Chapter 31 (Date)

"Hey, why are you late? Do you know what time is it already?" Chaeng scolded her.

"How are you my chipmunk".  Lili greeted her with a wide smile and give her a hug.

*It's already 11:30 PM and the two tried to chit chat in the living room while watching TV, Chaeng ordered a box of pizza to eat while she's waiting for Lili to come home*

Chaeng: How's the sightseeing with Jennie? We're you able to check all of the sites?

Lili: Yeah, it went really well.*she said smiling*

Chaeng: You look so happy, what happened? Spill the tea!!

Lili: After we visit the sites. We went on a date. I mean, she tours me around and brought me to the amusement park. Whatever do you call it, it's still a date form😄

Chaeng: How dare you go to the amusement park without me! *she smashed Lili's arm and pout*

Lili: Haha! Sorry, but maybe we can go back on some other time? Btw, how's your day with Jisoo?

Chaeng: It went well too. But we finished early and decided to separate ways after. She's friendly and funny, I love her company but sometimes if  I'm trying to be a bit clingy to her, she's trying to distance herself. I don't know what's the reason. I thought she's gay? Is she straight?

Lili: Poor chipmunk hahaha. Well, I know the reason why she's a bit distant to you.

Chaeng: Why? Do I smell bad? *tries to smell herself*

Lili:  Maybe?

Chaeng: Yaaah! Be serious!

Lili: Well, Jennie and Jisoo thought that we're a married couple.

Chaeng: What? Hahahahaha, are you serious?

Lili: Yeah. I actually confess to  Jennie what I feel towards her. I told her that I like her and I want to court her. But she became hesitant because she thought that I'm taken already.

Chaeng: You did? Woahh that was fast!

Lili: I explained to her everything that we're sisters and then after that, I think she allows me to court her. I told her that I'll be seeing her again tomorrow.

Chaeng: You're really a chic magnet my sister. I didn't imagine that everything will be as fast as this. Does it mean that you moved on already with Mina?

Lili: Yeah. I like Jennie so much, I told you. Well, Mina? It's been 6 months when we separated ways. After we broke up I tried flirting with other girls but you know that there are no feelings involved.it is just a fling. And my past relationship teaches me a great lesson. If you love someone,  tell them right away. Don't waste time. And that's what I'm doing.

Chaeng: A philosopher once said hahaha. You know that I'll support your dumb idea no matter what.

Lili: You will always be my favorite sister. I love you. *she hugs her*

Chaeng: Stop being a koala. That's why others thought that we're a couple because of how you interact with me.

Lili: Do you like, Jisoo? *she asks randomly*

Chaeng: I like her but I don't know if I like her as a friend or what. It's too early to say. I'm not like you who falls in love effortlessly

Lili: Whatever! I'm sure that I love Jennie and the case closed. I'll rest now, you stop eating. you already finished 2 boxes of Pizza.

*Lili headed to her room, she took a shower then decided to have a rest.*

Next Day

Jennie's POV

I woke up early today. What happened last night is still fresh on my mind. I can still feel Lili's lips in mind. Everything was quick but I don't care. I like her because she looks like Lisa yes? But there's something on her that made me fell for her hastily. I need to talk to Kai. I need to talk with him the soonest. I checked my phone and it's only 7 AM. Still no text from Lili,  she's maybe still sleeping. I'm not sure if she's serious that she will meet me again today but hopefully, she is.*I said with crossed fingers*

I arrived at the office and the employees greeted me. I ask my secretary to buy me a coffee and breakfast in the nearby cafeteria, I'm checking out some emails when someone entered my office without even knocking.

" Good morning,  early-bird" Jisoo greeted me.

"Yah! You don't know how to knock?" I replied

" You don't know how to lock the door"She fought back.

Jennie: You have breakfast already? I asked Momo to buy me some, do you want me to call her to add?

Jisoo: Coffee will do. How's the meeting with Lisa's looked like yesterday?

