Chapter 24 (Bye)

"Lisa"?Jennie surprisingly enunciates.

"But how did.... ".She didn't finished what she's about to say when Lisa comes nearer and covered her lips with her lips.

"Happy Anniversary, my boo".Lisa greeted her while smiling lovingly.

Jennie is just starring at Lisa she can't believe that the love of her life is in her front.

"I'm sorry for keeping everything to you, I'm sorry for making you cry and for the hardships that I brought to your life, sometimes in life shit really happens but believe me when I say I love you, I mean it". Lisa is still smiling while she's caressing Jennie's face.

"What happened, Lisa? How did this happen. It's not that I don't like you to be here but, it's just I can't believe and you're here with me. That you're back in my arms".She uttered and hugged her.

"let's not talk about it for now, what important is we're together".Lisa hugged her back tightly

Jennie nod to agree.

"I miss you so much".Jennie said while she's lying on Lisa's shoulder and hugging the latter they're both lying comfortably in bed.

"I miss you too times to the square root of 500. Time flew so fast. It's been 1 year when we decided to date and love each other. That's the most cheerfullest day of my life." Lisa stated

"Me too, when you broke up with me a few months back I thought this will not happen again. I'm happy and thank you for coming back".

"Jennie, I will always come back to you because you're my home. You're the one who showed me how love, at first sight, feels like. You are the most stunning girl I've ever seen and you simply caught me with your gummy smile. You have always seen me through my heart and I can't believe that someone like you will love me for who I am. I am a nobody compared to you. There are a lot of guys out there who falls easily into you. I was so lucky that you chose me. I felt like I was the happiest girl in the world the day that you said you love me. You are someone so beautiful inside and out, someone who has her eyes on me and only me. God knows how much I wanted to be with you. God knows how I long each day for you to just be in my arms, to protect you from your pain. Sarangheo, Jennie Kim".Lisa stated.

"You know how much I love you too, Lisa.Happy Anniversary. I can't wait to live my life with you forever. I can't wait for the day to come that I will be waking up in your arms and your face is the first thing that will welcome me in the morning".Jennie sweetly answered back

Lisa leaned her face down and Jennie look up to reach the latter's face. They shared a sweet kiss. The kiss that they have been craving lately. It was sweet, passionate and burning. They pulled from a long kiss and Jennie buried her face on Lisa's neck until she fell asleep. She feels so safe on the blonde's arm.

"One last hug, from the girl who is my life's drug. One last cuddle, to the girl who makes my happiness double. One last kiss, from the girl who I'm going to miss. xoxo, I want to hug you for the last time and let you know my heart still beats only for you!" Lisa uttered and she also fell asleep.

7 AM Jennie woke up she saw Lisa sleeping peacefully and she smiled. Someone knocked on her door and shouted

"Someone's downstair and looking for you".

She kisses the girl beside her and stood up. The door is no longer lock, her parents just left for another business trip. She went downstairs and she saw Jisoo's figure in the living room.

She walked towards Jisoo smiling but the latter showed her a sad face.

Jennie: Unnie, I have something to tell you *she smiled*

Jisoo: Me too Jen, I have something to tell you.

Jennie: Okay you first, she said with energy.

Jisoo: Lisa is gone. She passed away last night.

Jennie: Huh? C'mon Unnie. That's not a good joke. Lisa is here! I'm with her since last night. We sleep together and we're back together. Please Unnie, stop pranking me. She's in my room sleeping. I'll show you.

Jisoo just cried and hugged Jennie which leave the latter confused.

Jisoo: She's dead Jen. *Cries hard*

Jennie: She's not! I told you, I'm with here!!She runs to her room to check Lisa.

Jisoo sat down and burst out crying.

Jennie opened her room. She's surprised because there's no Lisa on her bed, she checked the bathroom and every corner of her room but Lisa is nowhere to be found.

"Lisa! C'mon this is not funny, don't hide Jisoo Unnie is here".She's starting to cry

"Lisa"!!!! She shouted and everything went blank. Jennie fainted.

