Chapter 8: Heated Battle! Gingka Vs Kyoya!
06:01, 24 March 2025The storm clouds rumbled ominously as lightning streaked across the night sky, casting a jagged light over the B-pit.
Inside, the atmosphere was tense. Gingka, Haruka, and Madoka huddled together, the distant thunder echoing their unease.
Madoka glanced out the window, her brow furrowed. "Seems like a storm is coming."
Gingka, his eyes fixed on his Beyblade, nodded absently. "I know."
Haruka, standing by the window, felt a chill despite the warm room. Her grip tightened around her Beyblade as she stared out into the encroaching darkness.
Suddenly, the door creaked open, and the three of them whipped around in alarm. Their surprise was palpable when they saw Kenta stumbling in, carrying a bruised and battered Benkei.
"Help, Gingka! Haruka!" Kenta gasped, his voice strained. He fell to his knees, Benkei collapsing onto the floor.
"Benkei!" Gingka shouted, rushing over with Haruka right behind him. They helped Kenta and Benkei. ....
Madoka quickly moved into action, grabbing a first aid kit and some water.
Kenta's eyes were clouded with worry.
Gingka spoke grimly, "Kyoya... he disbanded the Face Hunters,"
Haruka placed a damp cloth on Benkei's forehead, her face a mask of concern. "And did this to Benkei....?"
Madoka, tending to Benkei's wounds, asked, "But why? They were comrades..."
Kenta shook his head, his expression dark. "I don't know. He was different. Something has happened to him."
Benkei's voice was faint but firm. "G-Gingka... come closer."
Gingka knelt beside Benkei, his face etched with concern. "Easy, Benkei."
"You shouldn't talk." Kenta added.
Haruka added, "Yeah, don't push yourself. Just rest."
Benkei's eyes, though heavy with fatigue, were resolute. "Kyoya isn't himself. He's not the kind of person who would do this without a reason. Something bad has happened to him. Please... show him the true meaning of Bey Blading."
Haruka's eyes glistened with unshed tears. "He still cares about Kyoya, even after... everything."
Gingka's expression softened, though his resolve remained unshaken. He looked at his sister and Kenta, their worried faces mirroring his own concerns. "We will, Benkei. I promise."
Benkei's faint smile was a mixture of relief and exhaustion. He closed his eyes, succumbing to the weariness.
The room fell silent except for the occasional rumble of thunder. The four of them stood in the dim light, thinking they lost their friend.
Then, an unexpected sound broke the silence-Benkei began to snore softly.
Gingka, Haruka, Madoka, and Kenta exchanged puzzled looks, their somber expressions replaced with small, bewildered smiles.
Sweat droplets appeared on their brows as they realized Benkei was peacefully asleep despite the chaos. ...
Outside, the storm raged with renewed fury. Kyoya stood atop a high pillar, his silhouette stark against the stormy sky. He roared into the wind, his voice filled with a mix of anger and determination.A malicious smirk spreading across his face. Lightning crackled around him, emphasizing his dark resolve. ...
The storm intensified as Gingka, Haruka, Madoka, and Kenta stood in front of B-pit.
Haruka looked at Gingka with concern. "Are you going?"
"Yes." Gingka nodded firmly, the resolve in his eyes unwavering. "I need to bring Kyoya back to his senses."
Kenta, though worried, trusted Gingka's confidence. "B-but..."
Gingka turned to his Beyblade, patting it reassuringly. "Don't worry, we won't lose. Right, Pegasis?"
Haruka smiled, her fiery scarf fluttering dramatically in the wind. ...
As the group headed towards the arena, they reached the entrance to a chilling sensation washed over them.
Gingka felt a piercing gaze and looked up. The storm's lightning illuminated the figure of Kyoya standing high above, his eyes filled with malevolent intent.
Kyoya's smirk widened as he glared down at them, his aura dark and foreboding.
Gingka, Haruka, Madoka, and Kenta braced themselves, their resolve steeled by the storm and the looming confrontation.
The battle was set to be more than just a test of strength; it would be a test of their spirit and the true meaning of Bey Blading. ...
The B-pit arena was a maelstrom of anticipation and tension. The LED lights cast a stark, artificial brightness over the stadium, their glow piercing through the darkened sky outside.
Madoka, Kenta, and Haruka sat in the stands, their faces reflecting the gravity of the situation.
The arena was alive with the roar of the storm and the electrifying atmosphere of the impending battle. Gingka and Kyoya stood in the center of the arena, their eyes locked in a fierce showdown.
"Kyoya Tategami." Gingka called out looking stern and determined.
"Gingka Hagane," Kyoya sneered, his voice dripping with disdain. "We meet again. Today, I will defeat you until you beg for mercy."
Gingka's face was a mask of determination. "This is not what Beyblading is about."
