YOUR P.O.V.

After what happened before, talking to him was the last thing I wanted to do. Especially after what we exchanged before. I could forgive, but I’d never forget. I didn’t want to be in the same room as him. I just got painful reminders whenever I looked at Diggy and I’d much rather avoid my problems than be confronted about it. I just had to walk away from it and seek comfort in the office me and Jay shared…

*that night*

Y/N- *watching tv* *pulls the covers over her*

Diggy- *walks in the kitchen* *pours himself some water*

Y/N- *glances at him*

Diggy- *comes in the lounge*

Y/N- *looks at him* 

Diggy- *blinks twice at you* Y/N? What you doing up?

Y/N- I can’t sleep

Diggy- *sighs* You too huh?

Y/N- *looks at the tv*

Diggy- *sighs* What was that earlier? You just avoiding the conversation or even wanting to be near me

Y/N- Can you blame me? You were so rude to me all that time back, I wouldn’t wanna be in the same room as anyone if they said that to me 

Diggy- I apologise. I really do. It was out of order and.. I really came here to spend time with my brother, but now all I wanna do is make amends with you

Y/N- It’s not that easy

Diggy- What do I have to do? *sits beside you* I’m sorry about how it went before

Y/N- *ignores him*

Diggy- *sighs* Y/N, I just need to know that you can forgive me for that

Y/N- *glances at him*

Diggy- You know I still care about you. I really do.

Y/N- *looks at him* What do you really want? To make amends or to take me back as your manager? I know Seana quit, Jay told me.

Diggy- *shifts in his seat*

Y/N- You don’t have to creep around like that

Diggy- Says the one that was creeping with my brother and tryna hide it from me

Y/N- *opens her mouth and closes it*

DIGGY’S P.O.V.

Diggy- Exactly, don’t try to compare, it’s not even close

Jermaine- *walks downstairs* *watches from the staircase*

Y/N- You know what, I’m tired *stands up with her covers* *walks off*

Diggy- *pulls the covers from you* *holds onto them*

Y/N- *turns around* Give it back.

Diggy- *holds them away from you* No. Not until you listen to me

Y/N- *walks over and grabs it* *grits her teeth* I said give it back!

Diggy- *laughs a little* They’re just covers

Y/N- *whines* And I wanna go to bed! *tries to pull them from him*

Diggy- *pulls you closer* *looks in your eyes*

Y/N- *looks up at his* *looks away*

Jermaine- *watches you both carefully* *creeps downstairs*

Diggy- Look at me *turns your head* Don’t hide from me. Remember, I know you

Y/N- You used to *pulls away*

Diggy- *lets go of the covers* You were my bestfriend. I wanna get back to that

Y/N- *shakes her head*

Diggy- *kisses you suddenly* *puts his hand on your back*

Jermaine- *clenches his fits*

Y/N- *pushes him off* *wipes her lips* *shakes her head*

Diggy- Y/N, why are you with him? Why would you put yourself through all this? We coulda had something..

Y/N- *looks down and shrugs* He’s good for me. I love him.

Diggy- Like you used to love me? Like you could ever love me? 

Y/N- *stays silent*

Diggy- Do you even see you guys with a future?

Jermaine- *looks at you*

Y/N- *quietly* I don’t know. *sighs* I’m going to bed *turns around*

Jermaine- *hides behind the wall*

Diggy- *pulls you back* Don’t leave it like this

Y/N- *shakes him off* *walks up the stairs*

Jermaine- *watches you go* *walks in the room*

Diggy- *looks up at him* Jay, I…

Jermaine- *shakes his head* Just.. don’t try to say anything Diggy *walks upstairs*

YOUR P.O.V.

*six months later* *at the club in NY*

Y/N- *whispers in Jermaine’s ear* 

Jermaine- *eyes widen* *smirks* *looks at you* You bad.. *wraps his arms around your waist*

Y/N- It’s what you get for being away from me for so long.. why was it so long babe? I’ve missed you.

Jermaine- If you missed me, then I’ve been lost without you. I don’t even know babe, you know what it’s like to manage me. I’m all over the place and tied up with business, I ever can’t be in one place at a time

Trey- *pulls Jermaine* We got the bottles over here

Jermaine- *looks at you* Babe..

Y/N- *smiles* Just… *sighs* Fine go, it’s your birthday

Jermaine- *looks at you carefully* What’s wrong?

Y/N- It’s just that.. I haven’t seen you in months, we’re never together even for one night and I’ve only seen you for two hours.

Jermaine- I promise I’ll be back. It’s only Trey, okay?

