Chapter 34 (Friends)

Jennie's POV:

I woke up because I feel a heavy weight on my shoulder and found that it's Lili. She's like a baby sleeping and what a heavy sleeper. I watch her sleeping for a  while caressing her hair and saw a scar on her head. I didn't mind it,  I fixed her position on a comfortable one so I can get up. Geez,  I need to pee. After peeing I wash my face and brush my teeth and went to the kitchen to prepare for our breakfast.

It's 8 AM, today is the weekend so I don't need to report at work. I saw Chaeng with her phone in the living room while watching TV. I greeted her.

Chaeng: Good morning, Jen. Hope you sleep well.

*She said smiling while sipping on her coffee*

Jennie: Yeah I did. Maybe I was so tired yesterday that's why. What do you want for breakfast, I can cook * she said while heading to the kitchen* How about pancakes?

Chaeng: That will be good, Jen! I didn't know that you're good at cooking.*she said and followed the brunette in the kitchen table.

Jennie: I learned it from our maids. When I was a kid I was always left by our parents alone with the maids. If I'm bored I will watch them cooking and help them. That's why I learned.

Chaeng: Oh nice. I and Lili didn't have a chance to learn. Our mom is very hands on to us. She used to cook always when we're still in Australia. When we transferred here we don't have a choice but to order foods outside.

Jennie: Do you have plans of going back to Australia? *she asked while she's flipping the pancakes on the pan*

Chaeng: I don't know. We like here, to be honest. And besides, we're in charge to look after our business here. We let Mom and Dad rest and focus on their personal lives. They have been working all of their lives and maybe it's about time for us to let them enjoy and not thinking about the company.

Jennie: Hope I could meet your parents soon.

Chaeng: For sure you will meet them. They will be here anytime soon to visit us. How about your parents, are where are they?

Jennie: They are also enjoying it since they turned over the company to me. I and my older brother is the one who's managing it. My parents right now are in New Zealand and having their vacation. Quick question, Chaeng. I hope you don't mind.

Chaeng: Yes sure go ahead.

Jennie: I saw a scar on Lili's head earlier,  happened what to it?

Chaeng: Oh that scar? She had an accident when we're kids. That's where she got it.

Jennie: I see * she's done cooking and arranging the cooked pancakes* I'm done cooking. Breakfast?

Chaeng: Smells good. Thanks, Unnie.

Lili appeared in the scene.

Lili: What did I just smell from my room? 

*She said smiling and went to Jennie,  giving her girl a back hug*

Jennie: Finally, you're awake. Good morning.

Lili: Good morning, baby.

The three fitted in the dining and had their breakfast while talking.

Jennie: Any plans this afternoon, guys?

"None so far" The two answered in unison.

Jennie: Jisoo and I are planning to meet our college friends later. Wanna join us?

Chaeng: Uhm. I'm okay with it 🙂

Lili: I have nothing to do so count me in.

Joy's POV:

Glad to be finally back in Korea. I stayed abroad for a couple of months to attend some business matters. Since the day that my parents transitioned the company to me, I have been so busy. Still,  lucky to like friends who never forget to keep in touch always. I'm on my way to our favorite cafe, I'll be meeting my friends. I'm wondering how are they now? I'm sure Seulgi and Irene are both happy now in each other's arms. Jisoo mentioned that finally, someone caught her attention and Jennie? She met someone who exactly looked like Lisa. I want to meet that girl. Speaking of Lisa, I missed that dork so much. I just arrived and finding a parking space. I went inside and saw the couple seated on our favorite spot, it's Seulgi and Irene who waved when they saw me coming.

Seulgi: Joy! Ohhh! Finally, you're here! We missed you so much! *She welcomes her with open arms*

Irene: It's been a while Joy! I hope you will stay longer here in Korea so we can see each other more often just like before. * Irene hugged her too*

Joy: I miss you too guys! Where Jen and Jisoo?

Irene: Jennie texted me that they're on their way. And I'm excited guess why?

Joy: Why?

Irene: we will meet Lisa's doppelganger. She's with them.

Joy: Woah! I'm excited.

Seulgi: I think here they are. *She saw Jisoo with someone entering the cafe,  she waved to them so the two can see them*

Jisoo: Joy!!!! Daebak! *she hugged her*

Joy: I miss you, baby!

Jisoo: Oh, by the way, *she released from the hug* Guys, I want you to meet Park Chaeyoung, she's our business partner and a close friend of mine and Jen.

*Seulgi coughs when Jisoo introduced Chaeng as her close friend*

Chaeng, meet my friends this is Seulgi, Irene and Joy.

Chaeng: Hi guys! Nice meeting you all and thanks for inviting us.

Irene: You looked familiar, did we meet already?

Seulgi: Yes. I think we saw you before Ahhhh! I remember! In Australia? That was 10 months ago you helped us when we're lost? It's you right?

Chaeng: *trying to recall* Uhm... I think so? Yes yes, I remember now.

Irene: What a small world! Nice meeting you again Chaeng *she gives her a hug*

Joy: Where is Jennie?

Jisoo: There! *she pointed Jennie who's clinging her arms to a tall girl while entering the cafe*

The girls are getting shivers when Jennie and Lili are coming nearer to their direction. They can't believe that Lili is exactly looked like Lisa from head to toe. They're amazed but remain silent. They talked that no mentioning of Lisa's name when Lili is around.

Jennie: Hi guys sorry we're late. Joy! * she gave her a hug* I miss you, dorks! She also hugged Seulgi and Irene who's sitting beside each other. Oh! This is Lili, *she introduces to them* my girlfriend.

Lili: It was nice to meet you all guys. Jennie has been mentioning you all always. *she said smiling*

" Gosh! She really likes Lisa,  can't believe it* Seulgi whispered to Irene

Jennie introduced her friend one by one. They had a very long conversation while eating the food that they ordered. Especially Joy since she's been away for quite a long time. She had a lot of stories to tell. Lili and Rose became more comfortable with the girls. The girls are very funny to be with and they make sure that the new friends will not be out of place on their chitchat.

Lili: Excuse me, just need to go in the washroom.

Chaeng: I will go with you, I wanna pee.

Jisoo: The washroom is on the right side

The two girls left so they had a chance to talk about them.

Seulgi: Daebak! She's like Lisa! Her voice, the way she talks I mean everything about her! I wasn't wrong when I told you guys that I saw Lisa in Australia when we had our vacation. It's Lili who we saw that time.

Joy: Even me, I can't stop staring at Lili. ow! I miss Lisa so much.

Jennie: Here they are. Please stop talking about Lisa. I haven't told them yet that she looked like her.

The girls had a fun long night. They didn't notice the time because they're laughing and talking none stop. It's already 10 PM when they checked the clock.

Joy: I really enjoyed tonight, Gays. Let's schedule another girl's night out!

Jisoo: Yeah. Looking forward to it.

They hugged each other before they separated ways.

Jennie: I will be riding on Joy's car since we live nearby.

Lili: Take care and message me once you got home.

Jennie: I will. *She gives her a kiss before she went inside the car*

Joy: Uwuuuuuuuuh! Respect to single folk, please.

Lili: I helped you to find love life, Joy. Just tell me what are your preferences. Do you swing both ways? HAHAHA.

And they laugh.