Kyoya raised a mocking eyebrow. "Oh really? Then what is it about?"
Gingka tightened his grip on his launcher, his voice steady. "We'll show you. Pegasis and I."
Kyoya's smirk grew wider as he prepared his own Beyblade and launcher. "Oh, we'll see about that."
Haruka, perched in the stands, watched with growing concern. Her brother's transformation was baffling, and the sight of Kyoya's malevolent smirk unsettled her deeply. She could only hope that Gingka's words would reach Kyoya and bring him back from the brink.
As the two Bladers readied their launchers, the arena fell into a tense silence. The countdown began.
"3, 2, 1-let it rip!"
Both Beyblades shot into the stadium with a burst of energy.
The clash of metal resonated through the arena as Pegasis and Leone collided with tremendous force. ...
Meanwhile, in a lavish mansion far from the chaos, a mysterious man watched the battle unfold on a large screen.
He ate his dinner with an air of detached amusement, his eyes glinting with interest as he observed the confrontation. ...
In the stadium, Gingka and Kyoya were locked in a fierce exchange.
Gingka's voice rang out over the clamor of the battle. "How could you do that to Benkei, weren't you friends!"
Kyoya's response was a cruel laugh. "He's not even worth my time. I've moved beyond that weakling."
With a scowl, Kyoya summoned Leone's attack, the lion's power sending Pegasis skidding back.
Gingka struggled to regain control as Leone unleashed a small tornado, its wind force pushing Pegasis away.
Gingka tried to counter, but the tornado only grew larger, swallowing Pegasis in its gusts.
Gingka knew he needed to act quickly. He remembered how he defeated Kyoya before and aimed high.
"Pegasis, let's end this. Star Blast Attack!"
Pegasis soared into the sky, glowing with energy as it descended, targeting the center of the tornado.
But Kyoya was ready. "Bad move," as Gingka looked concerned, "Those days in the wolf canyon helped me discover powers I never knew I had!"
Haruka looked on worried realizing, "No! It won't work! that's not the lion gale force wall!"
"Witness my new special move," With a confident grin, Kyoya called out. "Lion Wild Wind Fang Dance!"
The tornado intensified, its winds becoming a chaotic storm.
Pegasis was caught in the heart of the tempest, its feathers ripped away by the force.
Gingka tried to maneuver Pegasis out, but the tornado's might was overwhelming.
Madoka, observing from the stands, analyzed Kyoya's newfound strength. "This power... it's beyond anything we've seen before. What happened to him?"
Haruka could only watch in horror, her heart pounding. She wished for Kyoya's return and hoped Gingka's determination would be enough to turn the tide.
As the tornado raged, it seemed to suck all light from the arena, its winds battering Pegasis.
Gingka's resolve was tested as he struggled to keep Pegasis steady amidst the onslaught. ...
Around the city, people looked up from their homes, restaurants, and streets, their eyes drawn to the swirling storm over the stadium.
The storm's fury was a spectacle that left them speculating about the intense battle taking place within. ...
Back at the stadium, Pegasis continued to falter under the relentless assault.
Its feathers were being torn away with every hit, and Gingka was at his limit. He stood on the edge of the stadium, trying to shield himself from the storm's fury, wondering what his next move should be. ...
In the stands, Haruka's anxiety reached its peak. Her worry was palpable as she watched her brother being battered by the storm.
"Gingka..." Kenta and Madoka shared her distress, their faces etched with concern.
The storm's intensity mirrored their fears for Gingka's safety.
Suddenly, a voice cut through their anxiety.
"Hey, no flinching! Keep it together!" They turned to see Benkei, who had managed to make his way to the stands despite his injuries. His presence was unexpected but powerful. "What would Gingka say if he saw you like this?"
Benkei said, his eyes fixed on Haruka. "You're his sister. It's your duty to call out to him when he needs you the most."
Haruka stared at Benkei, her eyes widening as realization dawned.
Determination replaced her fear as she turned back to the battlefield, her voice resolute. "He's right. I have to help him."
As the tornado's rage continued, Haruka's encouragement spurred her into action. She knew she had to rally her brother's spirit.
The storm in the arena seemed to rage even more fiercely as if responding to her newfound resolve. ...
The storm raged on outside, its fury mirrored by the intensity of the battle within the arena.
The LED lights cast stark shadows across the stadium as Gingka and Kyoya faced off, their Beyblades clashing with a cacophony of sound.
Suddenly, the atmosphere shifted. Haruka's eyes widened in surprise as familiar faces began to appear in the stands.
Kenta's friends, the Face Hunters, Hikaru, Tetsuya, and more-all of them had gathered to cheer for Gingka.
Their presence was a powerful reminder of the bonds they had forged and the support that surrounded them.
Haruka's heart swelled with gratitude. These friends, who had shared battles and struggles, were here now, rallying behind Gingka. She felt a surge of resolve as she turned her gaze back to the battlefield.
