- "Okay, Finnick?" Cressida asked while preparing to film his propo.

"Yeah. Yeah." He sighed anxiously.

"Go in the center there. Those rocks. Castor, to left. Pollux, you're with me. So we'll go straight to camera. Okay? Finnick?" Cressida instructed.

"Yeah." He simply said ready to tell the truth.

"Take your time. Just remember to keep talking and don't stop." She commanded while the golden boy looked directly to the camera.

"This is Finnick Odair." He started while Katniss and Haymitch enter the meeting room where Finnick's video was being played.

"Winner of the 65th Hunger Games. And I'm coming to you from District 13, alive and well. We've survived an assault from the Capitol, but I'm not here to give you recent news." He continued.

"Why is Finnick doing a propo?" Katniss asked confused.

"It's a lot more than that." Haymitch spoke.

"Beetee's commandeered the system." President coin informed her.

"Now that they're down to generator power there's a more limited range of frequencies available to them. And I'm filling them all up with Finnick." Beetee comfirmed while starting to press some buttons.

"Not many will see it, but whoever does will think it's another propo." Plutarch pointed out.

"What they don't know is this broadcast is jamming their entire system with noise. Early defense warning, internal communications, everything. As long as the broadcast goes through, our team should be able to get in and out undetected." Beetee informed while the girl on fire watched Finnick's video.

"The truth, not the myths about a life of luxury. Not the lie about glory for your homeland. You can survive the arena. The moment you leave, you're a slave." Finnick commented at the same time Boggs, Gale and two others were in the aircraft headed to The Capitol in an air as Finnick's video message continue.

"President Snow used to sell me, or my body, at least. I wasn't the only one. If a Victor is considered desirable, the President gives them as a reward or allows people to buy them. If you refuse, then he kills someone you love." Finnick said with a sad tone knowing he did it to protect Sage.

"Mockingjay One, you are twenty seconds from perimeter defense." The system operator informed.

"No response from perimeter defense. We're inside Capitol airspace." The aircraft pilot informed.

"Gear up!" Boggs informed from the inside of the aircraft.

"Switching to Night View." The pilot informed.

"There." Boggs said while pointing to the tribute center. "Command, we have visual on the Tribute Center."

"Initiating final approach." The system operator confirmed.

"Masks on." Boggs informed to the team.

"See, I know all the depravity, the deceit and the cruelty of the Capitol's pampered elite. But the biggest secrets are about our good President, Coriolanus Snow." The golden boy said harshly and slowly.

"Open the door." Boga informed to the pilot of the aircraft. "Command, this is Team Leader. Prepare to deploy gas. We will confirm once inside."

"Such a young man when he rose to power, such a clever one to keep it. How, you may ask, did he do it? One word. Poison." District four victor commented to the camera with a small smirk on his face

"Get ready to drop." Boggs spoke while the team drop down the Tribute Center building.

"He stopped every mutiny before it even started." Finnick said.

"Clear." Gale said when they land inside the tribute center.

"Clear. Command, we're inside. Heading toward target number one. Cell P45 lower level 2C." Boggs said to the rescue team on the tribute center. "Gas."

"There are so many mysterious deaths to adversaries. Even to allies who were threats.Snow would drink from the same cup, to deflect suspicion. But antidotes don't always work, which is why he wears roses that reek of perfume. Help cover the scent of blood from sores in his mouth that will never heal." Finnick told.

"Gale." Boggs said while reaching a for and open it discovering discover tubes of drugs in the room the just entered.

"But he can't hide the scent of who he really is. He kills without mercy. He rules with deception and fear." The 24 year old victor continued "His weapon of choice is the only thing suited to such a man. Poison. The perfect weapon for a snake."

"What is this place?" Boggs asked while looking around the room suddenly there was a flash of light.

"Beetee?" A scared katniss asked as she looked the rescue team on the controls room screen.

"I'm losing them." Beetee informed trying to keep them in line.

"Powering back up." Coin commanded to the system operator.

"Ma'am, the Capitol air defense system is rebooting. It's coming back online." The girl on the system operator commented.

"Must be diverting power from another source and filtering transmissions. Another sixty seconds and we'll be cut off." Beetee commented.

"Madam President, should we call back the hovercraft?" A anxious system operator asked.

