39 - Gloom

Warning: A lot of switching up POV's...I hope it's not that confusing..

[Himawari Sakura's POV]

"Shit..It's like you want to kill me....I fucking love it"

Endo looked at me with that beet red look on his face, a wide grin plastered on his lips. If I called the mental hospital right now, they would've taken him without further questioning.

"If it were that easy, believe me I would've done so" I gripped on his shirt tightly, pulling him towards me. He surprisingly obliged and let me pull on him as I please.

"If those emotions raged you on were directed on me only, then so be it" His  grin seemed to grow even more as his eyes met mine, what a crazy bastard.

I didn't answer him, my eyes watched him for a few seconds debating whether I should just spit on his face but those thoughts were washed away as Endo spoke again.

"Did you like how I prepared the surprise for you?"

"What?"

"This surprise" He said as he looked around, his hands going up in the air as he spoke some more, "Wanna know a secret Himawari?"

"Can you just get straight to the point while I'm still letting you talk" Jaw clenched as I let out a sigh.

"We just wanted to have fun, it's Takiishi's birthday after all"

[Yamato Endo's POV] 

I already knew what I could grasp out of these two. All the information I could get my hands on, I searched for it. I prepared everything before we came here. Everything just needs to slide in into the missing puzzles places I left open.

"We just wanted to have fun, it's Takiishi's birthday after all"

Before I could even look at her, I felt a unidentifiable pain on the left side of my body which sent me to the ground with a loud thud. 

Fucking hell that sure sent the flying shit out of me- Did she kick me? 

I winced in pain as I trailed my eyes up to her face, to see her expression....oh god if she wanted to kill me earlier....now she really wants to kill me. I smiled and extended my arms in the air but she kicked it away.

Tch. I grabbed her foot as she stepped closer, "It seems I have gone too soft on you. Let me make you realize something." I said as I yanked her feet down which made her stumble to the ground.

I got up and bent my body down to reach for her head, she has a blank expression on her face now, amusing. 

"I'm the one who you should be listening to-" HOLD

"Let go of Hima" Oh. Her dear brother.

"I thought you were knocked out cold, maybe I should've hit you harder" I lift my foot up to use it to kick this brother of hers but she ended up grabbing it- So many interruptions! 

I yanked my body away from them, jumping away before I let out a sigh. Dealing with them like this is a pain, I should just play with their heads instead.

After all, the mind gets weak when it is attacked with words it doesn't want to hear.

"Shame upon Furin, their saviors are here on the ground before my feet. If they could only see this, would you guys think they would still think highly of you?"

No answer.

"Or..should I just knock out the both of you and present you to Umemiya? How does that sound?" keke

I could see their expressions crumble, those thoughts certainly hit them. You must weaken their mind before you attack. It is the best strategy.

"I have a better idea!" I said as I bent down on the ground and smiled at them, "I'll present you Umemiya's beaten up state instead." That's right. Hurt their pride. Who would stay strong upon seeing their leader beaten up?

Mumble mumble

I saw how Himawari's lips moved but I didn't hear it. "I didn't hear you, speak up-"

"I said shut up!" Was all I heard before she punched me in the face.

Haha a hit to the jaw- really violent. I held the side of my face as I looked at her again, "I don't really want to"

"Then I'll just make you-" Her fists flew over to hit me again but I held it within my grasp, gripping it tighter as each second passes.

"I'd love to see you try~"

[Himawari Sakura's POV]

Thoughts are relentlessly coming into my head.

My mind is all hazy.

What am I doing again?

What was I supposed to do again?

I can't see anything.

It's as if my eyes were covered..

I'm scared

Wait.

I'm scared?

What am I afraid of? is it because I can't see anything?

"You'll come with me right?" What? Who is this?

"Yes." That's me? Why did I answer that? Who am I talking to-

[A few days earlier]

[No one's POV]

"Umemiya, I heard from a few birdies that they saw you carrying someone the other day" Hiragi sat down by the bench as he watched Umemiya's back who was busy tending to his precious plants.

"Birdies? You're awfully imaginative Hiragi" Umemiya laughed out softly as he wiped the sweat that trickled down his face.

"Shut up. I just heard it from loud voices okay? Can't really turn a deaf ear when it comes to gossip"

"Just tell me you're curious on who that was Hiragi"

"Well I already have an idea on who it is, might as well confirm it" Hiragi replied as he sighed out and looked off to the side. 

"Then tell me, who do you think it is? I won't confirm your answer either way" Umemiya finally got up from his position and sat down on the bench beside Hiragi.

"Is it one of the twins?" 

"Hiragi" Umemiya called out, looking at Hiragi with a 'are you serious' look on his face, "Be specific, there are other twins in Furin"

"Why would I? You said you won't answer either way" Hiragi felt like his stomach was churning, he popped out one tablet of his gas-kun 10 and placed it inside his mouth.

"I- you got me there- Still, I won't be in the losing side if you don't narrow down your suspicions Hiragi" Umemiya laughed out as he watched Hiragi drink some stomach medicine. Sometimes he thinks maybe he's the reason why Hiragi's stomach is in pain but that idea just withers away in his thoughts.

"I hate how sometimes you can be right"

"Excuse me?! Just sometimes?!?" Umemiya clutched his chest and stared at Hiragi with a pained expression on his face. 

Hiragi ignored what Umemiya was saying and doing and continued on with what he was supposed to say, "I believe it's one of the Sakura Twins, you seem to occupy your time with things related to them quite frequently nowadays. Much more train with one of them even though that's not entirely your role alone"

"And what are you implying?" Umemiya seems more serious now, his hands carefully placed on the side of his body.

"Nothing. You just seem interested that's all. Though I suppose that's not so surprising when we're talking about the 'Hajime Umemiya' here" Hiragi sighed out and then shook his head at Umemiya.

"What? That sounds like you're saying that I'm always all over the place-"

"Cuz you are"

"I- okay alright stop smudging it on my face" Umemiya huffed out his chest and crossed his arms, the scene looks like a child getting scolded by their father.

"You like the twins don't you?"

Umemiya was taken aback, his mouth fell open as his eyes looked over at Hiragi's. "Of course I do, they're my juniors after all-"

"No I mean you fancy one of them" Hiragi face palms as he spoke, scrunching his eyebrows in the process.

"Hiragi stop talking like an old man, it's weird-"

BONK

"Ow" Umemiya rubbed his head as he felt Hiragi's smack from earlier stinging in.

"You could've just answered dumbass" Hiragi sighed out for the ????th time as he placed his hand over his head. "Umemiya"

"Yeah?"

"You know feelings often get in the way with people's actions right?"

"Mhm"

"You know we'll be facing Takiishi and Endo soon right?"

"Yeah"

"Do you think we'll win this time around?"

"Yes of course, we have to after all"

A/N: Here's Chapter 39..I genuinely thought I'd have to put off the upload of this chapter because I was feeling unmotivated lately but I finished the chapter just fine! I do hope it's up to your expectations! or even beyond(?):D
