Naya Rivera’s POV

The next morning when Heather and I arrived on set, Dianna immediately pulled me away. ‘What is it now, Di?’

‘Did you guys talk?’ Dianna dragged me around the corner.

‘No, we didn’t.’ Dianna sighed. ‘Look, Di, I really appreciate that you’re looking out for me but I’m 23 years old, I can take care of myself.’ I started walking away.

‘Naya, wait.’ I turned around.

‘Seriously, Di, leave Heather and I alone.’ I stormed off and looked for Heather.

I saw Heather leaning awkwardly against the food table. She was staring at her shoes. As I walked towards her, I noticed how well my clothes looked on her. She looked up and noticed me staring at her. She smiled and blushed before straightening up. I hugged her tightly.

‘Thank god, you’re here. Everyone keeps on staring at me as if I’m an alien. Is my hair messed up? Do I have something on my face?’ Heather grabbed my arm.

I chuckled. ‘You look amazing, Heather. Don’t let what anyone else thinks change that.’ Heather blushed and looked down. I put my finger under her chin, making her look up at me. ‘They’re probably staring at you because you’re wearing my clothes.’ I smiled at Heather. ‘Which look beautiful on you.’ I added.

‘But that still doesn’t make sense, why do they stare at me because I’m wearing your clothes?’

‘Because I never let anyone wear my clothes.’ Heather smiled at me and I smiled back. ‘I got you something.’ I pulled out a small bag from my pocket.

‘What is it?’ I opened the bag and took out two bracelets. ‘Friendship bracelets?’

‘Yup, one for me and one for you.’ I showed Heather one of them. ‘See, this one has an N on the heart so it’s for you.’ I gave the bracelet to Heather. ‘And this one has an H on the heart so it’s for me.’ I put my bracelet on while Heather put hers on. ‘I want you to wear this and remember me. That way, if we’re a million miles away, we’ll be together. My heart with you and your heart with me.’

‘Thank you so much, Nay Nay.’ Heather smiled widely at me.

‘You’re welcome, Hemo.’

‘I really want to kiss you right now.’ Heather whispered to me and moved closer.

‘There’s no one around. Maybe we could sneak a quick one by.’ I looked around then back at Heather. Heather grabbed my face and kissed me softly. We pulled away just as the door opened.

‘Oh hey, guys. Whatchu doing?’ Harry appeared in the doorway.

‘Nothing, nothing. We were hungry so, you know.’ I said quickly before shooting a glance at Heather.

‘Okay, shooting starts in 10 minutes.’ Harry reached between us and grabbed a biscuit. He turned to leave and walked to the doorway. ‘Oh, and Heather, are you down for bowling?’ I looked at Heather.

‘Yeah, you’ll pick me up, right?’ Heather moved away from me.

‘Of course. See you tonight.’ Harry winked at Heather before leaving the room.

‘We should go.’ I offered my pinkie to Heather which she gladly accepted. We walked together to the others.

‘Naya?’

‘Hm?’

‘When I go bowling with Harry tonight, we’ll still be together. You know why?’

‘Why?’

‘Because I’ll be wearing my friendship bracelet proudly.’ I smiled sweetly at Heather before joining the others.

Heather Morris’ POV

‘I never knew bowling was so hard!’ I whined at Harry who was obviously a pro.

‘It’s not! Just, like, roll the ball down the alley and try to knock the pins down.’ Harry demonstrated and knocked down all the pins. ‘See, easy!’

‘Yeah, it’s easy because you’re Asian. Asians rule at everything!’ I teased Harry as I got up and grabbed a ball. ‘The balls are so heavy!’

‘You know, you are more like Brittany than I thought you were.’ Harry stood behind me and helped with the ball. Our hands touched and my skin tingled but Harry didn’t seem to notice.

‘See, you just swing the ball and then let go when it’s in the front.’ Harry moved closer to me and I felt his breath on my forehead. We swung the ball and I let go. We watched as the ball rolled down the middle of the alley and knocked down all the pins.

‘Oh my gosh!’ I covered my mouth with my hand and turned to Harry who was smiling at me. I hopped up and down and gave him a tight hug. The hug lasted for more than I expected it to and when it did end, I found myself with my arms wrapped around Harry’s neck, his hands on my waist and our lips were linked. I pulled away and giggled.