"Gingka! You can do it! We believe in you! I believe in you! Show him what you've got!"
Gingka glanced up, catching the determined look in his sister's eyes and the support from the crowd.
A smile crossed his face. The realization hit him like a wave-he was not fighting alone.
Then, an unusual sound caught Gingka's attention. "Someone's crying," he said, his voice almost lost in the storm's roar.
Haruka, Kyoya, and everyone else looked at him in confusion.
Kyoya's eyes narrowed in suspicion. "What are you talking about?"
Gingka's focus was fixed on Leone. The cry was coming from Kyoya's Beyblade, and Gingka understood its significance. Even Leone, Kyoya's loyal partner, wanted to help him and wished for him to return to his true self.
The storm intensified, Kyoya called forth his next move with fierce determination. "King Lion Tearing Blast!"
The tornado in the stadium split into three massive funnels, each one swirling menacingly and threatening to engulf everything in its path.
Pegasis was buffeted by the relentless tornadoes, struggling to keep its balance.
The crowd roared in support. "Pegasis! Pegasis!"
Haruka's voice cut through the chaos. "You can do it, Pegasis!"
Kyoya's frustration boiled over. "Enough with all this yelling! It's pointless!"
Gingka, his resolve unshaken, countered, "It's not pointless. Destroying your opponent isn't what Beyblading is about. I tried to face you with just my strength, but I was wrong. Beyblading isn't something you can get stronger at alone. Every friend, every competitor, they all offer something in a battle. I have my friends cheering behind me, so how can I lose? I'll take it all-your strength, your anger, and Leone's sadness."
With renewed determination, Gingka lifted his gaze to the sky. "Pegasis!"
Pegasis, momentarily bouncing off the tornadoes, gathered speed and momentum, drawing power from Kyoya's own attack.
"Pegasis's spin is increasing!" Madoka said analyzing.
"He's making use of the tornado's power to increase his own speed!" Benkei added.
"Pegasis is accepting all of Leone's power." Haruka said hopeful.
"What did you say?!" growled Kyouya at Gingka.
"When I accept all the energy you had it allowed me to become stronger! I can even recover all of the feathers that Pegasis lost!" Gingka responded, his bey forming a small wall of the wind created by Leone.
Kyouya scowled. "That's impossible! What can someone like you possibly understand about me?! Try this on for size?!" he roared out, resembling to his Leone.
The storm grew even more ferocious as Kyoya prepared a stronger assault.
The three tornadoes combined into one gigantic vortex, threatening to overwhelm Pegasis completely.
Pegasis struggled against the overwhelming tornado, Gingka found himself on the edge of his limits.
The massive storm raged around him, and the tornadoes' force was nearly insurmountable.
Pegasis was on the brink of being completely consumed. ..
In the stands, Haruka's anxiety reached a fever pitch. Her brother was in danger, and she wished she could do more. The crowd watched in stunned silence, awaiting the next move....
The mysterious man in his mansion, savoring his meal, watched with a satisfied smirk. He had hoped for this moment-Kyoya's strength overwhelming Gingka, just as he had planned. ...
Kyoya laughs maniacally when he realizes he has won against his worst enemy, Gingka. "Serves you right! Whatever you blabber on about, this is reality. This time the match has been decided. Right, Gingka?"
Gingka remained unfazed however, the latter still looking confident. "Its not over yet. Pegasis is still spinning."
"Don't be ridiculous!" snarled Kyoya with annoyance. "How could you possibly know that?"
"Because I can hear Pegasis call to me!" Gingka exclaimed, raising his arm up high.
From the depths of the sky, emerged Pegasis with its wings restored fully, glowing majestically as ever. The crowd smiled at the sight, some even gasping in shock.
Haruka smiled, seeing the ethereal horse. "Pegasis!"
Gingka shouted out, "Stars connect to stars, and constellations are formed. Beys connect to other beys, and bonds are formed. A Bey battle isn't about destroying your opponent; it's about creating friendship through battling together!"
Kyoya scoffed, dismissing Gingka's words. "I don't need friends! I survived alone in the wilderness! I've always been alone!"
Gingka shook his head. "You weren't alone! Remember the Blader Spirit you took with you but left back in the wilderness!"
With those words, Gingka called upon Pegasis once more. The constellation of Pegasis shone brightly as the Beyblade descended from the sky, radiating a powerful aura.
"Meteor Shower Attack!" Gingka declared.
Pegasis, glowing with celestial energy, charged through the King lion tearing blast. The meteoric attack hit Leone head-on.
Kyoya's eyes widened in shock as Leone was knocked back, and memories of his childhood flashed before him- 'That's right...' Kyoya thought, remembering, 'You've always been there... by my side.' the moments he spent with Leone, the bond they shared. ...
