𝐴𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑛𝑎 𝑅𝑜𝑠𝑎

The bright sun was shining over me as I laid in the warm sands of Miami Beach. I heard the waves crashing on to shore and kids playing. I love the ocean it makes me feel at peace, but of course my stupid brother that I love had to ruin it.

"Athena!" He chuckled and ran over to me

"Yes Ale" I said trying to cover the sun that way I could see him better

"Mama said that said that if you don't get home now then you are going to be making the empanadas for dinner" he laughed

"Help me up" I said putting my hands out, he grabbed them and pulled me up

"Te pusiste mas fuerte" i laughed

"You already know" he said flexing his muscles

"Vamos Alejandro " i said putting my beach dress on and grabbed my bag as I put it over my shoulders

"Okay i was just looking at the sunset" he chuckled,

We both walked together to my house that was in front of the beach so it wasn't as far. I dusted the sand off my body and went inside.

"Athena, Alejandro you guys here!" I heard my mom say from the kitchen

"Si!" We both yelled at the same time and walked over to the kitchen

"Ahí están mis bebés" my mom said squishing our cheek

"Mami" we groaned

"Okay your papa is coming home today to tell us some news," she grinned "so vamos a ser empanadas para comer hoy, mi van ayudar si o no?" She looked at us

"Yo tengo Tarea que a ser" i said looking down

"Me too" Ale said quickly

"Okay just be down in an hour to eat" she said pointing at us, we nodded and just went up stairs to our bedrooms.

I put my stuff down and put a record on my record player. The sound of hombres G played in my room.

"Knock knock" ale said coming into my room and flopping on my bed

"What is your dirty self doing on my bed?" I asked giggling And crossing my arms

"What do you think the news is?" He asked me staring at the ceiling

"I don't know, probably a promotion" i shrugged

"That's a good song" he said pointing to the record player

"I know" I laughed and pushed him off the bed

"Ow!" He said rubbing his arm

"Oopsie no te vi" i laughed

"Bully" he mumbled

"I'm going to shower so can you leave" I said crossing my arms

"I guess I have to cause your a girl, remember when we were 3 and mom made us shower together" he laughed

"We were 3 ale what Latina mom wouldn't let There 3 year old kids shower together" I laughed and took off my socks

"True, okay I'll be in my room sis" he said closing my door.

If you are wondering my brother and I are twins not identical of course, he is older then me by 10 minutes, but I'm fine with it.

I went to my bathroom that is connected to my room and took off my clothes and hopped in the shower. I felt the warm water run down my body making me relax.

Once I finished my shower I put on some strawberry scented cream and put on some shorts and a white over sized t-shirt. I did my night skincare routine, and put on my fuzzy socks and my dog slippers and let my hair dry in its own.

I turned on my fairy lights that were around my room and turned on some scented candles. I charged my phone and grabbed my laptop and started watching that's 70 show on Netflix.

"Dads home" ale said opening my door, I sighed, paused my computer and went down stairs to say hi to my dad.

"Hi Papi" I said hugging him

"Hola princesa tengo noticias" he smiled

"Good or bad news?" I asked

"I don't know how you guys will take it" he said, I looked at my brother and we both knew that it was going to be something we don't like. I sat in a chair next to Ale and my mom put out the plates and have us empanadas. We all started eating and talking normally like every day at dinner.

"Bueno, today at work they gave me a big promotion that pays a lot of money" my dad smiled, we all smiled too, it was a good thing but there is always a but it that stupid sentence

"Dad there's a but in that sentence" Ale said pointing at him, I started drinking my water...

"But one thing, we will have to move to Tulsa Oklahoma" i spit out all my water

"What the!! Oklahoma! Tornado city! No, tu estas loco no! I'm staying here, i rather have tsunamis then tornados" I said loudly

"I agree" Ale nodded

"mom did you know about this?" I asked looking at her

"Si, I did know, and we already bought a house there it's really nice and we are keeping this one but it's just going to be here if we come on vacation" she said to us

"What!?!" I yelled

"No se habla así en la mesa" my mom said strictly

"When are we leaving?" My brother asked sadly

"We should be leaving in 2 days, pack all your things, because we are leaving really soon" my dad said

"Are we driving or flying?" I asked sighing

"We are driving, it's going to be more fun," my dad smiled

"Yeah I guess" I mumbled,

"The box's are in the living room for you guys to start packing" my mom pointed

"Mi voy a dormir, buenas noches" I said grabbing a stupid box from the living room and going to my room

"Buenas noches" everyone said from down stairs.

I brushed my teeth and went straight to bed. I didn't want to think of moving, but I did. I love it here, the beach the people, the music, the food, everything is better here. I have friends here. I'll have to start as the new girl at school, I'll have to meet new people that I don't even know. I'll have to be in a new house, I will have to have new neighbors. I will have to restart.