‘Well, that was unexpected.’ Harry smiled at me.

‘You should have called it.’ Harry looked at me, confused. ‘Yeah, you can time travel now, right? The Japanese people made like a time travelling machine.’ I sat down and Harry, laughing, sat down next to me. We leaned back in our seats as we watched the screen for the total of our scores. ‘You won, of course.’ Harry wrapped his arm around my neck and pulled me closer. I yawned.

‘Are you tired?’

‘Yeah.’

‘Do you wanna go home?’

‘Yes.’

‘Let’s go then.’ Harry stood up and offered me his hand, which I accepted, and Harry pulled me up.

‘This is the part where you say all the clichés in the book.’ Harry commented as we stood on my porch outside my door. Harry’s hands were in his pockets and my arms were folded across my chest.

‘Oh right.’ I tried to think of the most popular clichés. ‘I had a really good time tonight.’

‘Me too.’ Harry chuckled. ‘Will I see you again?’

‘Of course. I’ll call you.’ We hugged and shared a small kiss before I said goodbye and watched as Harry drove away. I turned around to face the door. I reached in my pocket to find my key and after a few minutes of searching, I pulled my key out. As I inserted the key into the doorknob, I noticed I was wearing Naya’s friendship bracelet. I realised that she had never came across my mind once during the date with Harry and how I was supposed to go to her house after the date. I quickly unlocked my door, raced inside and up to my bedroom, grabbed some clothes and ran back outside. I locked the door and walked to the sidewalk to flag a cab. I felt my phone vibrate and pulled it out. ‘Hello?’

‘Hey Hemo! Where are you?’ Naya’s voice echoed through the phone.

‘Hey Nay Nay! I’m flagging a cab right now. I’ll be at yours in 5!’ A cab pulled up and I got in. ‘What’s your address again?’

‘Just say you want to go to Pedro’s Pizzas. I’ll meet you there.’

‘Okay. Bye!’ I hung up and put my phone back in my pocket.

‘Where to?’ the cab driver asked me.

‘Pedro’s Pizzas.’

‘Got it.’ The cab pulled away from my house.

Naya Rivera’s POV

I collapsed onto Heather in a tired heap. We both panted loudly as I rolled off of Heather and onto the bed. ‘Wow. I never knew lesbian sex was that good.’ Heather chuckled as I covered ourselves with the blanket.

‘I know right? I have to admit, that was awesome.’ Heather breathed.

‘True that.’

‘What do we do now?’

‘I don’t know. All I have is one night stands. I don’t know what happens after sex.’

‘Do we just lie here awkwardly?’

‘I guess.’

‘Or do we sleep? Cause I am exhausted.’

‘I’d go with the sleep option. Goodnight.’ I smiled at Heather and closed my eyes. ‘I love you.’

‘Love you too.’

‘What the fuck?’ I cursed as I read the script:

NR (Santana): Sex isn’t dating!

HM (Brittany): If it were, Santana and I would be dating.

I got up from my chair and made my way towards Ryan’s office. ‘Ryan! What the hell is this?’

‘What the hell is what?’

‘This script!’

‘Oh, the part where Brittany mentions you guys are having sex?’ Ryan coolly says as if nothing was wrong.

‘Yes, what other part would I be upset about?’

‘I thought you’d be happy on that. Heather didn’t seem to have a problem.’ I scoffed and left the office. I headed towards my trailer, where I knew I’d find Heather. I opened my trailer door and I saw Heather, half-eaten bagel in one hand, the script on her lap and her phone in the other hand. She was texting to someone.

‘Hemo!’ Heather looked away from her phone.

‘Oh hey there, Nay Nay. What you all worked up about?’

‘Have you even opened the script?’

‘Wait; are you mad about the line where I say we slept together?’

‘Yes, yes I am!’ I flung the script on the couch and sat down. ‘Did you tell anybody? About us?’

‘No, of course not!’

‘Then how did Ryan know?’

‘We are really close to each other so it would make sense. Besides, look on the bright side, I talked to Ryan and he said it isn’t a one night stand. They are actually dating.’ Heather moved closer to me and rubbed my back. I looked up and smiled at her.

