Chapter 43

I woke up to an empty bed.. Great. Love that. Not. Anyways I got up and got ready for the day, I put on some skinny jeans and a one of Cody's hoodies so I could hide all my cuts which were all over my body. I then left my hair to fall naurally and applied my makeup and perfumes.

I checked twitter, Cody was right. Everyone in my mentions were worried about me, I decided to just tweet something for everyone instead of answering people individually.

After that I rung Jake and then I rung Justin. Once I was done on the phone I went downstairs to get some food. I was greeted by Tommy. "What's up dude?" I looked through the cupboards. "Where is everyone?" I asked. "Dad's outside in the garden and mom took Alli to work and Cody to the mall." He said.

"Really?" "Yeah, I'm bored." He sighed, I started to make a sandwich. "I have an idea." I started, Tommy's face lit up. "If you go and get it set up after I'm done with my sandwich we can play some video games." I smiled, he ran off into the living room.

Once I had finished eating I went and joined him and we played a few games. About an hour later Cody came into the house with bags. "Where's mom?" Tom asked. "She went back to stay with Alli." He walked upstairs. "What's up with him?" Tommy asked, I shrugged.

"I got no idea." "Maybe you should go find out." I laughed at him. "Whatever you say." I got up and started to walk up the stairs. Cody stopped me. "Don't, just stay downstairs." He said from the top. "Why?" "I don't want you wasting your energy." I rolled my eyes and walked outside.

I sat down on the swing bench and watched the little ripples in the pool. Cody joined me. "You know, I'm not a baby. I'm able to walk up a few steps." I looked at him. "I don't want you getting hurt any more and I'm just scared you're going to do something else to hurt yourself."

"But Cody, if you keep restricting me I'm never going to get strong again." I pointed out. "And anyway last night you were being rough with me, what's changed?" I looked back at the pool. "When I woke up this morning and saw you sleeping. That changed it."

"What?" "You looked so peaceful and delicate." He watched my face. "And I just never want you hurt." "If you don't get hurt, you never learn." I said as I turned to look at him. "So what did you learn from this?" "Never let Cody drive Trey's car." I smirked, Cody let out a small laugh as he looked away.

"You're special, you know that?" "I do." I leaned my head on his shoulder, Cody layed down with his head on the arm of the bench. I layed inbetween his legs with my head on his stomach. "I don't have to go later, just say the word and I'll stay." He said.

"You have to go, it'll be good for you." I ran my fingers up to his knee and then back down again as Cody watched me. "But will it be good for you?" "I'll be fine, your mom will look after me and then when she goes I'll have Trey." "Oh good." He said sarcastically.

"Trey is able to take care of me." I defended him. "Hmm." He hummed, I rolled my eyes. "I thought you guys like each other now?" "You don't know what he's like when you're not there. He's awful." "But I swear you get along? I swear you went to his room the other day to talk to him and he let you drive his car and stuff."

"He turns it on and off, it all depends on his mood. I just can't get over what he said to me the other day." "What was it?" "Uh- nothing." He sounded like he regretted saying that. "Cody.." "It's not important, I'm not here to turn you against your brother." "I want to know what he said to you."

"He just said..You know what, don't worry." He pushed me up and got up, I watched him walk inside and slam the door after him. "Woah." I said to myself and layed down again. I had no energy and it was only early afternoon, I decided to take a nap.

I was woken up by being lifted up. I rested my head on the nearest thing and went back to sleep only to be woken up again by being put down. "Mom, I don't want to go. I don't want to leave her." I heard Cody's voice. "You're going." Angie told him.

"Should I wake her up to say goodbye?" Please say yes.. "It's up to you, do whatever." I heard a door close. I felt Cody press his lips agains my temple and then pull blankets over me. "I love you, baby." He whispered before leaving the room as well.

As soon as the door closed I opened my eyes and got up, I opened the door which made Cody turn around. "Don't go." I begged him as I wrapped my arms around his neck. Cody held my waist tightly. "Baby, I have to go." "No, please stay." I pleaded, tears started to form in my eyes.

"You told me I should go, you're right. It's going to be okay, I promise." He kissed my forehead and turned around. I followed him downstairs with tears in my eyes, I said goodbye to everyone else. Angie and I stood together as they walked outside with their suitcases.

The front door shut, I hugged Angie and started to cry. "Hey, it's only two weeks." She comforted me, I shook my head. "Why did I have to tell him to go?" I asked. I heard the front door open again. "Cody!" I heard Brad and Alli shout.

He wrapped his arms around me one last time. "I'll call you when I land and I'll skype you tonight, I love you so much." His voice was shakey. I held onto his shirt tightly. "I love you." I said as Cody conected our lips, I kissed him back. "Alright, Codes. That's enough." Angie stopped us.

I watched as he closed the door once again, I didn't say anything. I walked into the living room and dropped onto the couch. Angie followed me into the room and sat down on the arm of the couch. "How about I make some of your favorite brownies?" She suggested.

"And we can eat whatever you want for dinner tonight." She added. "Okay." I sniffed, she kised my head and walked out. I went to get Cody's blankets and curled up on the couch with them, I put on a movie and Angie and I watched it together.

After we were finished with dinner I had a shower and then got straight into bed, I opened up Cody's laptop and went on twitter. After a while Cody skyped me, I answered the call. "Hey." I smiled. "Are you alright?" He asked me, I nodded.

"Good." "How was the flight?" "It was okay, we're just on the bus right now." He looked over at something and then back to me. "I've only got ten minutes becuase we're doing a ustream in a bit." "That's okay." "Are you sleepy?" "Yeah. I don't know why though, I was asleep earlier." I shrugged.

"Your body is healing, it takes energy to do that." I layed down as Buddy jumped onto the bed and cuddled up to me. "Buddy says hi." I smiled at the dog. "Hi Bud." He smiled. "Can anyone else see me?" I asked, Cody looked from side to side.

"Nope, why?" "Because I'm really hot." I got up and took off my shirt. I only had that and underwear on so I had to make sure. I got back into bed and covered myself with the blankets, Cody had a smirk on his face. "You're too much of a tease." He said, I laughed.

"What's she doing?" I heard Justin, he came and sat next to Cody. "Stirling!" "Miller! How are you chick?" "Getting better, thank you. How are you?" "I'm all good, no teasing my man over here. It's not fair on the poor dude." He ruffled Cody's hair, I laughed.

"Justin!" Cody pushed him off playfully, they both looked up as if they were listening to someone. "Alright.. Baby, I have to go now." He looked back at me, I nodded. "Okay, I'll talk to you tomorrow, yeah?" "Yeah, I'll ring you before I go on stage." "Alright."

"I love you, have a good sleep." "I love you too." "Night." "Night." He hung up, I closed the laptop and cuddled Buddy. I felt my eyelids get heavier as I stared into the blackness of the room. It wasn't long before I fell asleep.
