Chapter 9

I woke up in Cody's arms, I smiled at him. He looked adorable while he slept. I tried to get up but Cody's grip tightened on me. "Where do you think you're going?" He asked without opening his eyes. "I was going to go outside."

"Outside's bad, inside's good." Cody told me, I laughed at him. "Why did you take so long to come in here last night?" "I was outside with my dad, your dad and Trey." "Oh, okay." "I came in here and you were completley out of it, you hadn't even made it under the blankets or up to this end of the bed."

"Really?" "Yeah, you were just laying in the middle of the bed." "I was tired." "How? You slept for a few hours on the boat." "I have no clue, I get tired really easy." "I can tell." He laughed at me, I played with his fingers while we layed in silence.

"We better get up, before people come and get us up." "Yeah." I got up and walked outside, Cody followed. "You're alive then?" My dad said as we sat down. "I was tired." I confessed. "Very." Cody added, I smiled at him.

"I smell bacon." I looked over at the barbeque. "Come get some." Brad told me, I got up and walked over to him. I grabbed a plate and Brad put a few pieces of bacon on it. I sat back down and ate a piece, Cody picked up a piece. "Wha- hey!" He smirked at me as he ate it.

"I'm going to get changed." He said and walked off, I finished my food and then did the same. I changed and tied my hair into a messy ponytail, I didn't bother with makeup though.

"Looking good." Cody said as he looked me up and down. "You know it." I winked. "Are you coming swimming?" Cody asked, I felt his arms slide around my waist. "I might do." I put my arms around his neck.

"Come swimming with me, baby?" "Are you scared of the sharks?" I smirked at him. "I'm not the one who screamed like a girl." "I am a girl." I reminded him as I pulled his head down so our faces were touching.

Cody laughed slightly and then connected our lips, he pulled me into him so our bodies were touching. "Baby?" He said against my lips. "Mm?" I asnwered still not breaking the kiss. "I love you." "I love you too." I smiled into the kiss.

I pecked his lips once more and then walked outside. "Yo, Codes. Matt's on the phone." Trey said to him. "Where?" "Your dad's talking to him at the moment." "Okay." He turned to me. "I'll be back in a few minutes." He kissed my nose and walked off.

I walked over to a sunbed and layed down in the sun. "Damn, I wish I had your body." Angie confessed as she layed on the sunbed next to me. "I bet you had it once." "And then I had three children." We both laughed.

I sat up on the sunbed after a few minutes, Cody still haden't come back. I quietly got into the water and swam out of sight, I was on the other side of the ocean to the side our platform faces. "Where are you going?" I heard Cody's voice behind me.

"What?" "I told you I'd be back in a minute." "You didn't come back so I thought you were busy, what did Matt want?" Cody hesitated. "He wanted to know something about the upcoming stuff I'm going to be doing." "Sure?" "Yup." I knew he was hiding something from me.

We swam to the sand and messed around in the shallow water for a while. "Is that Cody Simpson?" I heard someone say. "Oh no." I looked at Cody for what to do. "We need to go ba-" "OH MY GOSH IT'S CODY SIMPSON!" "Dammit!" Cody shouted.

A group of girls started running towards us. "Where do we go?" I asked, it was scary. "Take my hand and follow me!" Cody grabbed my hand and ran, I ran with him. We ran off the beach and into the town, the girls ran after us.

"What now?!" "We find somewhere to hide!" "Where?!" "I have no clue!" "Here!" I pulled us into a narrow alley. Cody put his finger on my lips as the girls ran past us, I let out a huge sigh once they'd gone.

"I forgot you were famous." I laughed, Cody laughed too. "Let's go back." Cody grabbed my hand and we began to walk back. "So what did Matt really want?" I asked. "I told you." "You lied." "I didn't." "You're lying now." "I'm not." "Are." "Shut up."

"Where did you guys go?" My mom asked. "In the ocean and then someone got a little attention." I answered. "We had do run and hide." Cody laughed. "Did you tell her about the tou-" "Shh!" Cody interrupted Brad.

