I'm in love, I'm in fucking love. I don't know how I can be in love or how I can find love but I am. Athena Stella Rosa drives me crazy, she makes me feel, she makes me better. I'm just totally in love with her and tomorrow is our first anniversary as a couple. I am planning to do something nice, I don't know how to do shit like this. I haven't been in a relationship for this long, I don't know what to do.

I woke up early today to talk to buck about what I should do.

"Hey man" I said going down stairs

"Hey Dal" he chuckled

"Tomorrow It's Athena And I's first anniversary" I said sitting on a stool.

"Dam, you made it a year with a girl" buck said shocked

"I don't know what to do in these situations" I said confused

"Well do something nice, something special, chicks dig when you do something really nicely on their anniversary, they also love when you remembers buck nodded

"You ain't being huge help man" i sighed

"I'm happy for you Dal you are actually happy"'buck smiled

"Yeah I guess I am" I nodded

"Do you think she's the one?" He asked me

"Is that even a question? I love her and it's weird saying that but I do and I just want to spend my forever with her, she so amazing," it old him

"Why did I even ask, you obviously love her" he rolled his eyes "but I meant do you see a future with her? Like getting married, kids?" He asked me

"I mean I see the married part but not the kids quiet yet man" I said mumbling the last part

"Well I suggest talking to Darrel or the Pepsi kid cause they know more then me" he said chuckling

"Yeah I guess, bye buck" I said leaving to the Curtis house

When I got there Darry was cooking, Steve was eating, Ponyboy was reading, two was drinking beer, And Johnny was watching tv.

"Morn dal" they said at different times

"Hey" I said going to the kitchen

"Yes?" Darry questioned

"It my anniversary tomorrow with Athena and I don't know what to do with her?" I asked

"Is dallas Winston asking for relationship advice?" Darry smirked

"I just need to know what to do" i sighed

"Well do something that will make her feel like she's the only girl on this planet, make her feel special, cause to you she probably is very special"

"She is real special one of a kind" I grinned as i thought about her

"Go to the lake with her" he said

"The lake?" I looked at him weirdly

"There is a row boat there, go when the sun is about to go down and look at the sun set, share a moment with her then go back to the dock and set down a blanket and have a small dinner picnic under the stars." He explained

"It's not a bad idea" I nodded

"I can make y'all the food" Darry offered

"You better I ain't gonna buy expensive fucking food" I said and Darry chuckled

"What gift are you going to get her?" He asked me

"I have to give her a gift too?! Isn't the lake and the boat and the picnic enough?" I asked

"No girls need presents; give her jewelry a necklace, any girl would die for them" Darry nodded

"No she isn't any girl she's Athena, she wants to- I know what I'm gonna give her" I said cutting myself off

"What are you going to give her?" He asked putting the bacon on the plate

"Promise ring, she will die for it" I nodded

"She would wear that forever," Darry chuckled

"I know she would" I nodded

" imma go now, thanks Dad" why the fuck did I call him dad? What the fuck?

"Did you call Darry dad?" Soda said looking at me and then looking at everyone else

"No I said dar" I argued back

"No you said dad" two laughed

"No I didn't!" I said annoyed

"Yes you did you said thanks dad" Steve chuckled

"Dally do you see me as a father figure?" Darry asked me

"And if I do? So what, it ain't gonna change nothing" why did I say 'dad'! I just had to say dar

"You see me as a father figure dally that ain't a bad thing" Darry smiled

"Bye! I'm leaving Johnny Ponyboy you guys can come with!" I said loudly as I left the house and Johnny and Ponyboy followed

"What was that?" Johnny asked me

"It was nothing man, drop it" I said

"Where are we going Dal?"Ponyboy asked me after about 30 minutes of walking

"Jewelry store" I said as we walked into town

"Why?" He asked

"Athena's gift for tomorrow"

"Is it her birthday or something? what's so special about tomorrow?" He asked

"You ask so many questions man, it's our anniversary" I said rolling my eyes

"What are you going to get her?" Johnny asked

"Ring" I said as we reached the store

"What type?" Johnny asked me, the store owner was looking at him and I rolled my eyes and just looked for the promise rings

"Promise ring" I said to him

"You boys looking for something?" The owner asked us kinda freaked out

"I wanna get my girl a promise ring" I said to him

"Well they are right here, what type? Silver? Gold?" The guy asked

"Silver" I said to him as I looked at all of them

"Diamonds?"

"Yeah" I found one that looked nice, it looked really nice, it was a crown with three diamonds. "This one" I told the guy

"The crown?" He asked

"Yeah,"

"86 dollars" the guy said putting it in a box

"Here" I gave him the 86 bucks

"Good luck" he grinned and we left the store

"Thanks" I gave him a nod and left with Ponyboy and johnny  back to the Curtis house

"The ring looks really beautiful" Johnny said looking at its

"I know" I nodded

Once we got back everything one crowed me and asked to look at the ring

"Wow" soda said

"That's beautiful" Darry said

"She is one lucky dam chick" Steve mumbled

"I think she will like it" two nodded

"Yeah me too" I grinned,

"Hi guys!" Athena said coming into the house, I quickly closed the box and shoved it in my pocket

"Hi" we all said in sync

"Hi!!" She said smiling and jumping on me

"Tomorrow is our anniversary!" She squealed

"Sure is" I grinned and put my hands on her waist

"What are going to get me?" She asked smiling like a little girl

"Something special for a special someone" i chuckled

"Aw look at dally being soft" two laughed and I grabbed a beer bottle and threw at him

"Never mind" he mumbled

"Anyway What is it?" She asked

"I'm not telling you, you are finding out tomorrow" I said to her

"But tomorrow is so dar anyway" she complained

"Well then let me start off with, Will you go out with me tomorrow night?" I asked her

"Yes" she smiled and kissed me "I love you" she said smiling some more

"I love you too bebe" I chuckled and kissed her one more time "okay I have to go get your gift, I'll see you tomorrow at 5:30" I said to her

"Okay, bye love you" she kissed me one more time and I left to bucks to get everything ready.

Ahhh!! It's my anniversary tomorrow!!!! Dally and I have been a couple for a year! I'm so excited and happy.

Dally was telling me that he is getting me something special, what should I get him? I have to get him something. Dally left so I started.

"Okay boys meeting now" I said sitting on the couch and all the boys sat in there spots

"What's wrong?" They asked me

"As you all know tomorrow is dally and I's anniversary," I smiled, they all nodded "well I want to get him something nice and since you guys known him longer then I have I figure that you guys have ideas" I said

"Get him a gun" two said

"What? No!" I said looking at him weirdly

"Get him cigarettes" Steve nodded

"No I told him to quit or he will die, and lose me" I said

"Switch blade" soda smiled

"No" I said

"Make him something" Ponyboy grinned

"Yeah you know like make him a video like you did to your brother on your birthday" Johnny smiled

"I can do that, yeah" I nodded

"Thanks guys! And what is he going to get me?" I asked

"We can't tell you" Darry chuckled

"Worth a shot" I got up and went home to make Dally's present.
