Chapter 9:

(RAI'S POV)

"Alright, well I'll see you guys around!" I said as I smiled. I would enjoy hanging out with them, but I needed to train more.

"Bye!" They both shouted. Kitty-Chan gave me a hug and I returned the favor. Since he was taller than me, I felt like I was getting hug by a giant. I was roughly about 4'8, and he was about 5'6. Man, why am I so short.

"Don't die okay?" Kiity-Chan said while shaking a finger in my face, I rolled my eyes but nodded.

"See you around blondey" I said while giving Temari a hug. She laughed as she wrapped her arms around me.

"Yeah, you'll see us around.. Blue." Temari said. I pulled away and waved.

"Bye now!" I said. I used my transportation jutsu and transported myself to the training grounds. Now for training.. What a dragg -.-

"Ugh. I gotta train.. and train.. AND FUCKING TRAIN. IT'S ONLY LIKE 2:45. Damn itttt. I really don't feel like training right nowwwww... Oh well gotta work on my reflexes." I complained out loud. Wow. I really don't wanna train.

Normally I don't get this lazy... Oh well ._. I started doing the hand signs for my multi-shadow clone jutsu. I see a bunch of me everywhere. You don't see that everyday.

"Alright listen up fuckers, three of you come behind me. The rest of you guys try to attack us. Give it all you got. Fight us like you really wanna kill us. Be fast too" I said getting in position. One of my clones was behind me the other two was on my left and right. We were all back to back basically.

You know what would be cool? If I can do jutsus without using hand signs... Like if I project enough charka into my mind maybe it'll work o.o That shall be for another day.

"Ready?" I asked. Everyone nodded. Half of them took out kunais, some started creating sand, some created water. I sweatdropped. I made a bunch of clones today... the day I barely wanted to do anything. Oh well.

"Yeah." My clones sighed, oh don't they sound excited c: The three that was with me, one took out a kunai. She was doing close range. One created sand, she was the defense. And one created water, defense/attack and she was gonna do long range, and me.. Well, I'm all of them put together.

"Okayyy you three try not to die." I said grabbing a kunai out of my pouch. Let the battle begin.

"Oh new record. 1 minute. 120 clones. You three didn't die. Great job." I said talking to the other three. They nodded and poofed away.

"That was an alright time I guess. Last time it was 2 minutes and 100 clones. Shaved one minute off.. Plus those three didn't die meaning our reflexes are getting better. And I added 20 more clones." I said to my self. That was pretty good I guess.

"Damn Rai that was amazing!" I hear someone yell. I looked behind me, team 8 came out of the shadows.

"Thanks Kibs! And you guys are finally home!" I said, I ran up and went to hug them all. Akamaru was asleep on Kiba's head. Aww such a cutie.

"D-did you miss us?" Hinata joked. OF COURSE I MISSED YOU GUYS! They had to go to these clan thingy, so they just got done.

"Nope not at all." I said smirking. We all laughed expect Shino. Such a killjoy .-.

"Your reflexes are getting better." Shino said.

"You really think so?" I asked. They all nodded .

"Your reflexes are already great but their getting better and faster." Kiba said. I smiled.That's exactly what I'm aiming for.

"Good."

"Next thing you know, words gonna go out saying there's an invisible ninja in team 8. Seriously if you keep on getting faster you're gonna become invisible!" Kiba exclaimed. Hinata nodded in agreement.

"It'll be good if i'm that fast!" I said. It would, I mean imagine how many sneak attacks I'll be able to do.

"Wouldn't be surprising if you fought a whole war by yourself." Hinata said.

"You guys are giving me to much credit stoppp." I said blushing a a little. Hinata started playing with her fingers and giggled. Kiba just gave me his cheeky grin. Shino of course just stared at me.

"The credit is yours to take." Shino said. I just smiled at him.

"Do you think you can train me tonight?" Hinata asked. I was thinking about going to the pond....And it is the weekend..

"Sure, we can work on your chakra control. I need to head towards the pond...Soo perfect place to practice chakra control." I said. Hinata nodded.

"Thanks Rai-Chan." Hinata said. I smiled at her.

"You're welcome Hina-Chan." I said. Normally I just call her Hinata buttt theres those random moments when I call her Hina-Chan.

"Can I train with you guys too?" Kiba asked.

"Hmm... I guess." I said. Kiba punched the air.

"ALRIGHT!" He yelled.

"I guess I'll come along." Shino said.

"Didn't you already master chakra control?" I asked. Shino nodded. AWWW LOOKS LIKE HE WANTS TO HANG OUT WITH US! I feel honored.