‘How did your date with Harry go?’

‘It went good. I had fun like you said I would. But I had way more fun afterwards with you.’ Heather said seductively before winking at me. I chuckled and rubbed the back of my neck. ‘We’re going out to dinner tomorrow night.’

‘Wait, you guys are dating now? I thought we were dating.’

‘Yeah, but we’re like dating secretly so Harry’s sort of my beard.’

‘Your beard?’

‘Yeah, haven’t you heard of the term beard? It’s when a gay person dates a straight person to hide the fact that their gay.’

‘Oh. So am I allowed to have a beard?’

‘Yeah. In the day, we’ll be dating guys and at night, we’ll be each other’s.’ Heather smiled at me.

‘That’s a good plan. You’re smarter than I thought you were, Hemo.’

‘Why? Because I play a dumb character?’ Heather remarked and I nodded. ‘Don’t judge a book by its cover.’ Heather stood up. ‘I have to go now.’

‘Go where? Shooting doesn’t start in an hour.’

‘Yeah but, I have a beard. So I’m going to make out with my beard now. I’ll see you later.’ Heather kissed me before leaving the trailer. I smiled as she left.

‘Now to find myself a beard.’ I whispered to myself. I wasn’t going back to Mark and Kevin and Cory’s already taken so that leaves Dijon. Hmm, I’ll give him a try.

As I walked towards Dijon, I saw Heather and Harry sneaking around the corner holding hands. I stopped and decided to see what they were doing. I leaned against the wall and looked around the corner. Heather was leaning against the wall while making out with Harry. I watched them for a few more seconds as Harry massaged Heather’s waist, the waist I had my hands on the previous night. I know I shouldn’t be jealous but seeing Heather kissing another guy, even if it was a beard, hurt me. I shrugged it off and continued towards Dijon who was stretching. ‘Hey Dijon, what are you up to?’

‘Hey, Nay Nay. I was just warming up.’

‘I can see that. Do you like dancing?’ I leaned against the wall and watched him as he stopped warming up.

‘Yeah. It’s how I express myself.’ Dijon smiled at me and I noticed his smile faltered. ‘Can you keep a secret?’ I nodded. ‘I’m thinking about quitting.’

‘Why?’

‘Well, I came here thinking I would matter but now, I’m just a dancer.’

‘Maybe, you should wait.’

‘I’ve waited long enough.’ Dijon gathered his stuff. ‘I’m going to go talk to Ryan.’ I watched him leave.

‘Well, that went great.’

‘What went great?’ I spun around and Heather was leaning against the wall with her hand intertwined with Harry’s.

‘Oh, I was just talking to Dijon. He said he was going to quit.’

‘Quit?’ Harry looked at me and I nodded. ‘But he can’t! I’ll go talk to him.’ Harry kissed Heather before leaving. I looked at Heather and smirked. Now I had her alone, I could do anything I wanted with her.

‘Stop smiling like that, Nay Nay.’ I smiled wider and moved towards Heather. Heather seemed to sense what I was going to do. ‘No! Not now. Harry’ll walk through that door any minute!’

‘Then I’ll make it quick.’ I bit my lower lip and pulled Heather closer by her waist. I proceeded to lean in and our lips brushed slightly. I pulled away to see Heather’s reaction.

‘Now you’re making me want more.’ Heather wrapped her arms around my neck and we kissed slowly, but passionately. I sucked softly on Heather’s bottom lip before slowly sliding my tongue in. Heather lightly moaned as my tongue explored every inch of her mouth. I pulled at the hem of Heather’s shirt and Heather drew gentle circles on the back of my neck. This was our routine, of course, if we weren’t already naked and in bed. I was about to slip my hand under her shirt before the door swung open behind us. I pulled away quickly.

‘Aw hell to the no!’ Amber stood in the doorway with the rest of the cast behind her.

‘I knew it!’ Dianna stepped forward.

‘Heather?’ Harry looked surprised.

‘Naya?’ Mark looked surprised. I could feel my face burning up and when I looked over at Heather she was as red as a tomato. I giggled and Heather glared at me.
