Chappie 19

So this is the Christmas party chappie!!!

-Lexi's POV-

"Zayn, is the food all nearly ready?? Like the nibbles!" I said as I rushed around the kitchen.

"Yup just need to put them on the tables and make them look good then we are done! And the turkey and apple pie are in the ovens so they will be ready in time for dinner" Zayn said and picked some bowls up and carried them over to the coffee table.

We had twenty minutes until everyone arrived and we were all rushing around the place, cooking decorating and doing other bits and pieces. I was still in a shirt and jean-shorts and needed to have a shower.

"Ok we will play the Christmas 2011 CD first ok Danielle?" Eleanor said picking up the album out of a whole bunch.

"Yup!" Danielle agreed.

-

"Ok, all the secret Santa presents are ready and wrapped.. I'll just put them in this bag.." Louis said talking to himself.

"Ok all done! Might as well go and start getting ready since they'll be here soon.."

I saw Maslinka, Niall and Harry quickly fixing all of the decorations and giving the Christmas tree a final nod. We had gone down to the park yesterday evening where they were selling Christmas trees and had chosen quite a large one. It was now sitting in the living room, covered in tinsel and decorations.

I helped Zayn lay out the last few snacks.

"I'm going to get ready now, we have fifteen minutes" Zayn said and jogged up stairs, offering me a friendly smile.

I decided to clean up the kitchen quickly before I got ready since I might take a while with my shower.

Everyone was upstairs getting ready so I was left alone. It wasn't even snowing yet which was quite disappointing! It was freezing cold though. Just as well we had lit the fire place so now the place was warm and cosy.

Washing the soapy bubbles off the last plate, I wiped my hands on a tea-towel and decided to head upstairs.

I dried off my body and grabbed my dress off my bed, looking at the clock. 6:26. Damn! They would be here in four minutes! I still had to dry my hair.

I zipped up my dress and slipped on some ballet flats, placing my silver chain necklace around my neck. I connected the hair drier to the power cir-cut and put it on full force.

Once I had finished I looked at the clock and it read 6:35. Oh well there's no problem with being fashionably late.. especially when I was late because of fashion. Hahahaha! What a loser I am making myself laugh. Anyway, I could hear voices downstairs and hurried out of my room.

-Harry's POV-

I couldn't help myself gasping a bit when I saw her walk down those stairs. my heart skipped a beat and I knew I was staring with my mouth wide open as she blushed a little.

Suddenly the noise died down a bit as people turned to look at her. Now this wasn't like in movies when the girl walks down the stairs all dramatically and slowly, no, she was going quickly and we had a huge staircase.

I tried to lighten up the mood a little and did a wolf whistle as a joke. She was blushing madly now and I chuckled. People started talking again and a few people went up to greet her.

-Lexi's POV-

Anne and Gemma came up to me and gave me a hug and started giving compliments about my outfit and I returned them.

"Lexi dear, have you met Harry's step-father Robin?" Anne asked smiling and a friendly looking man walked up to us.

"No, nice to meet you Robin!" I smiled shaking his hand.

"Call me Rob dear! I heard you about you and Harry" Rob said giving me a toothy grin and wiggling his eyebrows. I blushed for like the tenth time but a few more people came over to us thankfully.

"Lexi this is my mum Maura, my dad Bobby and my brother Greg!" Niall smiled walking over with his family and Maslinka.

I shook all of their hands and we all made small talk with the Styles, Harry joining us.

"Guys, I'm gonna take Lexi around to meet the others parents! Niall, Maslinka?" Harry said. Us three followed and walked over to where Zayn, Liam and Louis parents were chatting.

"Hi I'm Lexi!" I said when they all smiled at me. It was kinda awkward meeting everyone but it was ok I guess.

I got introduced to Zayns parents - Yaser his dad and Patricia his mum, Louis parents - Jay his mum and his step-father Mark and Liams parents - Karen his mum and Geoff his dad.

We chatted for a while and everyone got settled. A few minutes later, Zayns sister Waliyha (14), and Louis sister Charlotte (14) came up to Maslinka and I.

"Hey! I'm Charlotte but you can call me Lottie and this is Waliyha! We are both 14! Would you like us to intruduce you to all the others?" Charlotte asked us.

"Yes! That would be nice haha" I agreed.

"Wait, just need to grab a few mince pies.." Maslinka said wandering over to the table.

"She always eats so much!" I laughed with the two girls.

"What?" Said Maslinka grinning as she came back with two mince pies.