"Well then.. Make sure you guys stay awake!" I said. Kiba and Shino nodded. We started heading to the pond.

"Okay Hinata and Kiba focus your chakra to your feet" Hinata and Kiba nodded. They closed their eyes and started focusing chakra. Judging by the shift in the air, they're focusing chakra to the base of their feet. Good!

"Good job! Wonderful chakra control Hinata. Kiba try to stay more focus." Hinata smiled at me and Kiba nodded. Hinata was really good with chakra control, and Kiba is starting to get there.

"Now walk towards the water. Don't loose focus." They both started towards the water. Shino and I was directing them from the water.

"Don't think too much." Shino said. Kiba and Hinata started walking towards us. After about five steps Hinata starts to wobble alittle.

"Focus Hinata!" Shino said. Hinata falls into the water, Kiba starts to crack up.. Which makes him lose focus.. Which result in him falling into the water too. And then there's me.. cracking up like crazy. Expect I stay above the water.. Cause I'm fab.

"Ugh stop laughing." Kiba said swimming around. Akamaru was now awake.. and not really happy.

"Seriously Kiba?!" Akamaru growled. Kiba just rolled his eyes.

"T-that w-was fun though." Hinata said. I was still laughing, Shino just shook his head.

"IT'S NOT FUNNY." Kiba whined. Which made me laugh harder.

"Aww Kiba, you're such a little cutie." I said in a baby voice. Kiba blushed but rolled his eyes.

"I know!" He said smirking. Damn boy your ego is almost as big as Sasuke's.. Notice how I said almost? Good.

"Let's try again." Shino said. Kiba and Hinata nodded and swam to shore.

"I have a feeling this is gonna be a long night." Shino said sighing.

"It's actually morning." I said smirking. I can imagine Shino rolling his eyes.

"Yes. Whatever." He said.

Hinata and Kiba manage to walk across the whole pond. They can't run yet.. But it's an improvement.

"Man that was harsh." Kiba said falling to the ground. Akamaru laid beside him.

"I-it was." Hinata said sitting down next to Kiba. Shino and I stared at each other before sitting down next to them.

"You guys are improving rapidly." Shino said.

"Mhm next thing you know you're gonna be running across the water and climbing buildings." I said smiling at them. They smiled back. The sun was about to come up. We just sat in silence.

"You know I noticed something." Kiba said breaking the silence.

"What's that?" Hinata asked.

"Well Hinata, you hardly stutter around us anymore. Well not like you used to. Also you're actually really sassy. Who would've known right? Shino you're not as off putting as the beginning. Plus I see you cracking a smile here and there. You both broke out of your shell." Kiba said. Hinata blushed and started playing with her fingers. Shino just nodded.

"Its just that I'm more c-comfortable near you guys. I'm not a-afraid to come out of my s-shell." Hinata said. AWWWWWW.

Kiba and I looked at each other before anime crying.

"AWWW HINATA!" We both yelled as we tackled her into a hug. Hinata started giggling. Shino just stared at us.

"We're not only comrades.. We're friends.. We're family." Shino said. I smirked at Kiba and Hinata. They both nodded. We all tackled Shino into a hug.

"AWWWW SHINO! YOU ACTUALLY DO LOVE US!" Kiba yelled.

"D-don't be s-shy Shino. You can come out of your shell too." Hinata said.

"NIGGA BISH LOVES US!" I yelled. We all laughed expect Shino. He was trying to get out of our deathgrip but it didn't really help. So he just gave up.

"I would be lying if I said I didn't" Shino said. We spent a couple of hours just catching up and cracking jokes on each other before falling into a comfortable silence.

I felt something on my shoulder. Hinata fell asleep. I looked over at Kiba seeing him and Akamaru cuddling. Awwwww! Shino was still awake.

"I'm going to bring them home" I said using my sand to pick them all up. Shino just nodded.

"I'll walk with you." He said. Judging by the sun it was about 5:30 or 6. We walked through the village, dropping Hinata off first. We got to her house and Shino knocked on the door.

Someone opened the door. "Lady Hinata!" It was Hinata's guard or whatever... I forget his name.. But he looked relieved to see Hinata.

"Urm... Sorry if we worried you. We were up all night and morning training." I informed him. He nodded at us.

"You guys are part of Hinata's team right?" He asked.

"Yep that's us.. Team 8!" I said smiling. He smiled back. What a nice little fellow.

"Who's at the door?" A guy appeared... Neji? Yeah.. He's on Kosuke's team.

"Hi, we're Hinata's friend. We were out training all night. As you can tell she fell asleep soo we brought her home." I said while pointing to me and Shino. Neji looked at me warily. Probably wondering how I can control sand.

