Part 4

September 2016

Dear diary,Today is september 15 2016, and this is my first entry.

Mum made me start writing a diary because she said that, and I quote, "It will help you stay organized, Valerie. Not only for school but for everything else that goes on in your life. Don't you think it would be good to get everything out at the end of the day."

She had read on the internet that having a diary helps teenagers understand things better and just ingeneral would better their mental health.

She loved the idea so much that she drove to the store right away to buy me a diary.

And we'll here I am . Telling you about my day now at least once a week.

So, let's start.

I was at Billies house the entire day after school. Her and I have been hanging out a lot recently. Doing whatever.

Billie loves physical contact, so we often cuddle while watching the office. It's Billies favorite show,so we watch it all the time.And if we are not watching the office, we are in the park down the street sitting on the swings till it's dark out. Just talking.

Well, I mostly talk and Billie just listens. She is a really good listener. Because she actually listens and here and there contributs to whatever problem I'm telling her about. She is a really good friend .

Probably my best friend, eversince Mia stopped talking to me. We used to be best friends . I don't know when exactly it happened, but we just kinda grew apart.

She would always talk about boys and makeup. But I wasn't really interested in that yet. Now she has new friends that she hangs out with.

I kinda still miss her. Or at least my Mia the the Mia that I could always talk to about anything. But Billie has now taken her role,  but I just don't know what I did wrong.

Anyway, enough for tonight . I unfortunately still have to do my math homework.

But maybe mum is right, and writing a diary won't be so bad.

Real-life

With a sigh, I closed the diary. I still have to do my stupid math homework. I really don't want to do it. I don't even get what we're doing right now.

I grabbed my textbook, but before I could even open it, my phone vibrated next to me. Billie had texted me.

Billie

Hey mamas What are you doing right now?

Valerie

In theory, I'm currentlydoing homework.

But in reality, I'm not .

So what's up?

Billie.                                                                

Well, I'm bored.                                               

Doing music with Finneas.                           right now, but it's all shit.                             

And he won't let me take a break.              

Valerie B I'm sure it's sounds amazing. You are just too hard on yourself. 

Billie How do you know it's good when you've never heard me sing before?

Valerie Well, you should definitely let me hear your songs oneday.

Billie Nope. Not gonna happen.

Valerie But why??I don't care if it sounds horrible!Please.

Valerie Pretty please?

Billie Ok mabey...

Valerie OkiiWell, I gotta go . Still have to do my homework