"Tell me about what?" "Nothing." "Cody?!" "Lauren." I put my hands on my hips, Cody copied me. "I know you're hiding something from me." "You think." Cody corrected. "No, I know." I pushed past him and went to sit on a sunbed.

"You have to tell her, man." I heard Trey say quietly, I stayed still so I could hear what he was talking about and who to. "Not until Matt lets me bring her." Cody whispered. "She'll find out herself and she'll be madder than if you tell her."

"If I tell her, she'll be upset. Not mad." They kept there voices quiet. "So if Matt says she can't go, you just won't tell her? When you're half way across the world you just won't mention a thing." "Trey, stop. I'll tell her when I'm ready."

I tuned out after that. Half way across the world? Where's he going? Why does he need to ask Matt about me going? Why do I have to go? Why won't he tell me about this? I keep running these question through my mind, I'm so confused and worried.

"Lauren?" I heard someone's voice, they shook my hand. I opened my eyes and sat up. "Oh hey, Lill." I smiled and lifted her onto the sunbed. "Were you sleeping?" "Yes, I was." "Sorry." She appologised.

"It's okay, sweetie." "Can I ask you a question?" "Go for it." I smiled. "Where's Cody going?" "What do you mean?" "Daddy, Brad and Cody were talking about him going to Europe." "Wha-" "Hey girlies." Cody smiled as he sat at the end of the sunbed.

"Cody, can I talk to you in your room for a second?" I asked, trying to fake a smile infront of Lilly. "Sure." He smiled back, I got up and walked into his bedroom. Cody followed and shut the door behind him.

"Where are you going?" "No where?" "Don't lie to me." "I'm no-" "Tell me what Matt wanted." "I told yo-" "Stop lying, Cody!" I raised my voice. "I'm not lying to you!" "Yes you are! Lilly said you were talking to my dad and your dad about going to Europe and you and Trey were talking about Matt so tell me what you're hiding fro-" I shouted.

"I'm going on tour, Lauren!" Cody shouted louder. "I'm going on tour for a few months." He repeated, his voice was softer and quieter this time. I froze. "Where?" I asked, I started to shake my leg as I impatiently waited for the answer which I knew.

Cody looked away and then back to me, he hesitated. "Europe." I looked down. "I don't want to be that far away from you for that long." "And you won't be." "What?" "Come with me." "I can't!" "Why not?" "I have school."

"Get tutored with me and Alli!" "But mom and dad an-" "I've talked to them, we're just waiting on you and Matt." "I can go?" I asked in shock. "If Matt can get a bigger bus then yes." "Seriously?!" I couldn't believe him.

"Yes!" My smiled grew as Cody told me. "Do you want to come?" "Of course!" I jumped on him, he caught my legs. I kissed all over his face and then pecked his lips repeatidly, Cody laughed at me.

"What if Matt can't get one?" I asked as we walked along the beach hand in hand. "For the last time, Lauren. He's going to get a bigger bus!" "But what if he doesn't?" I asked. Cody gave me an unimpressed look, I giggled at him.

"They're adorable." I heard my mom coo. We both stopped walking and turned around, my mom and Angie were walking behind us. They both had smiles on their faces. "May we help you?" Cody asked. "Nope." Angie smiled at him, we rolled our eyes and kept walking.

"This place is so beautiful." I admired the beach. "The second most beautiful thing I've ever seen." "What's the first?" I asked, Cody looked at me while I figured it out. "Oh me!" "Yeah, you!" Cody laughed.

"You're so corny!" I giggled. "It's worth the cute giggles." Cody smiled at me, I smiled back and leaned my head on his shoulder. "We leave tomorrow night, can you believe it?" "No, it's gone so fast."

"What day do you leave for tour?" "We leave three days after we get back from here." "Busy, busy, busy!" "Yup!" "Life's fun for you." "You're about to find out what this side of my life is like." "I'm scared."