"I'll take her." Hinata's guard said. He came out and took Hinata in his arms, she stirred a bit but she didn't wake up.

"Thank you for looking after Lady Hinata." He said bowing a little then disappearing.

"What a nice fellow eh Shino?" I asked. Shino just nodded.

"You can leave now." Neji said glaring at us. Shino matched his glare before turning around.

"We need to get Kiba home." He said. I smiled and waved at Neji.. He just glared at me even more. Tch what's up with this village and glaring .-.

The village was starting to wake up. People were opening their shops, getting prepared for the day. Shino and I walked in silence, Kiba and Akamaru floating behind us. It was pretty nice. I enjoyed Shino's company.

"RAI!" I hear someone yell my name. Temari and Kankuro were running towards me.

"Hey guys." I said waving. They smiled at me and at Shino.

"Who's this?" Temari said looking at Shino and Kiba.

"This is Shino and Kiba.. The dog is Akamaru. They're my friends. Also they're part of my team. " I said.

"Ohh cool. I'm Temari." Temari said. Shino nodded at her.

"I'm Kankuro." Kitty-Chan said looking Shino over.

"I'll catch up with you guys later, gotta get Kiba and Shino home." I said, Temari and Kankuro nodded and waved. I waved back as I turn towards Shino, he was just staring at them.

"What are sand shinobis doing here?" Shino asked.

"The exams." I said. Shino nodded.

"I forgot about those.. Do you think Sensei is going to put us in it?" Shino asked.

"There's a slight chance." I replied. I wouldn't mind if sensei didn't put us in the exams, yet I wouldn't mind going through them either. So either way I was fine.

"There is." Shino said.. We got to Kiba's house. Since we didn't feel like going through that all thing with his mom we just brought him in through his window.

"Welp that's all of them." I said. We started walking towards Shino's house..

"Hey Shino, wanna come to the hideaway?" I asked. Shino never been there plus I bet Mao would be happy to see him.. *wink wink*

"Sure. I guess." He said. We turn the other way now walking towards the hideaway.

"Mao is gonna be happy to see you." I said smirking. Shino just looks ahead pretending I didn't say anything.

"And?" He asked after awhile.

"Shino seriously? .-. I know you like her, you can't lie to me." I said. Shino hesitated before answering...Which he never does.

"W-what? I don't like her like that." A small blush appeared on Shino's face...Which hardly happens.

"Mhmm suree bug boy.. sureee. That's why you're blushing" I said smirking again. Shino just sighs.

"What happens in team 8, stays in team 8." He said creepily.

"Okay creepo. I KNEW IT THOUGH!" I said dancing around. I think Shino just rolled his eyes.

"Don't worry I think she has a thing for you buggie." I said. Shino's head snapped up.

"Seriously?" He asked. He actually sounds like a normal person. My baby is growing up *wipes fake tear*

I nodded but pretended to zip my lips. "I didn't say anything though." I said. Shino didn't say anything. Probably thinking about was to approach Mao without being creepy.. But who kno- My thoughts were cut short as I bumped into someone.

"Ow, fuck." I mumbled under my breath.

"Are you okay?" Shino asked rushing by my side. I nodded and Shino helped me up.

"Next time watch where you're going." Gaara growled out.

"Okay." I spat out. Gaara just glared at me before walking away. Someone's on their man period -.-

"Goodbye to you too Panda-Kun." I said with a smirk. Gaara turned around, eyes widen but then he narrowed his eyes at me.

"You will not call me that." Gaara said.

"Awww why not?" I asked.

"Because." He said. Seriously? Because? Such a great answer.

"Okay bye bye friend." I said smiling. I'm not gonna fight right now. Too early. My sassiness gotta refuel. Kiba drained all of it out of me when we were busting each others stones. Oh well.

Gaara just glared before walking away, probably trying to find out ways to kill me. Well sorry to bust ya balls but that ain't gonna happen ._.

I forgot today we have to meet up with the Hokage and ask about the block in our mind... What a dragg.

"That was odd." Shino said. I nodded. We finally got to the hideaway.

"RAI IS THAT YOU?!" Mao yelled.

"YEAH" I yelled back. The house was a total mess. Ramen cups everywhere, Naruto and Sora was arguing, Mao was screaming shit... Like.. Shit.. She was screaming shit o.o.... and Kosuke was trying to tell everyone to shut up.

"EVERYONE SHUT THE HELL UP! SHINO IS HERE." I yelled. The whole house got silent. Mao peeked her head out of the kitchen.

"SHINO" She yelled running to hug him. She tackles him in a hug, Shino just stands there in shock before returning the hug. All of us were smirking at them. Such little cutie shits c:

"Nice to see you got home in one piece. How was training?" Sora asked.

