𝐴𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑛𝑎 𝑅𝑜𝑠𝑎

So I've been talking with Sodapop this whole week and I've been feeling better about school cause he kept telling me to keep going and that I would be okay.  He is also really cute like really really cute. Yesterday I met him in person and it was fun, I had a lot of fun, we got apples and ate chips well he ate 1 chip. He invited me to eat dinner with him and his friends today.

So I fixed myself up and started leaving the house

"Y adonde vas tú?" My mom asked me

"Our neighbors invited me to eat dinner with them" I told her

"Okay," she nodded

"Bye te amo" I started walked out of the house and walked like 30 steps or something to sodas house.

I knocked on the door and I heard everything get quiet.

"Hey Athena" soda said opening the door

"Hi, I'm ready to eat my spicy tacos" I smiled

"They are really spicy" he said nodding, I laughed and he let me walk in with him.

"Okay Don't mind my perverted friends" he said nervously, I giggled and went into the living room.

"Oh jeez I don't even know what to say" I said to him

"It's okay, anyway guys this is Athena" Soda introduced me. I saw all the boys they were all looking at me weirdly but one of them seemed familiar.

"Hey you are that boy who I bumped into on like the 2nd day of school" I said pointing at the one with green eyes

"You remember me, I mean yeah, I'm Ponyboy" he nodded

"I'm darry" an older guy said from the kitchen

"Steve sweet cheeks, nice to meet ya" he said kissing my hand I looked at soda confused

"I'm two bit" one with the Mickey shirt said smiling and waving

"I'm Johnny" the other one whispered, there was one more guy but he never said his name and he was good looking too.

"What's your name?" I asked him

"Why should I tell you, a stranger" he said in his New York accent

"Well I want to know your name and everyone has told their name except you" I said looking at him

"Listen babygirl, for all I know you could be someone that is trying to kill me or some random shit like that so I'm not telling you, plus your from Florida is it? Well people from there a wack" he said coldly

"Well I heard people from New York are wack to but you ain't seeing me complaining huh?" I sassed back

"Oooo she got you Dal" two chuckled

"Listen man, you don't talk bout me like dat" he said standing up

"It's a free country, Dal, I can say whatever I want to" I crossed my arms as he towered over me

"Burn" Steve laughed

"Listen wiseass you cant tell me what to do, I do whatever I want when ever I want" he said

"I think that's something we have alike then, 𝐷𝑎𝑙" i emphasized on Dal

"You can't call me dat" he said

"Well then I'll go by ranger Roy then" I said smirking

"Do you want to get hurt?" He said clenching his jaw

"You won't hurt me, it will hurt your pal Sodapop, and then everyone will be against you cause you know that I mean a lot to your little friends" I whispered, he sat back down pissed off.

"Wiseass" he mumbled

"Stupid ass" I mumbled and stood next to soda

"Dumbass" he mumbled back

"RetardEd ass hoe" I smirked

"Slut"

"Whore" I said back

"Bitch" he said louder

"Clown" I said louder

"Pussy!"

"Dick!" I yelled back

"Okay guys we get it" Ponyboy said I standing in between us

"Tacos are ready!" Darry yelled form the kitchen,

"Come on Athena I want you to try them" Sodapop grabbed my arm and started walking with me quickly, I giggled as he pulls me to the kitchen

I sat on a chair next to soda and Ponyboy, Darry came out with a bunch of tacos

"Okay so here is the spicy sauce, I will be surprised if any of you guys put like 2 drops of it on your taco" Darry chuckled

"2 drops" I said shocked

"The most we have gone to is 2 drops, but other then that it's too spicy" Ponyboy explained, I started laughing

"What's so funny?" Steve asked

"Give me that" I pointed to The bottle and started pouring a bunch of salsa on my taco, like a lot,

"Are you crazy! You are going to die!" Two yelled out

I took a bite of it and it wasn't spicy at all, I looked at them and they were all in shock,

"literally calm down it isn't that bad" I laughed

"So when did you get Sodapop so interested in you?" Darry asked me, I swear I choked on the sauce and started to cough

"Are you okay?" He asked me

"Yeah, interested in me?" I looked at Sodapop "y'all be playing, he can't like me, he's too good for me, plus he needs a nice pretty white girl, cause a Latina girl for you might be too much" I said eating my taco

"What did you mean too much?" He looked at me weirdly they all did

"Never mind, um these tacos are good did you make them yourself?" I asked Darry changing the conversation

"Athena, what do you mean?" Sodapop said turning my chair around

"Soda it's nothing, don't worry"I said softly

"Athena" he started

"Sodapop I said don't worry about it, I already cause enough problems" I said sternly

"What are you talking about what are you not telling me?" He said looking into my eyes

"Thanks for inviting me to your lovely dinner, you have a lovely home, but I should head home" I said getting up and and leaving

"Athena" soda started but I closed The door before he could continue. I ran into my house and my dad was there drinking a beer.

"Y donde estabas tú a esta hora?" My dad said madly

"I was eating dinner" I said looking down

"Pinche madre, vente se tu quarto! Mi estás deseando mientras Athena! Tu escuela me llamo diciendo que eres una estudiante que ase nada!" He yelled, I felt my eyes water, it's just one of those days were my dad drinks and yells at me.

I went to my room and noticed that I forgot my phone at the Curtis house. I sighed, i have to get it back.

I went down stairs quietly and then tried sneeking out  to get my phone

"Hey!" He yelled and slapped me right in the face, I felt my cheek sting. I looked into his eyes he was sorry, I knew he was.

I quickly ran out and knocked on the Curtis house door.

"Athena; I'm so glad your back," soda started but I just pushed him out of the way and looked for my phone in the living room

"Where is it?" I said sniffling

"Hey you okay?" Two asked me

"I can't find my phone" i said panicking

"Looking for this" the one and Only New York accent said holding my phone

"Give me my phone" i said as I tried not to cry

"What are you going to do cry like a little baby?" He chuckled

"Please give me my phone" i said as I felt tears running down my cheek, i felt my cheek sting as the tears ran down it

"Hey why is your cheek so red?" Ponyboy asked

"Please give me my phone?!" I yelled about to break down

"Yeah why is it so red?" Steve added

"What happened?" Two asked

"Please, the last thing I need is one more hit" I whispered softly,

"Athena What happened?" Soda said, dally let me have my phone back and I ran out and into my house.

"Desgracia!" My dad yelled threw me the beer bottle, I felt liquid oozing out of my hand, and my cheek. I ran up the stairs with glass sticking out my hand and a small piece in my cheek bone

"Not again" ale said sadly,

"Don't d-do anything" I said in pain

"No I'm doing something" he went down stairs "I'm giving him a piece of my mind" I didn't want to see so I went to the bathroom and just cleaned my wound.

"Tu que quieres?!" I heard

"Don't fucking hurt my baby sister!" I heard Ale yell, tears ran down my cheek "i mean it! All she wants is to be happy!"

"Estupidez!"

After that the whole house went silent, i fixed my hand up and wrapped it up too, i fixed the cut on my cheek bone and put a bandaid. Now I have a handprint on one side of my cheek and a cut on my other side and a wrapped hand. I changed into sweats and a hoodie, I opened to Snapchat and a text from Dallas Winston popped in to my chat.
