Narrator's POV:

Medical ninja took Shikamaru into the hospital and, As for Yoshino, they put her in Imprisonment, Shikaku broke up with her. Temari is as bitchy as ever. Naruto waited for Shikamaru to wake up from his coma, staying with him from day to night.

5 years later- both are now 23

———*beep**beep**beep*

Naruto woke up to loud beeping sound and saw Shikamaru sitting up, staring at eachother, Naruto held his hands to his mouth and hugged Shikamaru, "God damn, you scared me, I love you Shika." Naruto chuckled. "I love you too Naruto." Shikamaru replied and kissed Naruto, He got some doctors to check his condition, he was free to go.

"How long was I out for.?" Shikamaru asked"5 years." Naruto sighed. "Oh god." Naruto smiled and said, "I'm just so glad you're back." They both went to Shikaku's house, and,*knock knock* "what's up Narut-" Shikaku rubbed his eyes and threw his cigarette on the ground, he hugged Shikamaru, "oh my god, I never thought you would wake up." He hugged him back, "Love you too dad." They both went to Choji's house, Neji, Hinata, Sasuke, Sakura, rock lee, tenten, they were all there, congratulating Shikamaru for his awakening.

A few minutes later, Naruto took Shikamaru out into the garden, on one knee, began to speak,"Shika, I have loved you since we met. I'm sorry that I wasn't able to protect you from the coma. But I promise I will from forward and now on.. so, Shikamaru Nara, will you marry me?"Shikamaru began to cry and he said, "YES, YES, FUCK YES!" He put the ring on his finger.