"It was good. Shino, Hinata, and Kiba trained with me too." I said. Sora nodded.

"You guys ready? We gotta go see gramps about the block in our minds." Kosuke said. Everyone nodded.

"You think he's awake right now?" Naruto asked.

"Probably, let's go see." Mao said.

"Shino are you coming with us?" I asked. Shino thought for a moment before answering.

"If I'm welcome." He replied.

"I guess you can come. I don't see the harm in it." Kosuke said.

"YAY! SHINO YOU CAN COME SEE IF I HAVE A BLOCK IN MY MIND!" Mao yelled jumping up and down. Shino just nodded. We all sweatdropped. She hates waking up early but she has so much energy.

"I'm surprised you're still awake." I said. Shino turned towards me.

"I have my reasons." Shino said.

"And what are those?" I asked.

"Training." Shino simply answered.

"OH NO YOU'RE BECOMING LIKE RAI! TURNING EVERYTHING INTO TRAINING." Naruto yelled. I rolled my eyes and bonked him on the head.

"Ow." He said rubbing his head.

"I don't turn everything into training." I said huffing and crossing my arms. Everyone laughs expect Shino and I.

"Let's just get this over with shall we?" I said walking out. Everyone followed in pursuit.

"The Hokage will see you now" One of the guards says. We nodded.

"Looks like the Hokage is awake afterall." Naruto said.

We decided to come normally.. Not breaking through the window... or transporting ourselves. Boring if you ask me.

"Follow me." The guard said. We started following him to Gramp's office.

"You may leave." Gramps told the guard. The guard bowed and left.

"Good morning children. What brings you here this early?" Gramps asked.

"We have to talk to you about something important." Kosuke says. Gramps made a hand motions as if to say go on.

"We have a block in our mind. We don't remember shit about our pass. I don't remember what happened when I was kidnapped nor do I remember a month of us all in the sand. The sand siblings brought this to our mind. We were friends.. Yet we do not have the memories. They have the memories though. Kosuke saw them. For some reason someone erased my memories about what happen when I was kidnaped and that month at the sand. For Kosuke, Mao, and Sora they erased that month at the sand and the memories about that week that I was kidnapped. Though they kept the memory of me actually being kidnapped. We don't understand. But we want to know for sure." I ranted on. Gramp's nodded.

"I understand. Though since someone had erased Kosuke's, Mao's and Sora's memories it must've been for an important reason. For you Rai. Most likely you're kidnappers erased your memories" Gramps said.

"Exactly. Why though?" Sora said.

"I am not sure." Gramps answered.

"That's exactly why we came to you. Please we want the block out of our minds." I said.

"I don't think that'll be a good idea." Gramps said. Oh come on whyyyyy?

"Come on Gramps! Do you know how much it irks my soul that I have a block in my mind? Like what if we have some awesome shit about us that we don't know cause that damn block." Mao whined. Gramps laughed.

"I said it wouldn't be a good idea. But if you guys truly want to unravel your past then you may. If you really think you're ready to face what exactly happen then you may." Gramps said. What? What exactly happened?

"What do you mean what exactly happened?" I asked. Gramps just shook his head.

"That is for you to find out." Gramps said.

"Are you sure they're ready?" Kakashi asked. Oh shit, where did he come from? TEACH ME YOUR WAYS SENSEI!

"KAKASHI SENSEI!" Naruto and Mao yelled. Kakashi Sensei smiled at them but became serious again.

"They are strong minded. They're ready." Gramps said.

"But before the exams?" Kakashi asked. Gramps nodded.

"The note?" Kakashi questioned.

"The note said she will found out when the time is right. The time is right. They'll be okay" Gramps said..

"What note?" Kosuke asked. Gramps just shook his head.

"Kakashi inform one of the guards to tell Inoichi that he is summoned." Gramps said. "It is the safest way. Also inform each of their senseis that they will be late for training." Gramps added. Kakashi nodded before disappearing.

Currently I am placed in this stone.. pyramid.. thingy.... Which only has my head sticking out. Pretty uncomfortable if you asked me. Kosuke, Sora, and Mao were also placed in one too.

A guy who looked exactly like Ino.. Expect a guy walked in. Probably Ino's dad.

"Lord 3rd informed me about your guys situations. Please relax. This won't hurt a bit." Inoichi said. We all nodded...Well attempted too..Shino and Naruto was on the side watching us.

Inoichi created clones, the real one walked towards me while his clones went to everyone else.

"Ready?" Inoichi asked. We all nodded. Everything went black.
