10 - Finally Accepted

Once we got back, Umemiya made a fuss about celebrating and made us go to where Kotoha works.

Sakura held my hand as we were entering the cafe, "Hima let's go home" the others heard him and immediately turned their heads at us. "Who's going home?" Umemiya asked, already beaming at our side with his bright smile. 

"No one's going home. We're going to celebrate! and besides...your twin wants to hang out some more with us" Umemiya said to Haru then looked over at me, and tilts his head to the side and raises his eyebrows, "Right?"  

Haruka looked at me, waiting for me to say something. "U-uh yeah I do" I scratched my neck and looked away. 

"What are we even celebrating?" I heard Haru ask.

"Well you guys had a talk with Togame! It's worth celebrating!" He said as he carried Sakura as if he weighs nothing and threw him to the cushion chairs. I laughed to myself as I heard Haru's protests. Pretty damn great idea, if he didn't do that then my brother might've ran already.

"Get the other twin here too!" I heard Kotoha say as she looked over at me with a smirk. 'What-' Before I could process what was happening, I was already up in the air in someone's arms. 

Suo smiled at me, "Apologies Sakura-chan, just following orders" my face reddened immediately, 'Damn you pretty eyepatch boy!' 

"You didn't have to carry me, I'm not gonna run away like Haru" I said as he placed me down gently next to Sakura. 

I looked at Haru to see him blushing as well. Well look at that our faces are both red..

"I think I can see why Togame called you guys kittens..you two do look like cats.." Nirei said as he sat beside Sakura. "I definitely see the resemblance!" We heard Umemiya say who was sitting infront of us, smiling.

"I agree" Suo said.

"Same here" Hiragi and kotoha said. 

"I do too!" Even Sasaki..

"If you guys are just going to tease us we're going home-" Sakura said as he glared at them, his face still red. "Ehh I told you no one's going home just yet" Umemiya replied.

I stared down at my hands, too shy to meet anyone's gaze.

"Well anyways..How was your talk with Togame?" I heard Umemiya ask and Sakura immediately answered. "I don't know, I didn't hear a word from his fists-"

'What the hell is he saying-'

My head snapped towards his direction, looking at him with  an 'Are you serious right now' face.

"What?" He asked innocently, the others started laughing. "I didn't think you were the imaginative type, Sakura-san" Suo said while chuckling.

"What's your problem? Want to take this outsi-" I smacked his arm, glaring at him. He grumbled in his seat quietly.

"I also didn't hear anything like that. They are just a medium to express one's feelings" Umemiya explained to him while still chuckling,

"Feelings?" Sakura questioned him.

"for an example, feelings of like and dislike-" *SPLURT*

The tea that was in Sakura's mouth was now on Umemiya's face. "Oh my god- Haru-" I said in a startled voice, I looked at Umemiya and got up to help him.

"My eyes!" Umemiya exclaimed as he covered his eyes with his hands. "Let me help you, I'm so sorry!" I said as I hurriedly took out my handkerchief. 'Ah- This is so embarrassing- I hope the ground eats me whole'

I watched as Umemiya slowly uncover his eyes, his gaze looking at my curiously. My face reddened even more and I looked away as soon as I realized what I was about to do, I gave him my handkerchief and just sat back down. I heard Umemiya thank me but I was too embarrassed to look at him so I just nodded.

 "You bastard!" I can see Sugishita glaring at Sakura while he was standing from his seat."Sugishita calm down" Hiragi said, motioning for Sugishita to sit back down. 

Haru apologized and scratched his neck awkwardly, not meeting their gaze. "So what did you mean by that.." He started, waiting for Umemiya to start explaining again.

"By fighting Togame, you came to understand him right? You started liking him. That's why you tried to punch Tomiyama. That's proof that your conversation went well" Umemiya said with a smile as he placed his hands on top of the table.

Sakura's cheeks were still flushed red as he avoided to look at Umemiya. "So it went well?" Umemiya nodded then looked at me. "I assume you already pieced everything together?" he asked as he tilted his head, I nodded in response.

"Why would you want to celebrate that?" I heard Haru ask.

"Because I'm happy" Umemiya answered with a smile.

"I'm happy that someone like you guys came to this town. I had my doubts, curiosity filled me but now I'm happy. You two are such nice people" the others agreed to what Umemiya was saying, I watched as Haru look down slowly, clenching his fists.

"But why..why are you guys accepting it like that..We came here to be the top..to defeat you" I gently placed my hand on his back and rubbed it softly. Haru's a strong person, no one can deny that..but..he's weak inside..he doubts himself a lot. We only had each other after all.

"Do you know why your conversation went well?" I glanced over at Umemiya, he was still smiling softly. "Why?" Haru asked.

"Because you wanted to know more about that person. Accepting and understanding others isn't simple but you did it. If you can do that..then you can do anything. Even be the top."

I stared at Umemiya in awe, anything this man says with that smile of his..it's miracles. No wonder people look up to him. I never knew fighting could get so emotional before I came to this town. I've never met people who were genuinely nice to us before..that changed..because of them.

"Then..that would mean you lost to me right?" Sakura said while looking at Umemiya. "Yeah. If the time comes~" He said while chuckling. 'I don't think I can defeat him Haru. That's an angel right there.'

Sugishita suddenly got up, holding a chair up in the air while shooting daggers with his eyes as he stared at Sakura. "Sugishita calm down.." Hiragi stood up and placed the chair down. 

"I gotta give it to him, I thought he would've killed Sakura-san ages ago" We heard Suo say then the others laughed, including me.

I could feel my heart racing in pure joy, these people right here..I hope they'll stay with us..and..

Not leave us like the others did.

Once we made it back home, I immediately ran over to the couch and let my body fall to the cushions of it. "Ahh I missed this" I said as I relaxed my muscles.

"Go take a shower first, you'll get the couch dirty" Haruka said as he entered the living space area.

"Are you calling me dirty and stinky?" I glared at him.

"I did not say that-" "Yes you did-" "I did not-"

"I'll just go and shower already" I stood up and started to walk to the bathroom but Haru held my arm.

"How's your wounds?" He asked as he looked at me with worry in his eyes. "Well I thought I broke a rib but it doesn't seem to be the case. I think I just fell on the ground too many times" I answered while pressing my ribs gently, not feeling anything unusual.

"I knew it. I should've killed hi-"

"Haruka!"

"Okay I'm sorry" He said as I saw him roll his eyes. "Just in case, let's find a clinic and get you checked tomorrow after school" 'What the-'

"I'm fine Haru, worry about yourself" I said and gently patted his head.

"No." 'Stubborn.' I thought to myself and shook my head gently from side to side. "By the way..they..haven't noticed anything yet huh?" My eyes stare at him for a few seconds before answering. 

"Well I guess I'm just that good at being a dude" I said confidently, crossing my arms.

"As if" He retorted, rolling his eyes. "I hope they really didn't notice though. I don't want you to transfer to another school"

"I hope so too." I answered before turning away. 

"I won't leave you alone Haru."
