small laugh.
"It's not funny, I'm not good at this." Cody sighed, I walked over and wrapped my arms around his stomach from behind him. I leaned my head on his back and kissed him. "Want me to help you?" "I thought you didn't like me?" He turned around, I wrapped my arms around his neck as his wrapped around my waist and pulled me closer to him.
"I do. I was just mad." "Hmm." He hummed. "What?" "Have you thought about the contract?" "I don't want to make you mad today." I kissed his nose and broke free from his grip. "You need a few shirts, a few pairs of pants or the equivilent. A few swimming trunks and some smart stuff to wear in case we all go out." "Or if we go to dinner." He held me from behind. "Or that."
Once Cody was packed he took his suitcase downstairs, I went down too and soon enough we left the house. "Can we get a starbucks before we board the plane?" I asked. "Yeah, let's go." Cody grabbed my hand. "Mom, we're just going to starbucks quickly." "You have ten minutes. Don't draw attention to yourself either" She said, we nodded and ran off.
"What do you want?" "Can I have a mocha frappuccino, please?" I asked, Cody nodded. We ordered and waited for our name to be called. "Cody Simpson?!" The person called, pretty much every girl turned around. "We should of thought that through." I started to giggle.
Cody grabbed the drinks and we started to walk away quickly, fans started following us. "We're gonna have to run." Cody grabbed my hand and we started to run, all the fans started running too. Oh no. We arrived to where the others were stood.
"Guys, we have to go." Cody panted, Brad turned around and saw the group of girls. "What did I tell you, Cody?!" Angie asked annoyed. "I'm sor-" "We have no time." Brad said and we all started hurrying towards where we go to board our private jet.
When we eventually got on the plane we all relaxed. I sat on Cody's lap with my back leaning against the window and legs over his lap. "So how did you get noticed?" Angie asked, still sounding annoyed at us. "It wasn't our fault, I forgot and told the guy my name and then when he called it to say my coffee was ready everyone turned around." Cody explained.
"You should of thought about that, Cody." "I'm sorry!" "Calm down." I whispered in his ear. "Are we staying in the same hotel as last time?" Tommy asked, Brad nodded. "But this time Cody and Lauren have their own suite." "We do?" I quickly lifted my head from Cody's shoulder.
"Yeah, didn't you know?" "No." "Cody said he was going to tell you." We all looked at Cody. "He was going to tell her when we got there." Cody said, I laughed. "Well I know now." I tapped his nose. "We have a hot tub again." Cody told me, I smiled.
"What's so exciting about that?" Tom asked. "You'll learn when you get older." Cody reached over and ruffled his hair. "So how come we have our own this time?" I looked at Cody. "I wanted suite with just us." "Why?" "You know." He said quietly with a smirk.
I looked over at everyone else, they weren't listening to us. "What happened to our bet?" "Oh I'll win that but after that's over." I laughed at him. "I could go on for ages without it." "You couldn't." Cody teased. "This week is going to be so fun!" I leaned back onto Cody. "I know!"
We were in the car heading to our hotel, Cody and Tom were asleep. "Don't let Cody meet any girls this time." Alli warned, I laughed but then got serious. "No. He should of learned and he should know that he's not going to be forgiven if he does it again."
"Good. I'm going to see Jake once I'm unpacked." "Bring him to the beach?" "Okay, Ryan's going to be there too." "Who?" "Ryan McCarthy." "Who's that?" "You haven't met Ryan?" Alli seemed shocked, I laughed. "Nope, haven't met him before."
"Oh, he's one of Jake and Cody's friend." "Well I guessed that. Is he hot?" Alli laughed at my question, I giggled too. "Yeah he is." "But that shouldn't matter to you." I heard Cody's voice, I turned to look at him. "I was just wondering." I smiled innocently as we all got out of the car.
"Busted!" Cody picked up his suitcase. "Well at least I didn't kiss him." I picked mine up. "That's not even funny." Cody walked inside the hotel, I turned to look at Alli. She burst out laughing, I did too. "Oops." I laughed.