"What is there to be scared of?" "We're going to be seen together and what if your fans don't like me?" "They'll love you, I'll make sure of it." "I'm not sure." I confessed. "And if they don't then so what? I love you and that's all that matters."

"They need to like me." "No they don't, I date who I want. If they like you then amazing if not then so what?" "Damn, you sure have your head in a good place." I kissed his cheek and watched his lips curl into a smile.

"Trey? Can you zip me up?" I asked him as I turned my back to him. He walked over and zipped the zip up on my dress. "You look nice." Trey admired, I smiled at him and put my earrings in. "Well you know, last night."

"Look at you!" Cody kissed my cheek as he walked outside with me and Trey. I twirled around to show my dress and smiled. Lilly ran out in an adorable white dress. "Aw!" I cooed and got out my phone to take a picture.

"Do I look pretty?" Lilly asked Trey. "You're the most beautiful girl in the world!" Trey told her, Lilly grinned at him cutley and then ran off again. "She's adorable!" I said as I watched her.

"That restraunt was amazing!" "Agreed." Alli agreed with me. "I think they're a bit drunk though." Tom pointed to Brad and my dad. They were holding hands and skipping, Alli and I laughed at them. "Mom! Have you seen this?" Alli asked.

"Yes! We have a video and pictures." Angie laughed. "Where's Trey, Cody and Lilly?" I asked. "Right here!" Trey shouted, I followed his voice. They were a few meters behind us but I couldn't see them because it was dark.

When we got to the beach, I stepped onto the broadwalk but Cody grabbed my hand. "Wait." He told me. "We'll be back in a bit." "No, come back now." "No, we won't be long." Cody pulled me away.

"Cody, if you're not back in 20 minutes there will be trouble." "Yes mommy." Cody said cutely, I giggled at him. I took off my heels and we walked along the beach about 20 feet and then sat on the sand. We sat in silence to took in the beach.

"So Matt got back to me." Cody spoke up, I looked at him. "And?" "We have a bigger bus." He smiled, I jumped on him which pushed him back in the sand. "Are you excited?!" "Yes!" I pecked his lips.

"It's going to be amazing." Cody said before kissing me passionatley. "Really amazing." I spoke against his lips and then got off of him. "Hey, I liked you there." "What a shame." I said sarcastically as I stood up and grabbed my heels.

"Where are you going?" He asked, still layed down in the sand. "We have to get back." I said. "No we don't, we have like ten minutes." "Walk with me along the beach?" I held out my hand for him to get up.

We walked along where the ocean hits the sand together, hand in hand. "We have to go back now." I pointed out. "Why do you chose to be a good girl now?" "I am a good girl." "Yeah, of course." Cody sarcastically agreed. "Come on." I pulled his arm as I ran down the beach.

"On time, wow." My mom said as we walked onto the platform. "Where is everyone?" I asked. "In bed, it's half 11." "Did dad and Brad get to bed okay?" I laughed. "When they eventually let go of each other's hands." Angie laughed, Cody and I laughed too.

"I'm going to shower." "No, have one in the morning it's too late." Cody told me. "I won't be long." I kissed his neck and then walked inside. "Be quiet, Alli's sleeping!" Angie called after me. I walked inside the villa and went straight to the shower.

I followed my normal routine and then went into Cody's bedroom, he was asleep in the bed. I got into the bed trying not to wake him, I cuddled up to him. I put the tv on and turned the volume down so it was just giving light off of it.

"Hey baby." Cody whispered, I smiled at the sound of his voice. "Hey." I answered. "You smell nice." He took a deep breath in to smell me more. "Thank you." I snuggled my face into his neck, I lightly kissed it.

The second my lips touched his neck his whole body tensed up. "I found your sweet spot." I smirked. "Go to sleep, Lauren." Cody ignored. I laughed at him and settled back down, Cody's arms wrapped around me protectivly. It felt like this was meant to be.
