Chapter 39
02:08, 5 March 2014"Baby, wake up." I felt someone shaking me, I opened my eyes quickly and sat up. "Are you okay?" Cody asked worried. I was in a hot sweat and really dizzy. "I can't breathe." I took deep breaths, Cody put his hand in my forehead.
He got out of bed and put his pants on, he threw his shirt at me. "Put this on, and these." He threw some underwear at me. "Where are you going?" I watched him walk out of the room. "To get your mom." I quickly got dressed and layed down on the bed.
My heart was beating so fast, I was cold but sweating and feeling really sick. "Hurry up." I started to cry, it's scary feeling like this. "She's just coming, Lon." Cody turned the light on as he came back into the room. "I think I'm going to be si-" Too late..
"Oh god. Sarah!? She's just been sick." He walked to the doorway, my mom rushed into the room. "Take her into bathroom and sit her down by the toilet. Sit with her." Mom said, Cody helped me up. "I'm sorry, it's on your shirt." I looked at him.
"Arms up, baby." He pulled his shirt off of me, I covered myself as he walked out of the room. "Why does she have no clothes on?" "She was sick on my shirt." Cody walked into the bathroom and slid his hoodie onto me. He sat down on the edge of the bath.
"I don't feel well." I rested my head on his knee. "I know you don't, baby." He leaned down and kissed my head before stroking my hair. "Stay with me today." I looked at him. "I'm not leaving you when you're like this." My teeth started chattering.
"How are you cold? You're sweating." He wiped my forehead. I shrugged. "I've changed the sheets and put a bowl by the side of the bed just in case, alright?" Mom was stood by the door of the bathroom. "Thank you mom." I got up and walked to her.
I gave her a hug and then plopped onto the bed. I covered myself with the blankets. "Baby, you can't have them. You're boiling." "No, I'm cold." I held onto the blankets while Cody tried to pull them off me. "Fine." He walked round to his side of the bed.
I cuddled up to him, he removed the blankets off of me. "How did you know to wake me up?" I asked him. "You were practically screaming and you kept moving and shivering." "I'm sorry." "No, it's not your fault." I ran my fingers over his chest.
Cody fell asleep again after a while but I couldn't sleep. I got up and went downstairs, I made myself a drink and walked into the living room. I found Lilly asleep on the couch with the tv on, I placed my drink on the side. I picked Lilly up and sat down placing her in my lap.
I changed the channel and watched tv. I heard someone coming down the stairs, Cody walked into the living room. "You're just gonna leave me all alone up there?" "I couldn't sleep, I found this on the couch." "Lemme take her to bed." He picked her up.
"No, leave her." I reached for her. He ignored me and left the room, I rolled my eyes. Cody came back down and sat next to me, I watched him as he watched the tv. "Lose something over here?" Cody looked at me, I shook my head.
He lifted me onto his lap, I wrapped my arms around his neck. "I like your hair like this." I ran my fingers through it. "It's all floppy." I played with it, he laughed. "I like you like this." He cupped my face. "No makeup, natural hair, basic clothes." He looked me up and down.
"Your hoodie is too short, you can see my underwear." I looked down. "I don't care." Cody pulled out the band of my underwear, he let go of them and watched them ping back. He looked up at me, I rested my forehead on his.
Cody's hands caressed my butt as he started to kiss my neck. I leaned my head backwards and moaned lightly. "Shh." He put his finger on my lips. I pulled on the neck of the hoodie as Cody's hands moved up my back and held my waist securely.
I moved my hips against his. "Not here." He held onto me to stop me moving. "I know you want to." I kissed his lips. "What makes you think that?" He started to kiss my chest. "I can feel it." I smirked, Cody looked at me. "Can't controll that though." He said, I giggled.
"I can." I put my head on his bare shoulder and traced my fingers up and down one of his V-lines. Cody put his head back as I did it. "You like that?" I asked, he groaned. I stopped doing it. "Is that a yes?" Cody put my hand back, but lower.
"I can't do anything like that here." I moved my hand. "No one has to know." He held my hand again, I shook my head. "Just with your hand." He placed it back there. He threw his head back in pleasure as I did what he wanted me to do.
There were noises coming from the stairs, I quickly jumped up. Cody did the same and did up his pants. We both walked out of the living room. "Why are you two up at this time?" Trey asked. "We couldn't sleep." Cody said. "Why do you look so guilty?" He looked between us.
"Why are you up so early?" I put Trey in the spotlight. "I was just uh.. Going to uh.. Work." He pushed past us. "You don't leave for work until half eight, it's only half seven." Cody out-smarted him. "And you don't work today." I added to it.
"Oh yeah.." He laughed nervously. "I'm uh.. Going to meet friends." He smiled and opened the front door. "Why so early?" "Because we're going out for breakfast." "Who?" I asked for names. "Ja..Jason." "Jason's out of town." I folded my arms.
"Fine, with a girl." "A breakfast date, is it?" Cody smirked. "Hey man, if you're messing my sister about and then fucking her then I can meet girls." He said harshly and left the room. "Wow.." I looked at Cody. "I ain't even mad." He held his hands up and walked upstairs.
