Part 15

We were currently at Tyler, The Creator singing along to "See you again ", having so much fun. I think Tyler was next to lana, the best show we've seen so far.

I could feel the hot sun burning my skin. It was really hot and dry, so after Tyler was over, we instantly surched for the nearest water sprayers that were all over the Coachella grounds to cool off.

"Don't know about you guys, but Tyler was the best so far." said Chris, sitting down on the ground, seeking the coverage of a big umbrella .

"Yeah, he was good, but no one can beat Lana . Hers was way better." said Grace, following Chris onto the floor.

"Nah, you're wrong. Tyler had a way better energy. "

"But Lanas entrance and bringing Billie with her on stage was iconic."

Grace and Chris argued back and forth about who's performance was better. I keep myself out of it because, honestly, I couldn't decide they had both been amazing .

We enjoyed our time in the shadow cooling off and recharging energy before heading off to meet with Claudia and the others.

She said to meet at this lounge, but when we arrived, it was still pretty empty and no sign of Claudia or Finneas.

So we just slouched onto one of the many couches that had been set up under this big tent.

It was typical of them to be late, so I didn't worry. Instead, I decided to post on Instagram.__

"Wow, Valerie, you look so hot in that pic you posted on insta," said Grace as she scrolled through her phone.

"Yeah, and guess who took that picture?" said Chris, totally proud. I laughed, shaking my head because they always acted like little children.

Luckily, it took Finneas and Claudia not too long to finally make their way towards the tent, joining us on the couch.

I introduced Chris to Claudia and Finneas, who seemed to get along just fine. We talked for a bit , Finneas and Chris raving about Tyler's performance while Claudia , Grace, and I mostly talked about Lana del rey.

Claudia told us about how they met her backstage and how she was one of the sweetest celebrities at Coachella. Grace seemed to get pretty jealous as Claudia told us about all the people they had met so far here at Coachella.

"Oh, and before I forget." said Claudia, reaching for something in her bag, pulling out 3 wristbands. "We got you all VIP wristbands so you guys can come with us backstage later. There are always the best parties." She smiled.

Grace and Chris instantly reached for the wristbands like little children who were offered some candy.

"Oh no, you didn't have to Claudia really ."I said, feeling a little bit bad.

"Don't worry, Valerie. Billie got them . It really comes in handy being famous." Said Claudia with a laugh.

But honestly, I would have felt better if she didn't tell me that Billie got them. Still, I reached for the last remaining wristband, not wanting to give up any of the fun ahead of us.

We did split up again, though, because I really wanted to see Jungle . So we decided to meet again at 6 pm to get some dinner together.

"It's so cool that you know Finneas and Claudia. It makes our Coachella experience even better. Not that I'm using them, but still." said Chris as we made our way across the Coachella grounds to Jungle. I snorted at Chris's words.

The performance was really got, and I made Grace film me doing the Back to 74 dance, which I want to post later on Tiktok.

"Wow, dance class really seems to pay off." Laughed Chris as he watched the clip on our way to meet back up with the other.

"Seems so," I said.

This time, Claudia and Finneas were the ones waiting for us at the lounge. We argued back and forth about what kind of food to get before deciding on tacos. Claudia had raved about the tacos she had last night, so we all followed her to the Vip section of Coachella.

There were way fewer people, not too many crowds, and we didn't have to wait too long for our food.

It was a little section with a few small food stalls and some tabels to sit.Once we got our food, we made our way to the far back to have some more privacy.

I flopped down onto the bench in between Claudia and Grace, Chris and Finneas on the other side. To be honest, Claudia didn't lie. These tacos were amazing. We talked about more upcoming performances and about the parties that would happen later.

I was currently laughing at a joke that Finneas made as I saw something in the corner of my eye. A group of people made their way towards the food stalls, and among them was - Billie. Of course.

I didn't really recognize any of the people she was with. Only Quenlin. I knew her originally from Vine. Billie had been the one who showed me her videos. And then later on, I started watching her YouTube videos.

I peeled my eyes away from them back to Finneas, who still talked about a past Coachella experience. I just couldn't keep my eyes off her. As much as I wanted to and as much as I hated it. I caught myself looking at her over and over.

Until she suddenly looked my way making eye contact with me. She must have felt my eyes on her. I instantly broke it again, looking back at Finneas. I just hoped it hadn't been too obvious that I was looking at her.

"You good Valerie?," Claudia asked, with concern next to me. She must have realised that I wasn't following the conversation.

"Yeah, I'm fine," I said, giving her a weak smile. She gave me this look of "I know you're lying," but before she could say anything, her eyes wandered behind me.

I turned my head and was met with no other than Billie herself. My eyes met hers for a second before looking away. I had no energy to have any interaction with her.

"I met mom earlier, and she said that she wants us to meet at 9 pm . Just check your phone. I think she texted you the details. " Finneas nodded and Billie luckily left again.

I let out a sigh, making sure no one else could hear.

"Maggie wants us all to meet at the tent from last night again." Said Finneas before tugging his phone back into his pocket, looking back up at-

"Why are you looking at me?" I asked.

"Because she means you too, Valerie . Grace and Chris, you guys as well." Said Finneas before adding "You of course too." He said, looking at Claudia, giving her a genuine smile.

Great a family reunion with Billie later. Luck was once again on my side.