We walked over to a group. Gemma was there with a few other people.

"GUYS ATTENTION PLEASE!" Waliyha shouted causing all the people to look over at us.

"Hi I'm Maslinka and this is Lexi!" Maslinka smiled.

"Oh naaaaah!" Gemma winked.

"Hi I'm Greg , 23, you're going out with my little bro aren't you?" Greg smiled at Maslinka then turned and said hi to me.

"Yup I am haha" Maslinka smiled, looking over to Niall who was stuffing his face.

"I'm Doniya, Zayn and Waliyhas sister. I'm 21" She smiled and gave us hugs.

"And we're Liam's sisters! I'm Nicola and I'm 22 and this is Ruth who is 20!" Nicola smiled.

"Hey! Nice to meet all of you." I smiled.

"I think all the littlies are playing tag outside" Charlotte said and sure enough there were four kids running about in the big garden.

"Well see you guys later! Just getting to know everyone" Maslinka laughed and we all said goodbye.

"YOU'RE IT!" A girl around 12 screamed as she tagged another girl.

"Hey Lottie, who are they?" A little girl asked.

"Well I'm Lexi and this is my best friend Maslinka!" I said to her smiling.

"I'm Pheobe and this is my twin Daisy! We are Louis sisters!" She giggled pulling Daisy over to us. She smiled cheerily at us.

"That's also Fizzy actually her names Felicity haha" Charlotte said pointing to her 12 year old sister.

"And Safaa my little sis, shes 10" Waliyha said pointing to the girl Felicity was playing with.

"And now you know everyone here!" Charlotte smiled.

"Do you mind if we go play with them?" Waliyha asked.

"Not at all! Thanks for introducing us to everyone!" I said and Maslinka and I walked back inside.

"Where have you two been?" Harry asked walking over to us with the boys, Danielle and Eleanor

"Meeting all your siblings! Wow you have so many" Maslinka laughed.

"Hey blame it on Louis!" Niall joked.

"haha. very funny." Louis said sarcastically grinning.

"Louis should we do secret Santa now? Before dinner." Liam suggested.

"GOOD IDEA LIAM" Louis yelled in Liams face and patting his head.

"Woah calm down haha" Liam smiled.

The two boys went into the room where they were keeping all the gifts hidden away.

-Louis's POV-

We got all of the gifts out from the cupboard and laid them out on the table. They created a small pile but filled the whole table. I had spent some of yesterday and most of today writing all the names onto the gifts - to and from. E.g. to niall, from anon And yes, They were all randomly labelled so if you were a boy or might get a girl thing. HAHAHAHAHA! My sense of humour.

One by one I went out of the room and literally grabbed a person and pulled them into the room and they quickly picked a present and went back out again.

Everyone was now standing around in the big living room area and talking quite loudly. So I stood on top of the coffee table!

"EVERYONE!" I shouted and they all turned to face me. "Now, calmly give the gift to the person who's name is on it. Everyone started laughing and running around the place to give the gifts. I joined in of course and handed the gift I had to Karen, Liams mum and Safaa, Zayns sister, handed me a gift. Suddenly there was wrapping paper EVERYWHERE as people ripped open their presents and their were screams of delight or laughs. I opened mine and found a packet of gummy bears!! ERMAHGERD!!!

"GUMMY BEARS YAY HAHAHA!" I screamed running around like everyone else.

-Lexi's POV-

I looked down at the still wrapped up gift Harry had given me. Slowly I unwrapped it, being careful not to tear the paper. Haha it was sort of a habit.

"Lexi what did you get? I got some new headphones, look!! there are panders on the ears!" Maslinka squealed. I pulled the last bit of paper off and revealed a necklace. It was a silver (fake) chain with a camera and a heart attached to it!!

"Omg that's so cool!" Maslinka said looking at my gift.

"Yeah, can you help me put it on?"

Finally everything settled back down and people were picking up all the wrapping paper.

Zayn walked up to me "I think the turkey might be ready soon-"

BEEP BEEP BEEP!

"Oh that will be the turkey!" Zayn said and we left to the kitchen.

"Oh my gosh that smells so gooood!" I said breathing in the air.

"I know aye, and looks delicious!" Zayn said opening up the oven with the turkey in.

"Well, looks like dinner is soon! Can you get the rest of the stuff and the wine ready?" Zayn asked me. I nodded.

Everyone was sitting Inside at the big table that had been extended and more chairs were put around it so it fitted all of us. 30 people. That's amazing the table fitted all of us.