"Have fun getting him to talk to you for the next few hours." Brad laughed as he walked inside too, we all followed him. "Simpson." Brad told the woman his name. "Oh yes, you have two rooms. How many keys do you need?" "Can we have three for the penthouse and.."
Brad turned to look at me, asking me how many keys Cody and I wanted. "Oh.. Uh.. Two, please." I smiled. Once he had been given the keys Brad handed me mine and Cody's. "You'll have to find him too." Brad looked around, I did too.
"I'll text him the room number and tell him to come when he's ready. He needs space." I shrugged and walked to the elevator. Once I got into the room I threw the room keys on the dining table and walked into the bedroom to start unpacking.
After I was finished I got changed into my bright green bikini with a shirt over it. I heard a knock at the door. Hopefully it's Cody. I opened the door to find Jake, Alli and what I'm guessing is Ryan. "Oh. Hi guys." I said quietly and walked into the mini kitchen thing.
"Has he not come back yet?" Alli asked as they all followed me in. "Oh yeah, he's standing right there." I pointed to an empty space. "Don't get mad at me." Alli defended herself, I sighed. "I'm sorry, I just feel really bad." "It's his own fault for doing what he did, Lauren." Jake comforted.
"What did he do?" Ryan asked us. "He cheated on her." Alli told him, I nodded. "I'm so sorry." "It's fine." I shrugged. "Mom, dad and Tom went out to get groceries." Alli told me. "Alright, will they get us stuff too?" I asked. "Ask them to." She suggested.
I went to get my phone and texted Angie, I walked back into the kitchen. "So, Lauren, when you got changed did you forget to put on some pants?" Jake asked, I looked down at my legs and laughed. "No, we were going to go down to the beach so just threw a shirt on." I shrugged. There was another knock at the door.
I went to answer it, this time it was Cody. "Hey." I said softly, he just pushed past me and walked into the bedroom. I waited for him to come back out again. "Why would you say that?! I thought you'd gotten over it? Seriously Lauren! Are you just asking for trouble?!" He shouted at me.
Jake, Alli and Ryan walked out of the kitchen. "Oh, hey guys." He lowered his voice again. "We were just going down to the beach. Are you guys coming?" Jake asked, I nodded. "No." Cody said, I looked at him. "Come on, just come. Forget I ever said anything." I sighed.
"No. And that means you're not going either." "You're not in charge of what I do." "I don't care. You're not going." "Watch me." I turned to walk towards the door. Cody caught my wrist and held me tightly. "Cody! Let go!" I struggled from his grip.
"Alright well, we're gonna go.." Alli said awkwardly. "Bye." Cody smiled at them. As soon as the door closed I turned around and pushed Cody away from me. "What gives you the right to tell me what I can do or where I can go?!" "What gives you the right to bring up mistakes I made ages ago?!" Cody faught back.
"The fact that you cheated on me!" I walked past him, he grabbed my wrist and pulled me back. "Don't walk away from me!" "Don't touch me." I pushed him backwards and walked towards the hotel room door. "Where the hell do you think you're going?" He stopped me by pushing the door closed with his hand.
"Away from you. I don't want to be around you when you're like this." I pulled the door and walked out. I went to meet the others at the beach. I noticed Alli and Jake sat together on the sand, they were eating ice-cream and being really cute. I smiled at the happy couple.
"Hey guys!" I chimed as I sat next to Alli. "Hey." Alli smiled. "You got out alive then?" Jake joked. "It was a close call but yes." I went along with it, they both laughed. "Where's Ryan?" I looked around. "He had to go home." "Oh right, what are you guys doing for dinner tonight?"
"We were going to get some fast food and chill tonight." Jake said. "Let me guess, just you two?" I asked, knowing the answer. "Yeah, sorry." "It's fine, I'll just have to do something with Cody." I shrugged. Jake laughed. "What?" I asked.
"You're supposed to wanna spend time with him." "Well would you want to spend time with him?" "Did he hurt you?" "Well he hurt my wrist but it's fine now." "Has he ever like really hurt you, purposly hurt you." "What? No!" I defended him. "He'd never do that." I added.