Jennie: It was awesome* showing her gummy smile*

Jisoo: What's with the smile? Cmon spill it

Jennie: Lili confess last night.*she said while her attention is on her laptop*

Jisoo: Jisoo's Christ! But you just met her 4 days ago and you know her relationship with Rose'

Jennie: Rose' is her sister that's why they share the same surname and lived together.

Jisoo: What!? *her eyes went big open*

Jennie: hahaha same reaction as mine when Lili told me.

Jisoo: I though they are...

Jennie: We thought! Haha but now everything's cleared.

Jisoo: So I still have a chance with Chaeng *she smiles* but Jennie,  are you sure of your feelings to Lili? Maybe you just like her because of Lisa's memory?

Jennie: I don't know. But one thing I'm sure with. I want to be with her always.

Jisoo: How about Kai? You just started dating him?

Jennie: I'll talk to him later. He messages me that he will be here at lunchtime.

The two stopped talking when someone knocked on the door.

"Good morning, here's the coffee". it's Momo her Secretary.

"Thanks, Momo. Do I have any meetings today?" Jennie asked

"Your schedule is cleared, Ms.Kim. aside from the documents that you need to sign. I'll prepare it and will hand it to you after an hour". Momo answered

" Thanks, Momo. You may go now". Jennie instructed

Momo bows and proceeded to her station which is situated in front of Jennie's office. Jisoo also headed to her office which is on the right of the CEO's office. She left Jennie who's busy answering a bulk of emails from clients and business partners. It's already lunchtime and still no shadow of Lili showing up or any message from the girl. She was startled when someone knocks on her wooden door.

"come in" she shouted while still busy signing the documents that Momo gave her.

"Hi, babe". It's Kai.

The guy walks closer to her and gave her a kiss, supposed to be on her lips but since she moved her face away it landed to her cheeks.

" Lunch outside?" Kai asked her.

"Ne, just let me finished and saved this".  She answered and fake a smile.

" I miss you".Kai is at her back and massaging her shoulder, he also starting to plant some kisses on her neck.

"Hmm. Not here, someone might saw us". Jennie protested

" So what, everyone knows that I'm courting you and we're dating. Sooner or later you will be my girlfriend".

Kai confidently answered while he is still massaging her shoulders.

"Let's go? Let's grab some lunch"? Jennie changes the topic.

They went to a restaurant nearby. Kai holds Jennie's hand.

"They look a perfect couple" they heard one of the employees whispered.

Kai smiled at them and held Jennie's hand higher.

They arrived at the resto and they fitted on the corner near the window. Kai called the waiter and they ordered their meal.

Kai: How's your meeting yesterday?

Jennie: Hmm good *she answered while munching her food*

Kai: Do you have any plans this weekend? I booked a flight for two. Let's have a vacation 😊

Jennie: Kai, I need to tell you something.

Kai: Yes. It's okay if you have plans this weekend we can reschedule the trip.*his attention is on his food*

Jennie: Kai, let's stop this.

Kai: What do you mean to stop this? *He looked at Jennie*

Jennie: Let's stop this dating thing.

Kai: What? But we just started, Jen. It's too early to give up.

Jennie: That's why I wanted to stop as early as this. I think this will not gonna work. I want to be fair to you Kai. I don't want to take advantage of your kindness and your feelings towards me. You're a great guy but I only see you as a friend and not more than that. I'm sorry.

Kai: How can you do this to me, Jen! *his mood and tone changes*

Jennie: I'm really sorry, Kai. *, fortunately, her phone rings and a great way to excuse herself*

I need to answer this call and I think I have to go now.

*Jennie left Kai alone in the resto. The latter just watch her walking away.*

"Hello?" Jennie answered the call.

"Hi, Did I disturb you? I miss you already that's why I called"

"Lili? Oh. No, it's fine. I'm on lunch break right now". Jennie answered sweetly

"I'll pick you up later? Can you go out for dinner with me?" Lili asked

"Yeah. Sure. I'll see you later". Then Jennie hung up.