As the storm began to clear, Kyoya stood alone in the arena, surrounded by the aftermath of the battle.
Pegasis lay still spinning, but it was clear that the fight was over. The crowd erupted into cheers.
Haruka's voice rang out with relief and joy. "It's over! Gingka won!"
Kyoya looked down at Leone, his face softening. The fierce, determined glare was replaced by a look of realization. As he picked up Leone, he understood now that he was never truly alone.
The bond he had with Leone, and the support from others, was what mattered. Kyoya brought Leone close, his eyes reflecting a mix of emotions-regret, understanding, and a hint of gratitude. He had lost, but in that loss, he had found something more valuable.
As the crowd erupted into applause and cheers, the atmosphere inside the arena was filled with relief and joy.
The intense battle had concluded, and Gingka stood victorious.
Haruka, overwhelmed with happiness for her brother's win and Kyoya's return to his true self, couldn't contain her excitement. She jumped from the stands down.
Ignoring the dull ache in her feet from her hasty descent, she sprinted across the arena floor.
Her heart raced with every step as she reached Gingka, who was still catching his breath from the exhausting battle.
Without a second thought, Haruka leaped into his arms, enveloping him in a heartfelt embrace.
"Huh- hey!" Gingka exclaimed, stumbling back slightly from the sudden impact. He quickly placed a hand behind her, holding her securely as she clung to him.
"You did it, Gingka! You were amazing!" Haruka exclaimed, her voice brimming with pride and emotion.
Gingka's smile widened as he gently returned the embrace. "Thanks, Haruka. I couldn't have done it without everyone's support."
Kyoya, still catching his breath from the fierce battle, looked up to see the heartfelt moment between the siblings.
Haruka, pulling away from Gingka, smiled warmly at him. "That was a great battle. You were both amazing."
Kyoya's eyes were drawn to Haruka, who radiated genuine warmth and sincerity. He blinked, clearly surprised by her reaction.
"Glad to see you're back to your old self again," Haruka continued, placing a hand over her chest. "You had everyone worried."
"Huh?" Kyoya asked, confused.
"Look," Haruka said, gesturing towards the stands.
Kyoya's gaze followed her hand, and his eyes widened in astonishment.
The stands were filled with cheering faces-people who had supported him and Gingka. The Face Hunters were among them, cheering for Kyoya with genuine enthusiasm. Even Benkei, with tears streaming down his face, was shouting his friend's name, "Kyoya!"
The crowd chanted, their voices filled with encouragement and support, as they applauded both the bladers.
Kyoya stood in stunned silence, absorbing the wave of appreciation and respect from the crowd, even though Gingka had won. It was a moment of recognition he hadn't anticipated.
"See?" Haruka said, her warm smile never fading, as she spread out her arms wide, the starry sky above her shimmering, "When constellations gather and unite, their combined radiance lights a path to the shared vision of tomorrow."
Kyoya stared at Haruka, the intensity in his ocean-blue eyes softening. Her words struck a chord deep within him, and for the first time, he felt a new sense of understanding and connection.
The harsh glare in his eyes faded, replaced by a glimmer of something he had rarely felt before-hope.
Gingka, witnessing the transformation in his rival, chuckled softly agreeing with his sister.
Kenta, observing from the stands, grinned. He saw the similarities between Gingka and Haruka's ideals and their shared belief in the power of bonds and friendship through Beyblading.
Just as the emotional moment was reaching its peak, an unexpected noise interrupted the celebration.
A helicopter descended from the stormy skies, casting an ominous shadow over the arena.
The crowd murmured in confusion, their excitement turning to apprehension.
Kyoya turned, his expression darkening as he recognized the helicopter. "That helicopter-?!"
Gingka and Haruka exchanged glances, their previous elation replaced by wary anticipation.
They watched as the helicopter landed not far from where Kyoya stood.
The door of the helicopter slid open, revealing a figure who was both familiar and unsettling.
The man who emerged from the helicopter was the same one who had taken Kyoya away previously. He stepped out with an air of arrogance, slowly clapping his hands as if applauding the recent battle.
A butler followed closely behind, holding a glass of orange juice, which the man accepted with a smug smile.
The crowd fell silent, the atmosphere thick with tension as the man addressed them. "That was a fabulous dinner," he said, taking a sip from his glass. "Let's toast to victory and feast on our welcoming party, Haruka and Gingka." He raised his glass in a mocking salute.
Gingka, struggling to keep his emotions in check, stared at the man with a mixture of shock and anger.
Haruka, her face contorted with remembered hatred, clenched her fists. "You-!" she whispered, her voice trembling with recognition.
"You're Doji!"
The name hung heavily in the air, the revelation sinking in with a cold, hard impact. As it was awaited to be seen who this man was and how did the siblings know him.
