The winter break went by fast.

Y/n and Ni-Ki were officially dating. Well, no one knew except them.

They didn't know when was the right time to tell the group.

After that eventful new years night for the both of them, they felt a little embarrassed but things were still the same.

Which did irk y/n. She wanted things to be more couple-like not friend-like.

However every kiss and physical touch that they shared was mostly his initiative. Well except one time where she kissed him.

'Ughh this is making my brain hurtt!!' She thought while grabbing her hair in frustration.

"Hey! I can't really see the board from here, so can I see your notes?" A guy tapped y/n from the side.

"Huh? Oh sure. Here." Y/n turned to look at him and handed him her notes.

"Thanks! I'll give it back in a second." The guy smiled.

Y/n just nodded and rested her head on the desk.

She was in history right now.

After some time the guy handed her notes back.

"Here. Thanks for letting me use them." The guy said handing over the notes back.

"Yeah no problem.." y/n lifted her head taking the notes back a little confused.

'Hm.. I guess there can be naturally nice guys in school.' Y/n thought and shrugged it off.

Y/n kept copying down some notes and words that the teacher was saying and showing.

"Ughh I can't see!.." the guy next to y/n grunted quietly trying to look over the person infront of them.

Y/n noticed this and handed the notes.

"Here. Just take them again. You can talk to Mr Park after class about moving or swapping seats with someone." Y/n said.

"Oh thanks.. uh.." the guy said.

"Hm?" Y/n was puzzled at his response.

"Sorry. What's your name?" The guy said.

"Oh right! I'm y/n. Y/n Nanaki. And you..?" Y/n said.

"Oh I'm Park Jiyeon!" The guy replied.

"Anyway thanks for the notes y/n I'll give them back in a second." The guy smiled.

Y/n nodded and leaned against her hands on her table. She started dozing off... and then she fell asleep.

"Y/n! Oi y/n! Y/N NANAKI!" Jungwon's voice screamed in y/n's ear.

Y/n woke up a little startled but then got angry.

"WHAT?!" She yelled.

"The bell rang! Get up let's go eat lunch!" Jungwon said nudging her.

"I get it! I get it!" She sighed while rubbing her eyes.

She then started packing away her stuff and seen her notepad with a little smaller sticky note stuck onto it.

Y/n picked up the notes and nodded. She was still a little dazed from her sleep.

She yawned.

"Let's go.." she said unenthusiastically.

Y/n and Jungwon entered the cafeteria and walked over to the table.

"Hey guys.." y/n waved sleepily.

She slumped down on the chair and dropped her bag while resting her head on the table.

"Hey guys! She's a little tired so just let her sleep I guess." Jungwon said while sighing.

"Alright. Anyway I think it's time for us to talk about the holidays right?" Jay said.

"Oh yeah! I'll start!-.." Sunoo said.

Then they started talking about random stuff they did over the holidays.

When Ni-Ki got asked he just simply replied with 'Oh I went to the festival' and didn't say anything else.

Y/n couldn't sleep with this amount of noise so she gave up on sleeping and lifted her head.

She looked around sleepily and checked to see who was at the table.

'Jungwon.. Jay.. Sunghoon.. Jake.. Ni-Ki.. Jiyeon.. Sunoo..' she thought and then paused.

"Jiyeon?!" She said outloud.

The group turned to her.

"Hey y/n.." he said awkwardly.

Wait what are you doing here- she said confused.

"I never knew you hang out with these people!" Jiyeon said surprised.

"Wait so-.." y/n tried puzzling it together.

Ni-Ki was eyeing them both in not such a pleasant way.

'Why is she talking like that to him? Why is he looking at her like that? He probably wants her. Too bad for him. She's mine.' Ni-Ki thought.

"I'll explain! Jiyeon is my cousin. He was meant to join at the end of June but didn't because there was a problem with exchanging. He joined at the end of September and then was off because he had a sprained ankle during those 2 weeks of school before Christmas. That's why you haven't met him yet." Jay explained.

"Ohhh!! That makes so much more sense now." Y/n facepalmed.

"Anyway! Glad that you're here! Let's be good friends for the time I'm here. Because I'm an exchange student." Jiyeon smiled.

"Yeah." Y/n smiled.

The rest of the group talked and smiled and some of them went off into practice.

Ni-Ki wasn't very happy about Jiyeon.

He knew it was Jay's cousin but he still felt icky.

"I'm gonna go practice." Ni-Ki stood up angrily.

"Okay see you later." Jake said.

Y/n looked at him puzzled.

'He seems off. Maybe it's best if I check up on him.. wait but if he's angry I don't think I should right now. I'll go to him after practice.' Y/n thought.

"Great practice guys! You can go home now." The coach announced.

The school day ended a while ago. The guys practiced at lunch and after school aswell. Well.. the basketball team.

"I'm gonna head off Ni-Ki. You may wanna stay here for a little though." Sunghoon teased.

Ni-Ki looked around and seen y/n standing there.

Sunghoon escaped and the rest of the team was either still in the locker room or already gone home.

It was already dark outside. It was past 6pm and y/n studies in the library after school ended and Ni-Ki had basketball practice after school.

"Hi." Y/n said.

"Hey. So.. what's up?" Ni-Ki asked.

"Nothing I wanted to talk to you. So.. let's go." Y/n said.

She walked over to him and grabbed his sleeve while pulling him along gently.

She was wearing her coat and so was he.

"It's so cold..!" She said.

"Yeah.. so. What did you want to talk about?" Ni-Ki looked at her softly.

"Nothing really. I just seen you were in a bad mood earlier. Are you okay?" Y/n asked him as they both stood infront of the school gates with their coats and uniforms.

"Yeah I'm fine. I just felt a little irritated earlier." Ni-Ki confessed.

"Hm.. why did you feel irritated?" Y/n asked.

"Because.. I.." Ni-Ki couldn't bring himself to say it.

Y/n kept looking up at him with her soft eyes that looked like crystal balls.

She grabbed his hand lightly and got closer to him while still standing infront of him.

"We're a couple now. You can't hide from me. Be honest with me Riki.." y/n sighed.

"Y/n.." he said.

"Well?" She asked softly.

"I didn't like how Jiyeon looked at you today. I know he's Jay's cousin and all but as a guy I just felt-.." Ni-Ki got riled up and then sighed.

"You felt challenged?" Y/n asked.

"Yeah.." Ni-Ki said embarrassed at what he was saying.

He looked away to the side while tugging on his scarf to hide the blush on his face from embarrassment.

Y/n looked at him sadly but then smiled.

She got one of her hands and cupped his face and then turned it to look at her.

"Riki I love you and I'll only ever love you. So please, trust me and tell me everything." Y/n said.

Ni-Ki looked at her with pure love in his eyes.

He then grabbed her into a hug and squeezed her while dropping his duffel bag on the ground.

He lifted her up and spun her around gently while still in a hug.

"Hey Riki!-.." y/n laughed.

"You're mine forever." He said while laughing and squeezing her.

He put her down and they both looked at each other.

They both leaned in but their noses bumped into each other.

Y/n took the initiative and leaned him and kissed him.

Ni-Ki's eyes widened from her initiating the kiss.

He closed his eyes while both of them felt their cheeks be red.

And no, it wasn't from how cold it was outside.

They both pulled out and then pressed their foreheads together while smiling.

Y/n grabbed his hand and then he picked up his duffel bag with his other hand.

And then they walked together to the bus stop on that cold winter evening.
