Meanwhile Finnick still by the water was thinking, where was she? Was all he could think about.

"Are you okay?" Johanna mason said while sitting next to him.

"No" he said simply. "I need to find her, she is all I got" he said sadly.

"She is strong, she can handle herself" the tough Johanna spoke knowing indeed her she was extremely preoccupied.

"Let's be real, she isn't here" Finnick sighed. "Is she?"

"Let's wait till the down tributes appear, alright" she motives him being quiet for a little.

"She.. she told me she wanted to have a family. If it weren't for the games we could be trying you know?" He said while tears roll down his face. " I was going to asked her to marry me, but I didn't have the chances I didn't say goodbye to her."

He was devastated. He was only hopping she was still running in the jungle. But deep down he knew she was not coming. She was taking to long. She was gone. The scream he heard that morning it was hers, he was 99% it was, It was like she just disappeared.

"I'm still alive for you, love" he whispered to himself not knowing that Johanna have heard making a tear make her way down her cheek so she decided to leave finnick alone.

"Alright, lovebirds!" Johanna shouted toward Katniss and Peeta that we're talking and they sharing a kiss.

In the jungle as the group was setting up Beetee's plan into motion but suddenly the screen begins to show the recently deceased tributes not knowing that a certain brown haired girl was there, Finally confirming there suspects.

And then the world stopped for Johanna and Finnick.

On the top of the dome was Sage's face with a kind smile on her face looking forward.

"No. No. It can be happening" finnick said while falling to the soft sand. "She is really gone."

At the same time a breaking yell left johanna's mouth.

The other three were in shocked, Katniss was thinking how haymitch must be feeling, while he watch her two allies colapse at the sudden news it was a horrible sight to see.

"I'm truly sorry" the girl in fire spoke softly.

After the capitol anthem stop Finnick had found new feeling while Johanna had mix feeling both with red puffy eyes, waiting for beetee to continue their plan making the group walk toward the tree.

"Mm. Minimal charring. It's an impressive conductor. Let's get started." Beetee murmured to himself while he started to run the wires around the trees. "Typically a lightning strike contains five billion joules of energy. We don't want to be anywhere in the vicinity when this hits. You two girls, go together now." He continued while handing them the coil wire. "Take this. Unspool it carefully. Make sure the entire coil is in the water, you understand? Then head to the tree at the two o'clock sector. We'll meet you there."

"I'm gonna go with them as a guard." Peeta said.

"No. No, no, no. You're staying here to protect me, and the tree." Beetee said trying to stick to the plan.

"No, I need to go with her." Peeta insisted.

"There are two careers out there, I need two guards." Beetee continued.

"Finnick can protect you just fine on his own." Peeta proposed.

" Yeah, why can't Finnick and Johanna stay with you and Peeta and I take the coil?" Katniss spoke.

"You all agreed to keep me alive till midnight, correct?" Beetee told the couple.

"It's his plan, we all agreed to it." Said Johanna starting to notice that something was up.

"Is there a problem here?" Finnick interfered.

"Excellent question." Beetee stated.

"No. There's no problem." Katniss spoke while she took a step toward Peeta giving him a goodbye kiss, while finnick turned around trying to don't feel bad about sage.

"I'll see you at midnight." She murmured looking at each other for a moment.

"Alright, let's go." Johanna said while grabbing Katniss arm and starting to walk away with the coil, Peeta watching how the girls disappeared into the jungle.

"Come on. I want to put as much distance between me and this beach as possible. Frying is not how I want to go." Johanna stated walking until she notice that Katniss topped and was pulling the wire because it was stuck.

"There's something..." Katniss said while she tries to unspool the wire but it suddenly snaps, seeing Brutus and Enobaria emerge from behind the rocks and Johanna suddenly knocked Katniss down and cut into her arm making her scream out in pain.

"Ssh. Stay down." Johanna said while putting blood on her neck and making Brutus and Enobaria run towards Johanna making her throw her ace at them.

"Come on." Brutus said while they started going after Johanna. After they were out of sight Katniss was trying to get up she hears Brutus Collin Johanna.

"Johanna, where are you?" He shouted.

Katniss trying to hide as she hears someone coming near; finnick.

"Johanna?" He whispered, not finding anyone and running the other side looking for Johanna.

"Peeta." Katniss whispered trying to get back to the lightning tree but finding it the rest of the cut wire on the ground but no one around

"Peeta." Katniss said louder seeing the force fiel striking something and finding Beetee lying on the ground wounded from being hit by it.

"Beetee. Beetee!" She says while kneeling next to him watching the wire from the tree is cut then looking around for Peeta.

"Peeta! Peeta!" She shouted, but hearing someone running towards her, she decided to hides in a bush near and got ready with her arrow to shoot.

"Katniss, where are you?" Finnick whispered but she doesn't reply but aims her arrow at Finnick."Katniss. Remember who the real enemy is." Realizing that he's repeating the same words Haymitch had told her earlier, she lowers her arrow, but suddenly the clouds started to form above them as the lightning is set to strike.

"Katniss, get away from that tree!" The golden boy shouted, but she didn't listen instead she tied the rest of the wire from the tree around her arrow. "Katniss, get away from that tree!" He repeat. But she aims her arrow high and shoots just as the lightning comes down, striking the arrow, causing an explosion that throws her and Finnick backwards and to cut the monitors off at games headquarters.
