𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐬 𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥.

𝐈𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐢𝐭, 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐢𝐭. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐧𝐨 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐨𝐟𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤.

𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐧 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐨𝐫 𝐧𝐨𝐭)___________________________________

Y/n was getting dolled up. She was on call with her friend Hana. She met Hana ages ago but Hana just didn't get mentioned enough.

"DO I LOOK ALRIGHT? TELL ME TELL ME!" Y/n panicked.

"WAIT! YOU'RE GOING ON A DATE AREN'T YOU?!" Hana yelled in shock over the phone.

Y/n paused.

"About time right?" Y/n said while chuckling.

"Wait where are you going?" Hana asked.

"Uh.. the festival?" Y/n said.

"WITH A GUY? THAT'S DEFINITELY A DATE!" Hana yelled.

After a minute y/n came out in a white cozy top and a black coat on top with warm brown winter boots and black long pants.

"How do I look?" Y/n asked.

"Oh my beautiful.. YOU LOOK SO GOOD!! AHH OH MY GODD WHOEVER YOUR DATE IS MUST BE THE LUCKIEST GUY!" Hana complimented.

"Hana.. you're making me blush.." y/n joked.

"Oh shit what time is it.. 8PM?! FUCK HE'S ALREADY MEANT TO BE WAITING DOWNSTAIRS! I GOTTA GO!" Y/n yelled.

"MHM! GO GET YOUR MAN!" Hana cheered.

"BYEE!" Y/n and Hana said and hung up.

Y/n did one last check and grabbed her purse and wallet and phone and everything she needed.

She seen his figure leaning against the wall of the apartment building as she walked out.

He was in baggy jeans and a dark navy blue jacket.

"I'm here." Y/n ran up to him.

"Wow. You look pretty, who's the lucky guy?" Ni-Ki said in a teasing manner.

"I don't know, if we see him let me know." Y/n teased back.

Ni-Ki rolled his eyes playfully as she just took his arm and they walked down.✩

They arrived at the area. There was stalls and cafes with nice bright lights. It was new years after all.

"Soo.. where do you wanna go first?" Y/n smiled excitedly.

"We can go wherever you want. Do you wanna eat first or do something?" Ni-Ki asked.

"Hmm.. I'm not that hungry yet so let's go check out some activity stalls." Y/n cheered.

She dragged his arm along to a stall.

"Let's try this one!" She smiled at him.

Time passed and it got darker. It got a little colder aswell.

It was past 11pm and it was fully dark outside.

"Hey aren't the fireworks meant to start soon? It's almost midnight." Y/n said pointing out the obvious.

"Yeah. Follow me, I've got a good spot." Ni-Ki said as he took her hand

They headed onto the top of the hill next to where the festival was being held at.

Y/n was hand in hand with Ni-Ki as they walked up.

They reached the view point.

"Woah, this is crazy. How the hell did you find this place?" Y/n asked.

Ni-Ki shrugged.

"I'm a man with many surprises." Ni-Ki chuckled.

He looked over at her as she was staring off into the distance and view of the city.

He then brought his other hand from behind his back which he tried to hide for some time now.

"Y/n." He said.

"Hm?" Y/n said before turning to look at him.

He stood there looking at her in the eyes, with a big bouquet of various flowers.

"I want to officially ask you, so there won't be any confusion from now on. Will you be my girlfriend?- Actually scratch that-.. can I be yours?" Ni-Ki asked while looking at her full of love in his eyes and apologies that are still to be said from his heart.

Y/n smiled.

"I love you, and I will always love you. Yes, you can be mine, I will be yours. Keep your promise, I don't want another broken heart." Y/n smiled, accepting the flowers.

Ni-Ki smiled, engulfing her in a hug.

"Looks like the show is about to start." Ni-Ki said.

They both turned their heads at the plain night sky filled with stars.

"Let's count down." Ni-Ki said.

Soon they counted down the time left until New Years. The crowd waiting for the fireworks from the festival at the bottom of the hill was faintly heard in the background.

When the countdown reached 1.. the fireworks started. They filled the sky with vibrant colours, expressing each emotion anyone could possibly feel at the time.

Y/n smiled and turned to face Ni-Ki.

"Happy New Year Riki." Y/n smiled.

"Happy new year love." Ni-Ki said also smiling.

Y/n felt her heart warm up at the nickname.

"I'm sorry again, for everything I've put you through. I'll say this so it can all stay in the past and only happy moments will come for us." Ni-Ki said.

"I forgive you, it's time for a new beginning. But remember forgiveness comes with a promise to never repeat the same mistake." Y/n said.

Ni-Ki nodded.

"I understand, which is why I won't hurt you again." Ni-Ki said.

Y/n smiled.

"So are we gonna kiss or are you gonna keep looking at me like that because of sympathy?" Y/n chuckle.

Ni-Ki grinned.

"I don't pity you, however I am apologising. Will a kiss make you fully forgive me?" Ni-Ki asked with a wry smile on his face.

Y/n grinned.

"It might." She chuckled.

He rolled his eyes and pulled her into a kiss.

The fireworks exploded as they shared the same feeling and warmth of each other.

What a night.

"Thanks for walking me home Riki." Y/n smiled as she stood infront of her apartment building.

"Ofcourse. I have to protect you from this perverts in the area." Ni-Ki chuckled lightly.

"If there's any perverts in the area, it's you." Y/n teased.

Ni-Ki perked a brow, he walked a little closer to her, he leaned into her ear, towering over her.

"Oh yeah?" He said into her ear softly.

Y/n felt his presence a lot more now that he was standing infront of her so close and so much more taller than her.

"If you think that this is bad, you should see what else I'm really into." He said in a flirty tone, leaving it at that.

Y/n gulped.

"You're playing dirty." Y/n said.

"How so?" He grinned.

"You know I can't stand a chance to taller men." She huffed feeling her face heat up.

"I know, thats why I love doing it. Because it turns you on." He said leaning forward, being an inch away from her face.

She closed her eyes on instinct. He smirked while planting a kiss on her cheek. He then stood back up and stepped back.

"I'll see you soon Kina. Stay safe." He said grinning.

Y/n opened her eyes confused.

He waved while turning around proudly.

Y/n just stood there puzzled.

After he left she turned around and faced her building and covered her face as she felt it be burning red.

'I really thought he was gonna do something else.. am I the pervert?' She facepalmed while heading inside.