"Good." "You would tell us if he did?" Alli asked, I nodded. "Of course I would tell you. You guys know him though, he'd never physically hurt me." I hugged my knees. After we'd talked for a while it was starting to get late so we went back to the hotel. I didn't want to go back and start fighting again but I knew it would only get worse with time.
I walked in and quietly closed the door behind me. "Cody?" I called him.. Nothing. "Cody?!" I called slightly louder but still nothing. Right. I went into the bathroom and turned on the water, there was a knock on the bathroom door. Cody opened the door and leant against the door frame.
"Do you wanna come in the hot tub with me?" He asked calmly, I nodded and turned off the water. I walked past him, he stopped me. "What?" I asked. He kissed my lips softly and then leaned his forehead onto mine. "I'm sorry for everything." He kissed me once more and then stood up to his normal hight.
"For everything?" "First of all for making the worst mistake of my life by kissing another girl, then for forgetting why you were dressed up, for saying you're not my mother, for being a jerk about the contract and then for overreacting, shouting at you and trying to control you earlier." He explained.
"Let's go." I kissed his bare chest and walked out onto our balcony. I looked out at the ocean, Cody came and stood next to me. "It looks so beautiful from up here." I confessed. "So beautiful." I noticed Cody wasn't looking at the beach, he was looking at me.
"Stop!" I giggled and faced away from him. Cody span me around in circles. "Nooo! Put me down! I feel sick!" Cody did as I said. "Turn the bubbles on." I instructed him. "No, you." "No, you." I folded my arms. "Just do it." Cody moaned, I laughed.
"You're supposed to do this because you're a guy." I moaned as I walked over to the thing and bent down to turn it on. "Okay, which switch?" I asked, Cody didn't answer. "Cody?!" I raised my voice. "Huh?" He sounded completly out of it. I stood up and faced him with my hands on my hips.
"Stop looking at my butt." I scolded. "I wasn't looking at anything." He smirked and walked towards me. "And I couldn't not look at it, it was just there." "That's the reason you told me turn it on isn't it?" I asked, Cody stopped when his body was inches away from mine.
"Might of been." "Cody.." "I have to get my fun from somewhere." He smiled and kissed my shoulder, I let him do it as I wrapped my arms around his neck. Cody placed his hands on my waist as he moved to my neck. I moved my head backwards so he could do it more.
I let out a small moan as he sucked on the sweet spot of my neck. "Cody.." I moaned. "Hmm?" He hummed. "Let's go to bed." "But I thought.." He trailed off as he lifted his head. "You, Mr, are good at this!" I pushed him and got into the hot tub. "So no bedroom?" Cody got into the hot tub too.
"Nope. Nice try." I sat on his lap with a leg either side of him, facing him. "It was, wasn't it." He scrunched up his face, I laughed and splashed him. "If I give in first what's the outcome? Other than sex." He grinned at me, I giggled.
"Too many hormones, boy." I tapped his nose. "Pleeeeease." Cody moaned and moved his hips so I jumped up and down which made me laughed. "Cody, stop!" I giggled. "Come on, please." He got up and placed me on the seat before crashing his lips into mine.
I kissed him back, he was rough but tender at the same time. "Let's go inside." He whispered, his lips gently brushed against my ear as his hot breath hit my neck. It was soooo tempting. "I want you, Lauren." He added with a low voice.
I wrapped my arms around Cody's neck, he picked me up and carried me out of the hot tub. He crashed into the wall and kissed me against it. "You need to turn the bubbles off." I reminded. "I don't have to do that right now." He said and continued kissing me.
He wrapped his arms around me again as he carried me into the bedroom and then threw me onto the bed. Just before he could join me on the bed I pushed him up with my foot. "Go turn it off." I told him, he rolled his eyes and walked out of the bedroom.
Cody walked back in pretty quickly after. "Down boy." I noticed the bump in his swimming trunks. Cody looked down and laughed before joining me on the bed. Cody untied my hair and threw the hairband on the floor.
"Are you sure you want to lose this bet, to me?" I ran my fingers down his chest teasing him. "Yes." leaned down and connected our lips, this time it was softer and more gentle. "Told you I would win." I moved away from him. "I couldn't care less." Cody began to kiss my neck again.
