𝐴𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑛𝑎 𝑅𝑜𝑠𝑎

The church was in flames I noticed that there were little kids and some adults.  Ponyboy jumped out and ran then Johnny did the same thing

"Get over here!" Dally yelled at the 2 boys

"I have to make Sure there okay" I said ready to run

"No Athena, I don't want to lose you," he said looking into my eyes

"You won't ever lose me" I said as a tear ran down my cheek, I kissed him and ran.

"Some of the children are missing" the teacher said worried to the fat man, we started hearing some screams in the church

"There inside!" Ponyboy yelled and ran to the blocked off window with Johnny. All the little kids were crying.

Ponyboy threw a rock and it broke the wood, we went in and smoke filled my lungs. I started coughing.

"I see them!" Johnny yelled

We all ran towards the little kids and I picked one up as he cried

"Mama!" He cried

"It's okay your going to be okay" I said holding him. I saw dally break the window

"The kid!" He yelled I gave him the kid, and he put him on the floor outside the church. I gave him one after another so did Johnny and Ponyboy.

"The roof!" Daly yelled as he grabbed the last kid and Ponyboy.

"I'm stuck!" Johnny yelled, his arm was stuck to the wood,

"Johnny the roof!" I yelled

"my jackets stuck!"

"Rip it off Johnny we don't have time!" I yelled, I felt my vision starting to get blurry and my head getting light headed

"I got it!" He yelled

"Johnny" I said trying to breath but I couldn't

"Athena!" He yelled "help!!!"

"Dal-" then everything went black.

I heard sirens and beeping noises

"Where am I?" I mumbled

"In an ambulance we are taking you to the hospital" the guy said

"Is johnny okay?" I mumbled out

"Yes" he said

"Where's Dal?" I asked breathing heavily and quickly

"Behind us, you need more oxygen"

"Will I be okay?" I said as tears streamed down my cheeks and my breathing got faster, it was really hard to breath

"Oxygen!" The guy yelled and put mask on my mouth and nose and everything went dark.

I woke up in a room with white walls and some flowers around it. There was a small window and a beeping machine.

"You're awake" the nurse smiled

"Where am I?" I asked rubbing my head

"You are in a hospital room," she grinned

"Right the fire, are the kids okay?" I asked as I felt my eyes get heavy

"They are perfectly safe"

"W-What about Johnny, and dally?" I asked trying to keep my eyes open

"They are okay they are in the next rooms" she said, but I fell asleep before I could say anything else.

"Look she's waking up" I heard a familiar voice say

"Going to" I got up and ran to the bathroom, i threw up

"You okay?" I heard the same voice say

"Yeah" I said flushing the toilet and washing my mouth. I went back to the bed and closed my eyes. "I'm still awake so you guys can talk" I said

"Okay first is first I'm so happy to see you are alive" Ale said

"Go me" I said still with my eyes closed

"Why'd you leave you Weren't even in the mess?" Soda asked

"I couldn't let them go alone" I said

"Your a hero you know that?" Steve said

"Hero? I helped out but Ponyboy, Johnny snd dally were more hero's then me." I said

" well you four are all hero's" Darry said

"How are they?" I asked

"They are all good Ponyboy is talking with Johnny, Johnny got a bit burned on his arm so did dally, Ponyboy was fine, and you were the one that everyone was worried about." Soda said

"Why?" I asked

"They paramedics said, you weren't breathing properly and That you would mumble things and would pass out,  they said that your breathing was really quickly and that you were close to dying many times Cause of how much smoke you inhaled" ale said to me

"Oh" I said,

"Okay boys, quick check up then you can come back" the nurse said

"We'll be back" Darry said as they all left

"How are you feeling Athena?" The nurse asked me

"I threw up and I feel a bit light headed" I said

"Well I just came here to check if the baby was a okay" she said

"Baby? What baby?!" I said opening my eyes and sitting up

"Well you are about 3 weeks pregnant, that's why you've had morning sickness, it's very common in all females when they are pregnant" she grinned

"I'm pregnant?" I said getting worried or nervous I don't know

"Yes you are, you didn't know?" She asked

"No I didn't, I'm only 18" I said I'm shock

"Well I don't know what to say there but we have to check if the baby is okay" she said, she started doing what she had to do, all that ran through my mind was that I'm going to be a mom.