Y/N- *nods*

Jermaine- *leaves*

Thank God I had Jus here with me. It’s painful being separated from Jermaine all the time. Six months and we’d only seen each other three times. He’s all over the world, back in Fayetteville and in the studio working long hours while I did the same. But whenever I’d free up my calendar for him or even try to devote a night to just me and him, he’d cancel last minute. I felt like we were really growing apart.

*later*

Trey- *speaks in the mic* Just wanna say that the boy is actually growing up.. I’m proud of you Cole, you’ve come a long way..

Jermaine- *smiles* *winks at you*

Y/N- *smiles at him*

Trey- That’s why I’ma take you to Miami in the morning and we gon live it up every day this week, how’s that for ya?

Y/N- *face drops*

Jermaine- *laughs and daps Trey* *sees you*

Y/N- *walks off*

Justine- Y/N, wait.. 

Jermaine- *sees you both* *follows you to the back of the club* Y/N…

Y/N- I don’t wanna hear it

Jermaine- What do you want me to do? I can’t cancel on him just like that?

Y/N- But you can do it to me all the time?! *sighs and sniffles* Look, I don’t wanna come between you and your friends just like that. I know he’s your boy and everything, but we’re spacing apart.. we’re never together.. then what’s after this? You’re flying back to LA or something?

Jermaine- *holds your cheeks* Baby, it’s just Miami

Y/N- *pulls his hands down*

Jermaine- I don’t wanna see you upset

Y/N- And I just wanna spend one night with you

Jermaine- *kisses you* When I get back, okay?

Y/N- *looks down*

*a week later*

*front door closes* 

Jermaine- *calls* Babe?! Y/N I’m back… *drops his suitcases* *walks upstairs* I brought you something real nice.. *walks in the bedroom* What are you doing?

Y/N- *turns around with her suitcase* *wipes her tears* I’m leaving.

Jermaine- What do you mean leaving? Oh, that vacation you and Jus was planning?

Y/N- *shakes head* No.. for good Jay.

Jermaine- You’re.. you’re leaving me?

Y/N- - *wipes her eyes* I didn’t ever picture it this way.. *sits on the bed*

Jermaine- *sits beside you* *holds your hands* Baby what do you mean?

Y/N- We’re growing apart. So far apart. I don’t see you or even know what’s going on with you anymore. We barely talk and we’re so busy… I don’t wanna sound paranoid, but I love getting texts and calls from you. I feel like.. this relationship isn’t working out

Jermaine- Is there anything I can do to fix it?

Y/N- *looks down and shakes her head* *almost whispers* I’m sorry

Jermaine- *turns your head* *kisses you deeply* *pulls away and holds your hands*

Y/N- *rests her forehead on his*

Jermaine- *wipes his eyes* You know I love you, right? I always will

Y/N- *nods*

*two weeks later*

YOUR P.O.V.

Justine- *hugs you* Thank God it’s over..

Y/N- *laughs* Only for one summer.. two more then college is over for good and I get that degree

Justine- So.. what are we gonna do? I mean, you’ve got all your stuff and I have my work.. but it’s summer. Finals are over. I’m free. Time to celebrate

Y/N- Actually Jus.. I still have to work

Justine- *laughs* Are you kidding?

Y/N- I didn’t wanna tell you before because you’d get upset.. but… I got a new job

Justine- *gasps* That’s amazing Y/N! *hugs you* Congratulations!

Y/N- *laughs* Def Jam and my management were saying that they were so impressed with my clientèle and rep that they want to give me a promotion.. and *sighs a little* …Relocate me

Justine- *confused* Relocate? Wait, where are you going?

Y/N- London. In two weeks.

Justine- *jaw drops*

DIGGY’S P.O.V.

*two weeks later*

Diggy- *confused* Wait.. wait. So…

Jermaine- *nods* We broke up

Diggy- Why?

Jermaine- We just.. we became too far apart.

Diggy- Wait.. Why are you telling me this?

Jermaine- Dig, I know you love her

Diggy- *looks away awkwardly*

Jermaine- I’m telling you. Go and get her. Cause I know somewhere in her, she loves you too. She’s just waiting for you to prove it to her

Diggy- *smiles and hugs him*

Jermaine- I want you to be happy *lets go of him* I want her to be happy too

Diggy- Ain’t it awkward tho? We’ve both been with her and.. *shrugs*

Jermaine- Hey, we ain’t even blood brothers.. but I know you’re still my brother *pats his arm* Go and get her

Diggy- *smiles and leaves*

Diggy- *phone dials* Come on, come on.. pick up

Justine- *answers* Hello?

Diggy- Justine, thank God.. where’s Y/N

Justine- I’m fine thanks Diggy, how are you?

Diggy- Justine, this is an emergency, where is she?

Justine- Diggy, we’re at the airport…

Diggy- What do you mean you’re at the airport?

Justine- We just got here. Diggy, she’s going to London. For good.
