Each month carried its own fairy, each with unique qualities and its own powerful magic.

What her mother never revealed, however, was that these stories were more than bedtime tales—they were truths. Galia, Salomè's mother, was a fairy herself. Born in December, she was a Winter fairy, carrying with her the beauty, frost, and quiet strength of the season. When she was younger, fate led her to cross paths with Remus Lupin during his sixth year at Hogwarts. He was wandering near the Forbidden Forest when he found her. Despite their differences—he, a half-blood wizard burdened by his curse, and she, a fairy bound to ancient magic—they fell in love.

From that union, two children were born. Salomè carried her mother's fairy blood, while her brother inherited his father's traits. For years, her parents kept Maureen's true nature hidden. During the First Wizarding War, fairies had been hunted, captured, and tortured under Voldemort's orders. He believed that by breaking them, he could harness their magic for himself.