Lili's POV:

It's already 11 AM when I woke up. Chaeng message me that she went out to meet a client.

I called Jennie and luckily she answered the phone. Just so happy to hear her voice first thing in the morning. I take a bath and fix myself. I have some commitments to attend this afternoon. I'm not really hands-on when it comes to our family business, Chaeng is more engaged in it and I'm just helping her. I'm more on doing my passions which is more on photography and dancing. I am happy because mom and dad allow me to do it. Also, with Chaeng because she is very supportive of me at the same time.

I'll have a photoshoot this afternoon to one of my clients for a magazine cover. And after that, I will be meeting Jennie. I'm serious when I said that I will be courting her.I choose to wear a black hoodie and denim pants partnered with white sneakers. I also wear my favorite beanie.

I arrived in the studio 30 mins, before the shoot. I cleaned the lenses of my camera and adjusted it. Some of my staff are also here I asked them to arrange everything so we can start early and leave early at the same time.

My client arrived around 2 PM and we started the shoot. The theme of the shoot is summer.

We've been doing the shoot for almost 3 hours including the break. It's already passed 5 when we packed up. I thank everyone and hurriedly drive to Jennie's office.

I texted her that I'm already in the parking area and waiting for her. After 15 minutes the beautiful CEO appeared.

"Hey, sorry for keeping you wait".Jennie said

"You know that I will always wait for you no matter what". Lili answered and lean closer to give her a kiss on cheeks. She opened the car door in the shotgun.

" Thank you".Jennie answered blushing.

They have dinner at Namsan tower. Lili research about this place.

Jennie: How did you know about this?

Lili: Thanks to Google? *she chuckles* Hope you like it. I'm not really familiar with some attractions here. But I hope I found a perfect spot for the two of us.

Jennie: Don't say that. I'm okay anywhere as long as I'm with you *she held Lili's hand*.Lili: I didn't know that you have that cheesy side huh.

Jennie: Haha. I'm not being cheesy. Btw, you owned that camera?

Lili: ahh here? *shows the camera* Yes I owned it. I forgot to mention that I also work as a photographer. I did the shoot this afternoon before meeting you.

Jennie: Ohhhh *her mouth shapes a perfect letter O* Can I be your model sometimes?

Lili: I will be glad too. Let's schedule it?

Jennie: Sure. Just let me check and clear my schedule first.

Lili: Is it hard being a CEO at a young age?

Jennie: Hmm. Not that hard. When I was a kid I already expected that I will be doing this kind of stuff. So I made my self prepared before entering the corporate world.

They talked and get to know each other while having dinner. After eating they visited the Teddy Bear Museum and some other attractions. Lili is jumping like a kid like Jennie. It's Lili's first time in the place while Jennie has been here already before but with Jisoo. They also visit the Love Padlock garden and locked their hearts their after that they take a photo in the Love Chair.

It's already 10 PM when Lili drives Jennie home.

Lili: I really enjoyed the time we spent together today. Being with you makes me incredibly happy. You make me feel like a million bucks. I have been so much happier since we started spending time together. When I told you that I like you and I want to court you, I mean it.Jennie didn't answer and just staring at Lili lovingly.

Lili: Aren't you going to say anything? Is there any dirt on my face?

Jennie: Ani,  thanks, Lili for today and for bringing back happiness in my life.

*she caress Lili's faces*

Lili lean closer to her and give her a romantic kiss. Jennie welcomes her tongue to her mouth's entrance. She can't understand herself being addicted to Lili's lips. She closes her eyes and she feels that it tastes like Lisa's lips. They are both panting when they pulled from the long kiss.

Jennie: I have to go now. Please take care!

She opened and car door and walk towards the house gate.

"Jennie!" Lili called her that makes her look back to the latter.

"Ne?" Jennie answered smiling.

"Sarangheo❤"

Lili shouted back. She smirks before she started her car engine.