I laughed at him and walked into the kitchen. I started to make breakfast for everyone as I knew mom and dad both had work today and would be down soon. "What did you go upstairs for?" I asked Cody as he walked into the room.
"I thought I better put some more clothes on and so should you." He passed me some sweat shorts. I put them on quickly. "You haven't put anything else on?" I looked him up and down. "I didn't have anything under my pants." "Oh yeah." I laughed, my dad walked in.
"I'm glad you do now." He smiled at Cody, I laughed awkwardly. "You're making breakfast!" Dad changed the subject. "Yeah, for all of us before you and mom go to work." "Are you feeling okay now?" He put his hand on my forehead.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I started to dish up onto five plates. Mom walked into the room carrying Lilly, she passed her to Cody and put all her things on the island. "Why isn't she dressed and why is she like asleep?" I looked at her.
She was basically asleep on Cody's shoulder and still in her onsie. "We have a question to ask you." Dad watched me dish up. "What?" I turned to look at him. "Can you babysit her today?" "All day?" I moaned.
"Only until we get home from work." "Ask Trey." I passed everyone a plate. "He's out with his friends and he said he's not going to be back until tomorrow." Mom said, I looked at Cody with wide eyes. Cody gave me the same look.
"What?" Mom and dad asked at the same time. "He's gonna get it." "Cody!" I scolded, he laughed and shoved food in his mouth. "He's with a girl." I told them. "Girlfriend?" They asked, I shrugged. "Probably, he had made extra effort with his image today and he had on more collogne."
"He's having fun tonight." Dad said, Cody and him high fived. "Steve!" My mom scolded. "You girls just don't get it." Cody told us. "I don't want to get it, stop being boyish." I said. "Especially infront of my six year old sister." I took her off of him.
"We'll look after her today as long as you pick something up for me?" Cody looked at dad, I gave him a weird look. "Sure, what do you want?" "Just something from the pharamcy." He gave dad a look. "Oh right." He understood what he wanted, I did too.
"Good code, Cody. Good code." I tapped his chest, he laughed. "Alright, we're off." Mom put her dish in the sink, dad did too. "Bye." I smiled, Mom kissed mine, Cody and Lilly's cheek before grabbing her things and leaving out the door. Dad did the same but missed out Cody.
"Now what?" I asked. "She needs to go to bed." Cody took Lilly from me and walked out, I started to wash up the dishes. After a while I felt Cody's arms wrap around my stomach and his chin on my shoulder. "Can you dry up and put them away?" I asked.
"Can't you just leave them there to dry?" "No, get going." Cody ignored me and kissed my neck. "Is that your way out of everything?" "Pretty much." He continued, I pushed him back hips. "You're gonna have to learn some new tricks then." I smiled and dried my hands.
Cody sighed and started to dry the dishes. I went back to my bedroom and noticed Lilly was tucked into the bed. Carefully I got into bed with her and cuddled up to her. "You put her in the wrong bed." I said as Cody walked in with a pile of dvds in his hands.
"Why do you have all those?" I sat up. "Because you're not feeling well and we're baby sitting a sleeping baby." "She's not going to be asleep forever." "No, she can watch with us when she wakes up." He set them down on my window seat and layed them out.
I watched as he put the first dvd in the tv and then came and got into bed on the other side of Lilly. Lilly and I cuddled up to him he wrapped his arm around me and kissed Lilly's head. "Does your mom know you're staying here?" "Shh, don't worry about that." He kept his eyes on the tv.
During the second dvd Lilly finally woke up. She cutley wriggled around to get comfortable, we both laughed at her. She climbed onto Cody's lap. "Why are we all in Lauren's bed?" She asked. "You were sleeping." "I know that, silly." She hit his chest playfully, I giggled.
"Well, silly, your sister and I are looking after you today." "You're sillier than me." "You're the silliest." "That's not a word!" Lilly giggled and sat back on the bed. "Neither is sillier." "It is." Lilly nodded. "Use it in a sentence then?" Cody tested.
"You're sillier than me." She folded her arms. "Go on, Lill!" I have her a high five. "Just like your big sister, aren't you?" Cody tapped her nose, Lilly scrunched up her face. "Hey, Cody?" Lilly wondered. "Yeah?" "Why do you have a bumpy tummy?" She ran her hand over his abs.
"And you have two lines here." She traced down his V-lines. "When you get older you'll apreciate it." I told her, she shook her head. "You should have a smooth tummy like Lauren's." She lifted up my shirt to show him. "But she's a girl, she's not supposed to have a bumpy tummy."
She gave him a confused look and then shrugged. "Oh well." She layed down with her head on his chest, I watched as she ran her hand up and down his abs. "They're hard." She looked up at Cody. "Should think so too, worked hard for them." I laughed at him.
"Can we play with my doll house?" She sat up again. "I told you this wouldn't work once she was awake." I said to Cody. "Stay here, you need rest." He kissed my head. "Why does she?" Lilly asked. "She's sick." He got out of bed and looked around the room.
"Where's my shirt?" He asked. "In the wash?" I reminded, he shrugged. "Come on, Lilly. Let's leave Lauren to get some sleep." He held his hand out for her. "Are we playing with my dolls?" "When we get back." "Back from where?" I interrupted.
