Dress shopping

I walk to a dress store not to far away from here. I walk in and I'm greeted by a older lady.

She says "Hello dear. How may I help you?"

I say "Hi, I'm looking for a nice dress to wear to a funeral size 6."

She nods and walks to a section. I follow and she hands me a dress. I like it so I buy it. I say thanks and walk out. I walk back home and hang it up. I go find Lauren.

I say "So you have Norman's number? I need to talk to him."

She says "Get it out of my phone."

I nod and walk to her phone. I put Norman's number in my phone and text him.

To: NormanHey, this is Maxie Cohan. Can I ask a big favor from you?

To: MaxieHey, um yeah sure! What's up?

To: NormanLaurens birthday is coming up and I want to change my last name. And being you guys have a comic con I can do it in front of everyone. Can you take me? I want it to surprise.

To: MaxieYeah sure! I will take you! How about 6 tomorrow! I'll bring Mignus with me. Y'all can meet. He's dying to meet you ;)

To: NormanAlright. I'll wear something pretty C;

To: MaxieAlright. Have fun on your trip with Sam.

To: NormanI'll try. Byyyee

I put my phone down and go downstairs.

I say "Smells good. What is it?"

Lauren says "Taco's."

I say "Mhmm my favorite."

She says "Well its done."

I say "Good."

I look in her cabinets and find some cheese doritos. I pull them out and put some on my plate. I put meat then sour cream. I start eating. When I finish I scrap my plate and put it in the sink. I wash it and dry it. I put it away and walk back to the table and sit down.

I say "Can I come to the comic con with you. The on your birthday."

She says "Sure!"

I say "When, I drop Sam off, Norman wants me to hang out with him. He wants me to meet Mignus. Is that okay?"

She says "Sure. Are you sure you don't want me to go?"

I say "Yeah, I have Sam. Chandler couldn't make it. So, I think I'll be fine. I wish it was Chandler though."

She says "Why?"

I say "Because I like him. It teases me that I get to kiss on the walking dead but not anytime I want."

She smiles.

She says "He likes you to. I can see it. All the cast is betting to see if its Chandler, Sam or Mignus."

I say "So your betting on me now. Well, now you know who to bet on. I'm gonna go to bed. I'm leaving early. I'll have my phone on me. Good night."

She says "Goodnight Maxie."

I nod and walk to my room where I left my phone. I have a call from Sam. I call him back.

M-Maxie S- Sam.

S- Hello?

M- Hey, did you call?

S- Yeah, my mom wants to meet you. Can you come over for a while?

M- uhm yeah, I'll be there in a few minutes.

S- Thanks. I'm sorry if she says something. She's acting weird.

M- Its okay. I'll see you in a minute.

S- Okay bye

M- Bye

I hang up and go down stairs.

I say "On second thought,I'm gonna go to Sam's. He asked me to come over. His mom wants to meet me. I'll be back by 10 and if I'm going to he late I'll text you. is that okay?"

She says "yeah! Do t do anything I wouldn't do!"

I say "Its not like that!"

I walk out the door and over to Sam's. I knock on the door and he answers.

I say "Hi!"

He says "Hey, come in."

He moves to the side and let's me in. His mom comes rushing to me and hugs me.

I say "Hi ma'am."

She says "Hello sweet heart. You must be Miss Cohan."

I say "Oh, please call me Maxie."

She says "Well, Maxie sit down for me. I would like to ask you a few things."

I say " Yes ma'am."

I sit down and Sam sits next to me. I cross my legs and fold my hands together. Sam puts his elbows on his knees and folds his hands together.

She says "How did you guys meet?"

I say " Actually, Chandler introduced us."

She says "Riggs? How do you know him?"

I say " Ma'am, Chandler saved my life, got me adopted and got me the best job in the world. He's a great friend."

She says "Can you go into detail?"

I say "Sure. Me and my real family were going to meet the cast of the walking dead and something ran out in front of us. My father swerved into the lake. Chandler swam after us and tried to save my brother but my brother motioned Chandler to go to me. So Chandler also got Lauren to adopt me. Lauren Cohan I mean. Then I got a job as a actress."

She says "Wow that's quit a story to tell."

I say "Yea ma'am it is."

She says "Do you know when you and Sam will be back?"

I say "At least before 3."

She says "Okay, you and Sam can go hang out in his room for a while if you want."

I look at Sam and he nods. He grabs my hand and pulls me up to his room.  He hands me a controller and sets up a Xbox. I smile and we play video games until 9:45. Then sam start walking me home.

I say "You didn't have to walk me home."

He says "I know but I wanted to."

I say "Why?"

He says "So I can do this one time before Chandler gets his way."

I say "What do yo-"

I get cut off by his lips being pressed on mine. I do kiss back because I don't want him to feel uncomfortable. I don't know if I liked it. He pulls back and smiles, showing his braces.

I say "Goodnight Sam."

He says "Goodnight Max."

He pulls me into a hug and start walking away. I unlock the door with my key and go in. I shut the door and go straight to sleep.
