𝐴𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑛𝑎 𝑅𝑜𝑠𝑎

Today is moving day, I'm not that happy but I know I have to for my dad. I put on my headphones and played my 15 hour playlist. I buckled my seat belt and just leaned my head on the side thing of the car and fell asleep.

After hours and hours and hours and hours of driving we finally got to Oklahoma. There wasn't beaches or water there. Only trees and land. I didn't like it as much. Lots of animals too.

"I don't like it" I mumbled

"We aren't even at the town yet" Ale laughed

"I won't be able to tan" I said crossing my arms

"Then play a sport or something" he suggested

"I guess" I shrugged and just kept looking out the window.

We started getting further into town and now I saw more stores, movie theaters, shopping centers, parks and houses. There were some people dressed in leather jackets or jean jackets and jeans and others in Khakis and sweater vest. The people with the jeans had greased hair and the people with the preppy clothes had no grease, they looked kinda normal.

"They dressing a little wack" Ale said looking at the people

"I agree" I said nodding.

I started noticing that as we started driving that the streets got more bumpy and the side walks were un-even. The houses got more run down, and the streets more dirty.

After driving for about 2 more minutes my dad stopped at this house. It was small but not that small. It was definitely smaller then our house in Miami. I quickly got out of the car cause I couldn't stand being in there anymore, I noticed that the sun saw shining really nicely so I took out my phone and started to take a picture of myself.

"Look I'm Athena" Ale said making fun of my selfies

"Shut up Ale" I laughed and put my phone away

"Let's see the inside" my mom said opening the white gate.

We all went inside and it wasn't bad it was cozy, I went upstairs to check out the rooms I knew the master bed room was the biggest so I snatched the second biggest. I put my luggage of clothes in there making it clear that it's mine now. The room was the color white, it had a small bathroom connected to it which was amazing, and it had the view of this small white house next door, I also have a small balcony like it wasn't really a balcony but I had enough space to sit down and dangle my feet of the edge.

I like it.

I went down stairs and my parents were grabbing stuff from while moving truck.

"Did you choose your room?" Ale asked me

"Sure did" I smiled and grabbed a box that said 'Athena'

"Do you like it?" He asked as he grabbed his box and we both walked into the house

"Yeah, it isn't bad, I thought it would be worse but it isn't that bad" I nodded and went into my room and put the box down.

"I bet I got a crappy room" he chuckled

"No it's a good one too it's just a little smaller then mine" I shrugged, he nodded and left

"Here is your bed" my dad and mom said carrying it into my room and setting it down.

"Thank you" I smiled

"We are coming back with the shelves and drawers" my dad said leaving with my mom. I nodded and just adjusted my bed how I wanted it to be.

My parents came back with The rest for my stuff and I just set everything up. I played some music and just jammed out as I fixed everything .

"Hey did you finish your room yet?" Ale asked me

"No, but I did place all my clothes in the closet and cabinets, and I set up my records and record player. I fixed my desk, and fixed up my bed, all I need it to put the Polaroid pictures up and my fairy alights and my candles and yeah" I nodded and sat on my bed, "Wait no I still have to fix up my bathroom" I mumbled and sighed

"We are going to eat dinner now so you can work later, come on" he said leaving.

I got up and dragged myself to the kitchen table

"We brought some pizza, por que no ay comida" my mom said Giving us plates. I nodded and we all ate our pizza

"Te gusta?" My dad asked me

"Yeah it isn't as bad as I thought it would be, I'm almost done fixing my stuff" I said covering my mouth as I ate

"Muy bien" my mom smiled "Y tu?" She asked Ale

"Um I fixed my clothes my tv and my Xbox and bed and desk. I still need to finish" he said not caring if he ate as he talked it was gross

"Bueno you 2 have things to do tomorrow, and while we got pizza I registered you guys into school" my dad smiled

"When do we start?" I asked

"After spring break, so next week" my mom said we nodded and finished up our pizza.

After a while of eating and talking about Tulsa and our house we all decided to go to bed early cause we were all tired after driving from Florida to Tulsa and then unpacking things, we were all tired. The only thing was I really needed to fix up my bathroom because I'm going to be using that a lot. So I did.

"Finished" I said proud of myself, the towels were all In The lower cabinet my hair ties and clips were in a drawer so were my hair products and all my skin products and my hair straighter and curling iron and hair brushes and perfume and make up.

I changed into my shorts and t shirt and just went to bed. It felt weird going to bed here but I will have to get used to it. Its home now.