"Broadcast me. If Snow's watching this, maybe he'll let the signal in if he sees me. Put me on the air so he can see me." Katniss proposed.

"Put her on." Coin commanded.

"Can we do this? Can we still get in?" Haymitch asked preoccupied.

"Yes, for the moment he line's open. He will only see you." Beetee informed while placing a small camera in front of katniss face.

"Okay, Katniss, go."haymitch said.

"President Snow? President Snow, it's Katniss." She calles no receiving answers.

"There's no guarantee he's even watching." Coin whispered to heavensbee.

"President Snow?" The girl on fire asked again.

"I know, but he might be." Plutarch Heavensbee: pointed out.

"President Snow, I need to speak with you. Are you there? President Snow, it's Katniss. Can you hear me? I need to speak with you. President Snow, it's Katniss. President Snow, are you there? Can you hear me?" on hearing no response Katniss looks at Coin and Heavensbee for a moment "President Snow..." she tried again

"Miss Everdeen." President Snow said while appearing on the monitor.

"What an honor. I don't imagine you're calling to thank me for the roses." He joked whiteout laughing.

"I never asked for this. I never asked to be in the Games." Katniss spoke harshly.

"Boggs? Come in, Boggs." Beetee said quietly into the radio.

"I never asked to be The Mockingjay. I just wanted to save my sister and keep Peeta alive." The girl on fire commented while beetee still continued to try and contact Boggs.

" Come in, Boggs." Beetee tried again.

"Please, just let him go and I will stop being The Mockingjay, I will disappear. You will never have to see me ever again." She pleaded.

"Miss Everdeen." Snow said while pausing. "You couldn't run from this..."

"Copy." Boggs answer after a while.

"...any more than you could have run from the Games." Snow commented while looking straight into the camera.

"Command, I need a situation report." Boggs informed.

" Boggs, we're running out of time. Hurry." Beetee said while turning to look at katniss and come back to look at the radio in front of him.

"Let's move." Boggs informed the team.

"Please. You've won. You've already beaten me. Release Peeta and take me instead." Katniss said with evident pain in her voice, not knowing what to do next.

"We're long past the opportunity for noble sacrifice." President snow pointed out.

"Then tell me what to do. I've always kept my promises, haven't I?" She informed.

"You said you didn't want a war, and that's just what's happened. I told you what a fragile thing peace was. And still, like a child, you took pleasure in breaking it. I know what you are. I know you can't see past your narrowest concerns. But please, Miss Everdeen, I doubt you know what honesty is anymore." The white hair man continue.

"Command, we're at the first target. Preparing to extract Peeta. Will confirm when he's in hand." Said Boggs as they move through the building.

"Mockingjay One, prepare hovercraft for evac." Beetee confirmed.

"You asked me to convince you that I was in love with Peeta. Haven't I at least done that?" She asked.

"Miss Everdeen, it is the things we love most that destroy us. I want you to remember that I said that. Don't you think I know your friends are in the Tribute Center? Or how Miss Abernathy in district four is trying to run away from being taken away by the peacekeepers with her siblings and her newborn child?" He said with a smirk on his face. "Cut them off." He commanded harshly making him go off the air.

"What happened?" A panicked katniss asked around the room.

"Boggs, come in." Beetee said through the radio.

"What happened?" She asked again more desperate.

"Boggs, come in. Do you read me?" Beete tried again.

"He knows that they're in there. It's a trap." She panicked while tears roll down her eyes. "They gonna hurt sage too"

"Katniss, hold it." Haymitch tried while trying not to lose control with the new information he recived.

" We have to get a hold of them. We have to tell them to get out, he knows. We have to get sage!" She yelled.

"There's no signal. We can't contact them." Plutarch said. "We can't fine sage too, she left the house when peacekeepers tried to enter, runned to the wood with no trace behind"

"No! Haymitch, he knew the whole time. He was taunting me! Taunting us! No, Haymitch. They're in there." The brown haired girl said while starting to break down.

"No, we don't know that. We don' know." He said while trying to hold back his own tears embracing katniss while she cried.

"Shh. It's okay." Haymitch said softly while placing his hand through her hair.

"Did I lose them? I lost them both." She continued being that a breaking sight to watch. " No! No!"

"What happened?" Finnick yelled while running into the room, watching each and everyone of the people there all with sad faces.

"You would want to sit down kid" haymitch said sadly while still holding katniss.