"We're going back to mine quickly, we'll be back soon." He closed the bedroom door before I could say anything, I shrugged and rolled onto my side. I felt my eye lids get heavy and soon enough I fell asleep.
The next time I woke it was dark outside, I put on some sweats and walked downstairs. I walked straight into Cody's arms, he was stood in the kitchen. "Hey, baby." He kissed my forehead. "Do you feel okay?" He looked at me, I shook my head and kept my face burried into his chest.
"Hey, while you're up. Are you feeling well enough for food?" I groaned at the thought of it. "You've not eaten a full meal in three weeks, Lauren." Dad said seriously. "What?!" Cody raised his voice, I gave dad a look. "I'm going to go now." Dad said awkwardly before leaving.
Cody spun me around to face him, I avoided eye contact. "You didn't eat because of me?" He seemed angry but concerned at the same time. "Not you, her." I looked down. "She's so skinny and so perfect." I confessed.
"Oh baby." Cody held me against his body. "I had no idea you thought this, why didn't you tell me?" He took a step back to look at me, I did everything I could not to look at him. "You never asked." I felt tears build up. Come on, Lauren, don't cry!
"You really should of said something." "It wouldn't of changed the fact that she's got a perfect figure and her face is perfectly-" "She's got nothing on you. Lauren, you're beautiful." "Why don't I believe you then?" I asked.
"Follow me." He took my hand and led me up stairs, he stopped me infront of the big mirror in my room. Cody made me stand infront of him. "Now, tell me what you don't like about your body or face or just anything." I looked myself up and down.
"You can't see my hip bones." "That's healthy." "When I sit down or bend over my tum-" "It's supposed to." Cody obviously knew what I was going to say. "I'm not as tall as her." "Any girl would love to have your body, seriously." He spun me around.
"You don't need to be a certain hight to be beautiful, you have every single feature a girl would ever ask for." "I don't look like the girls in magazines." I looked down, Cody lifted my chin. "You're not photoshopped, you don't need to be." He pressed his lips against mine.
"You don't need to lose any weight, not a single pound." "I want to look like Miley Cyrus." "No, you have a beautiful body and you'll stay that way." "I'd give anything to at least look like Selena Gomez." I said and walked to my bed. Cody followed me.
"You do." "I don't." "Lauren, I'm telling you that you do." "Unless you can prove it, I don't believe you." "Fine, where's your laptop?" I got it from under my bed. Cody opened it, I logged on and then he went onto the web. I watched as he got a picture of Selena Gomez in a bikini and then got one of me.
He put them side by side on a photo editing thing and then looked at me. "Point out a difference to me because I can't find one." "She looks more grown up." I looked at him, he laughed. "She's 21, you're 16." "I don't look like that." I pushed the laptop away.
"You do." He layed down next me. "She's stunning." I looked into Cody's eyes. "That's another thing you've got in comman." He leaned in, I waited for him to bring himself closer. "And anyway, I prefer you to be smaller than me." He got up on his hands and knees and kissed me.
I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled his body down. Cody's body hit mine, I wrapped my legs around his waist as we kissed. "Sorry for interupting," Dad walked into the room. Cody and I seperated and sat on either side of the bed.
"Do you guys want dinner?" He looked between us with a smirk. "Yeah, please." Cody looked at me. "I guess so." I sighed and layed down. "I'm gonna order some pizza." Dad walked out. "That was awkward." Cody moved closer to me. "And it's not happening again." I moved his face away from mine.
After dinner Cody went home, I got in the shower. Being ill really takes it out of you, doesn't it? Anyways, I'm in bed now going through my twitter. Everyone on my mentions were throwing all kinds of compliments at me which made me smile. I noticed Alli had tweeted me.
@allisimpson: Little Miller is a cutie, telling me all about the 'shapes' on @CodySimpson's tummy.
I smiled at it and then noticed Cody had posted a picture of him and Lilly, I retweeted it because they are adorable together. I followed some people and answered some tweets. I was on Cody's account when I noticed he'd tweeted another picture. Me asleep, damn. Payback time.
@LaurenMiller: @CodySimpson, I have sleeping pictures of you too. And worse :P #SorryNotSorry
I shut my laptop down and placed it under my bed before pulled my blankets up and snuggling into all my pillows. My door opened and then shut, Lilly climbed onto the end of my bed. "Hey." I smiled. "Can I sleep with you?" She asked, I nodded.
I lifted up the blankets for her to get under. "Your bed smells like Cody." She hid her face in what would be Cody's pillow. "I know it does." "He took me to see Brad and Angie today." She smiled at me. "Did you have fun?" "Yeah, Alli and me played and then we hided from Cody when it was home-time." I smiled at her use of words.
"You did?" She nodded with a big grin. "And I showed Alli his bumpy tummy." She giggled, I laughed at her. "What did Alli say about it?" I pulled her in for a cuddle, she played with my hair. "Well, actually I don't remember." Lilly shrugged. "Okay, well let's go to sleep now." I kissed her forehead. "Night, Lauren." She hid her face in my chest.