"Okay the baby is perfectly healthy and a okay, I'll be back un a While" she grinned and left, I began to cry.

"Hey what's wrong?" Ale asked me as he came over and hugged me

"I'm only 18" I cried on his chest

"Athena what's wrong? You're scaring me" he said freaked

"Promise me you will still love me" I said sobbing

"I love you no matter what" he said hugging me tight

"I-I am" I couldn't even say it

"You are what?" He asked

"I'm preg-nant" I cried

"What?" He said shocked

"I'm so dumb" I cried, he hugged me

"Athena I still love you, this isn't necessarily bad" he said

"I'm 18!" I said

"Mom has us when she was 15" he chuckled

"Yeah but I didn't want to be like mom I wanted to get married and then have kids, I'm pregnant, I'm going to have a baby" I cried

"Cera los ojos" he said, I closed my eyes "respira" he said, I took a deep breath "todo va estar bien, estoy aquí para ayudarte" he said, i put my head on his shoulder and sniffled as I just rested.

"Why is she crying?" Soda asked

"Um It's not really my place to say" ale said "let's just say she found out something that she doesn't really like. Tú les vas a decir?" He asked me

"I have to tell dally first, oh fuck I have to tell dally first" I said and started crying again "I don't know how he will react" I sobbed

"React to what? What's going on?" Steve asked

"Are you going to tell him now?" Ale asked me

"I'm scared" I said as rivers ran down my cheek

"Tell us what's going on Athena" Darry said crossing his arms

"I'm pregnant! And I'm only 18 and I don't know how to react and I don't know if dally will love me or even be with me if I tell him!" I yelled as I cried

"Oh" soda said in shock I mean they all were in shock

"You have to tell him" Darry said

"Now?" I asked sniffling they all nodded even my brother, i got up and started walking to the next room.

"Hey Bebe" dally said smiling Then he stopped "why are you crying?" He asked me

"Dally" I started

"What's wrong?" He asked, i walked over to him and sat on the bed

"I don't know if you will love me anymore or if you'll leave me after I tell you" I said as my eyes watered again

"Nothing will ever make me want to stop loving you" he said holding my hand

"Dally Remember That night where we went beyond a make out session?" I asked him

"Yeah, best night ever" he smiled

"You know how I've been throwing up a lot?" I asked him

"Yeah did the doctor tell you what's wrong?" He asked

"Dally The reason I threw up so much every morning was because I'm pregnant" I said looking Into his eyes

"P-pregnant?" He said with his eyes wide open

"I can't I can't I don't want to be pregnant" I cried, he grabbed me and hugged me as I cried.

"Why did you think I wouldn't love you? I love you Athena, you should know that, you should know that I've never felt like this how to anyone and that I want to be with you" he said

"But dally were only 18" I cried

"That is a problem but I guess it's okay, I mean totally wasn't expecting it at all but it's okay" he said

"This is one of the reasons on why I love you so much" I sniffled

"We can get through this" he nodding

"I'm scared" I mumbled

"Of?"

"Having a baby at 18" I sniffed

"It's okay" he said hugging me tightly "How'd you even find out?"

"So I threw up again this morning And I was resting in bed and the nurse was like I'm going to check if the baby is okay, then my eyes popped out of my head, she said that the baby was perfect, but I'm just not ready I'm in my last year of high school how am I supposed to go to school like this?"

"Just go until its noticeable and if you really want to stay then keep going to school"

"I guess, how are you so calm about this?" I asked him

"I don't know, I would usually start being mad or freaking out but I'm not, well I know why I'm not" he shrugged

"What the liquid thing that they put into your arm?" I asked

"No it's because I want to be with you forever, I want to have a future with you, and I'm okay with what's happening, because I love you"
