𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍 | "𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐭 𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐞."- ༜ -

- Both district 4 tributes were wake up early, they went there separate ways and didn't have a chance to say goodbye.

Sage was in the the waiting room, the room with the tube that would take her to the arena. Already white her wetsuit on sitting in the corner of the chair eating a small apple.

"There you are" haymitch Abernathy said while entering the room and embracing her in a tight hug. "You are going to be fine" he murmured on her hair.

"I'm scared, really" she said while hugging him back. "I don't wanna die" she sob.

"I know my girl, you got to be strong" Sage's father said while looking to her eyes. "Remember what I always told you. such kinds souls can have their breaking moment but be rewarded afterwards" both said at the end earning a little laugh from his daughter.

"60 seconds till launch"

"I know" she sighed. " I love you" she finished while kissing his cheek and stepping to the tube.

"You can do this sweetheart, I know it" he said with a sad smile and wave. "I'm watching you" and with that the tube enter her to the arena.

Strong lights were blinding her, but she could smell the salt water. When her eyes adjust to the light she could see everyone watching the other tributes scattered around the lake on their platforms, everyone look so confused.

"Let the 75th Hunger Games begin. May the odds be ever in your favor."

Sage was looking frantically for finnick but he wasn't in her sight, making her anxious, only finding Enobaria on her left and Gloss on her right.

"Finnick!" She shouted without success.

"Ten."

"Nine."

"Eight."

"Seven."

"Six."

"Five."

"Four."

"Three."

"Two."

"One."

As the Games commence Sage jumped into the water to swim to the Cornucopia to grab any weapon she could find. she got there almost last with Gloss hot on her heals. She took a belt with knifes, an axe and a sword, she still looked around trying to find finnick, Katniss or even Peeta, but they were nowhere to be found making her allies with the career pack.

District one and two were Sage new allies they all got along very well and seeing that finnick,Peeta and Katniss were already left her behind she needed to be smart.

"Okay hold on, hold on" she spoke taking a deep breath and looking around the jungle.

"God, it's hot. We gotta find fresh water." Cashmere spoke while looking at her brother earning a nod from him.

suddenly they hear 3 cannon's being shot marking more tribute deaths, making enobaria smile and sage praying that it wasn't finnick or the lovers from district 12.

"Guess we aren't friends anymore" Brutus joke earning laughs from the group. "Let's keep moving"

- On the other side of the jungle finnick, Katniss and Peeta were resting, finnick getting on Katniss nerves.

"Well we left Pirate behind, what are we going to do now that we aren't holding hands?" The golden boy spoke harshly, and with a sacarstic laugh mad that they led pearl behind.

"You think that's funny?" She asked while they hearing the same 3 cannons the career pack heard.

"Every time that cannon goes off it's music to my ears. I don't care about any of them. I just care about pirate, she is my priority " he stated.

"Good to heat" the girl on fire said while looking at him disapprovingly.

"Wanna face the career pack alone? What would Haymitch say?" Finnick asked.

"Haymitch isn't here." She spoke harshly. "And maybe her daughter is with the career pack trying to kill us" she said. It was true Katniss didn't want Sage as Allie on the first place, but she had to go along because it was haymitch daughter and Peeta wanted her in the team.

"Cut it" finnick said sharply. "Let's keep moving"

they walk further into the jungle, Peeta leading, cutting through the vines and branches to clear the path, but Katniss notices that there was something suspicious and when she was going to tell him to stop Peeta cut through another vine with his machete.

"Peeta, no!"she screamed but it was too late Peeta's machete hit onto the force field which causes a powerful spark that throws him back. "Peeta?" She kneel next to Peeta a unconscious body. "Peeta? He's not breathing! He's not breathing! He's not breathing!" Katniss was starting to panicked. suddenly Finnick pushes Katniss aside, as she goes to shoot her arrow at Finnick she sees that he's performing CPR on Peeta, after a couple of minutes Peeta took a deep breath taking everything easy.

"Be careful, there's a force field up there." Peeta joked while hugging a crying Katniss in his arms. "It's okay, I'm here"

- Back with the career pack they made their way further in, Sage throwing stones ahead of them to hit the invisible force field allowing them to ensure they don't get near it.

"Hold on" she spoke climbing a near tree."force field, it's a dome. We're at the edge of the arena. I couldn't find any signs of fresh water."

"It's gonna get dark soon. We'll be safe if our backs protected. We should set up camp, take turns sleeping. I can take first watch" gloss spoke making the group nod.

The career group had a lot of trust between them so it was no problem, they five young-adults decided that in the morning district one partners will walk to the right side of the jungle making district 2 partners decide go left leaving sage behind, everyone with their partners district.

Sage had decided that she would returned to the curnocopia to gather something's and then go to fin Finnick, Katniss and Peeta. Maybe she could find Johanna and blight with Nots and Volts.

At the middle of the night the capitol anthem sounded and a giant screen on the dome lights up to show the first tributes to have been killed that day.

"Eight" Katniss spoke.

"Mm-hmm." Finnick murmur

Finnick and the district 12 couple all sit in silence when suddenly Katniss noticed that a metal container floating down on a parachute, as it lands she went to grab it, finding a note from Haymitch 'Drink up, and find my daughter, H" hearing a sad smile from Katniss.

"Drink up" she spoke.

"What is it?" Finnick asked intrigued.

"It's from Haymitch. I think it's a spile. He also want us to find Sage" the girl on fire stated.

"Wait, what?" The golden boy asked.

Katniss took the spile into a nearby tree trunk, waiting for something to happen and after a couple of minutes water starts to pour out through the spile, Making Katniss drink it with thirst.

"Are you kidding me? You're kidding me!" Finnick said with joy. " sage would love this" he said softly.

Peeta was next on line drinking enough water and splashing some on his face to rub the dirt from his face.

It's was around midnight when they hear a noise striking in the distance several times.

" I counted twelve" Katniss said.

"Midnight?" District four ex victor asked.

"the number of districts." The girl on fire said being interrupted by a tree in the distance being continuously struck by lightning.

"Well...if you won't go to sleep, I will" finnick finish saying flossing his eyes and missing sage's touch while they sleep eanring a soft "okay" from finnick.

When finnick was sleep Katniss was trying to stay awake but dosed off suddenly waking up to find a strange fog rolling in. She watched the fog get closer to them so she decided to stick her hand out and as it hits her hand katniss suddenly screamed in pain from being burnt, her hand immediately blisters.

"Run! Run! The fog is poisoned!" She shouted waking up Peeta and finnick. The trio running for their lives.

"Come on, come on, come on." Finnick shouted being the faster of the three and watching how behind were the district 12 couple.

as they run Katniss was triping and falling, making Peeta go back to help her up he's hit by the fog and his skin starts to blister and he starts to feel weaker and weaker.

"I can't carry him. Peeta, please. Peeta, please stand up. We have to go." She shouted with pain making finnick Tun next to the pair and grab Peeta with his arms and carry him.

"Alright, come on. Come on. Come on." The golden boy told Peeta.

the trio go as fast as they could to get away from the fog, but it catches up with them and as they get burnt they all stumble and fall down near a lake, Katniss looked up and watching helplessly as the fog descends up them but by as it's about to hit them its stopped by the force field and disappears, she notices the lake nearby and decided to drag herself towards it, placing her hand on the water, screaming with pain as the water started to heal her hand.

"The water! The water helps." She told the two unconscious boys.

When the trio was already heal they were talking about finding Sage when they looked around them founding a bunch of baboons