30 minutes passed when Jennie is back on her consciousness. She saw Seulgi, Irene, and Joy together with Jisoo.

"You're awake "!Irene hugged her

Jennie noticed everyone's aura. They all look sad and their eyes are swollen.

Jennie: Is Lisa back?

Joy: Jisoo is telling the truth, Lisa's gone and we have to accept it even it hurts so much.

Jennie: But I told you, I'm with her!! *her voice raised and she started crying again*

The girls hugged her.

Jisoo: The day that you left when your dad drag you home. I just arrived in the hospital and Lisa seizures. She became stable after. Next day, I went home because I'm not feeling well... I wasn't able to go back that night, I rested and unfortunately, Lisa's picture fell from the wall. I got nervous, I tried calling Tita but she's not picking up even Tito. Even I'm not feeling well, I decided to go to the hospital in the morning.

When I arrived, Lisa's bed is empty already. I saw her mom crying and fixing the hospital bills. I already had a bad feeling. I asked what happened and Tita just hugged me and whispered: "Lisa's gone, she didn't make it".

I have the same reactions as yours, Jennie. I asked her where's Lisa because I want to see her for the last time but Tita mentioned that they already cremated her and they took her ashes to their ancestor's grave in Busan.

Tita and Tito weren't able to inform us because everything happens so fast and that's Lisa's wish when she's still living. I just found out everything today, I called the girls and informed them what happened. I tried calling you but you're out of coverage that's why we insisted to visit you to tell everything. Lisa's mom and dad are in Busan right now. Will be going there.

Jennie has no reaction. She can't believe. She doesn't know how to feel. Her heart has been numb already. She has been through a lot.

Irene crying and Seulgi comforted her. While Joy is leaning on Jisoo's shoulder. Jennie is staring blankly in the car window. They're now on their way to Busan. After an hour of drive, they arrived at the cemetery. They saw a familiar figure cleaning the grave. The girls walk together and trying to comfort each other.

"Tita".Jisoo uttered

The lady in the late 30s hugged them, it's Lisa's mom.

"I'm sorry, girls everything went fast". Lisa's mom tried to speak. I'm sorry if I wasn't able to inform you all. I'm sorry for not letting you see Lisa for the last time, I know you would love to but it's her wish so I need to do it. I misplaced my phone the day that Lisa started to seizures. And my mind went blank. I can't think well too, I never imagined that this will happened as fast as this".

The girls comforted her and hugged.

"Where's Tito "? Irene is referring to Lisa's Dad.

"He's on his flight now to Australia, he goes first and I will follow after I settled everything here. We decided to live there for the meantime or for good so we can move on to what happened".The lady answered.

Jennie comes close to the grave she touches it and saw a name printed on it "Lalisa Manoban " only name without date of birth or date of death. Plainly name.

Jennie's POV:

Things rip me apart. Am I dreaming? Is this really happening? But what happened last night is still fresh. I can still feel your hugs and kisses. I can still hear your voice and laughter. If this is a nightmare, someone please wake me up. A memory that slices in gently, takes me to my knees like I am falling again and just before I hit bottom, my heart is shaken into a clean slate. It pains right here, *pointing at my chest* It feels as if a thousand knives are digging through my heart. Why am I hurting again and again? But maybe, I'll see you in another life. And perhaps in that life, we will be together. Perhaps in that life, we will be two wild animals. Birds even. Flying somewhere. Wherever the wind takes us. Together. Or maybe we'll come back as dogs or butterflies or dolphins or cats. Who knows right? Or maybe we'll come back as we are. But this time it will be different. This time will just know and we'll give everything we have to make it work. I don't know how I will going to continue my life, can I go with you instead?

Jisoo and Joy tapped her back.

"Take these".Lisa's mom gave them a letter. And Jennie this is yours she gave an OTG. I have to go now, hope to meet you again.

"I will miss you mom ".Jisoo hugged the lady.

It's getting dark and the girls decided to drive home. What happened today is so heavy. They're now riding in a car. They all remain silent. No one has the energy to speak and break the silence.