All the food was set out and I was walking around and pouring everyone wine, water of lemonade. I sat back down.

"Merry Christmas everyone! Now DIG IN!!!" Niall shouted and everyone started serving themselves or helping the little kids. Ok, it wasn't very orderly but eh, who cares!

Everyone was talking loudly and having lots of different conversations, this seriously was a madhouse!!

"Ohmygoshimsooofull" I said taking my plate up to the bench. We can do the washing up later...

"Tell me about it!" Danielle agreed.

"Well now it's time for karaoke!!" Eleanor smiled.

"Uhh I will probably sing the Apple pie out of my stomach!" Gemma said.

"Hahaha samee!" Nicola smiled.

"Wow Maslinka and Niall are still going!" Ruth said looking at them in disbelief.

"That's normal life ladies" Liam said rinsing off his plate unlike the rest of us. "Gosh this is messy!"

"We can clean it up later" I said rubbing my tummy.

"Woah that was some good stuff" Maslinka said walking up to the bench with Niall.

"Agreed!" Niall smiled. "Uh you might wanna-" BURRPP!

"EW NIALL THAT'S SO DISGUSTING!" A few of the girls screamed running from the kitchen.

"Hahahahaa nice one love!" Maslinka laughed

"NIALL HORAN, MANNERS!" His mum shouted from the dining table. We all laughed and Niall blushed but joined in with us.

"Time for karaoke then?" Anne said finally changing the subject.

"YES!" All the little kids and some of the others screamed.

"Ok Lou go set it up then!" Jay, Louis's mum said. I laughed even though it wasn't funny.

(A/N: Idk why hahah I'm just cracking up right now at nothing!! Whats wrong with me :0)

"There is four microphones so we can do the party battle! 2 against 2!" Louis announced. Everyone was crowding around the area and Louis was sorting all the people into teams.

"Ok the 15 people in team A please come up with a name!" The other team including Zayn and Liam all made a huddle and decided rather quickly.

"Team pythons!" They all said and did a 'signature move'

"Team B, your name please?" Louis said

"Team unicorns!" Safaa (Zayn's little sister) said shyly.

We all started laughing but ended up agreeing with her.

"I will just put that into the system... and I'm in team unicorns by the way" Louis grinned at us.

"Done! Choose your first two contestants from each team!" Louis said and walked over to us.

"Any volunteers?" Eleanor spoke up

"I will with Lexi!" Harry smirked making my face turn from happiness into horror.

"Nope, no way!" I said but Harry pulled me over and handed me a microphone.

"Ok and who's from team pythons?" Louis asked walking back up to the front.

"Liam and Me!" Danielle said happily. I guess I should just enjoy this while it lasts.

We all decided on the song All I want for Christmas is you by Mariah Carey and started to sing it!

We all finished singing and everyone started clapping and whistling as we laughed. I gave Harry a hi-five since we won and beat Liam and Danielle.

"Nice job!" Everyone was saying to us and giving us pats on the back.

We carried on with karaoke and everyone had at least 2 or 3 goes till it was around 10:30pm. Daisy and Pheobe, the twins, were starting to doze off to sleep.

"Well I think we should be getting home now, looking at these two! And santas coming tonight" Jay (Louis's mum) said winking at the Santa part.

"Yeah good idea, don't want the kiddies to be grumpy on Christmas day!" Patricia (Zayn's mum) agreed patting Safaas head.

"Thank you for an awesome night! Merry Christmas!" Everyone started saying their goodbyes and hugging each other until it was just the 9 of us again.

"What a night!" Danielle said flopping down onto the couch.

"Yeah but it was fun" Liam said.

"Agreed." We all said and burst out laughing.

"Well, I think we should add the last of our presents to 'beneath the Christmas tree'" Zayn said.

"There are sooo many from all our parents!" Niall smiled pointing at all of them.

"We are getting the presents from our parents when we get back to New York" I said.

"Yeah, guts for you!" Niall snickered and Maslinka playfully slapped him.

"Ow!" He joked still chuckling.

"Well happy Christmas Eve! Peace out people I'm going to bed." Eleanor said leaving us.

"Yeah I guess we should sleep" I said yawning.

"party pooper" Louis said.

"I WANNA STAY UP ALL NIGHT AND JUMP AROUND UNTIL WE SEE THE SUN!" The boys started singing loudly and we started laughing but Danielle, Maslinka and I left them to jamming to songs on their own.
