Chapter 29 ~ First Time

Alex's Pov

I'm still confused about what Beth said earlier but I'm letting it slide. Some crazy shit has happened here these past couple of days.

Carl came back, me and him are now sitting outside on the gravel, enjoying the hot day out here in Georgia. Looking out into the distance I see movement, I stand to get a better look. Its a woman with a sword. "Carl there's a woman out there!"

"A women?"

I look back seeing Rick holding the baby. A smile grows on my face seeing that he came back to his senses. "Dad we should go save her, walkers are starting to gather." Carl suggests, Rick hands me Judy and him and Carl go to save the woman. I take the baby inside so she's not exposed to,to much sun.

"Hey, cutie!" I say rocking her back and forth. "You look like your big brother...and that's a good thing." She starts to giggle. I always wanted to have a baby, I always wanted to be a mom and I hope nothing will change that.

"Beth get water, Carl get towels!"

I put the baby in the basket we made for her crib and run into the cafeteria. I see the woman laying on the floor, I shoot Carl a worried look, "She's fine, just a bullet wound." he says walking towards me. I only nod because I know in this world nothing is fine. "Hey, listen to me she's fine." he hugs me tightly, I wrap my hands around him and dig my head into his chest. "I love you." I whisper "I love you too." he whispers back. Carl goes to pull away but I stay latched onto him, my arms wrapped around his back and my head now on his shoulder.

"Rick, you might want to come see this." Daryl says walking into the cafeteria. Me and Carl walk hand in hand to where Daryl wanted us and I couldn't believe my eyes! "Carol!" I scream pulling her into a hug, a tear rolls down my cheek. "Okay Alex don't hog her." Rick says moving into a hug, I pull away and wipe my tear. This is awesome! Carol isn't dead...she's here! I smile at Beth who walks into the cell with Judith. I wonder how Carol is going to take this. "Oh my God!" She says happily but then realizes Lori isn't there. She looks at Rick and Carl devasted then reaches for the baby. I smile at this. Our family is back. Except...Maggie and Glenn have been gone almost all day and it's almost dark. I guess I shouldn't worry maybe they decided to stop and be weirdos.

"Hey I'm going to bed, You coming?" Carl asks grabbing my hand again, I nod and he leads me to our cell. I stand at the door way and watch as he takes off his shirt and pants, leaving him only in boxers. He gets in bed and looks at me funny. I smile and get changed into my shorts and t-shirt. Then I crawl into bed. "I have a question?" "Yeah?" I ask "When do you think we can..-" I cut him off by kissing him. I climb on top of him, "Your funny." he laughs "Are you sure?" he asks me "I'm sure." I respond smiling. He takes off his boxers and flips me over, so now he's on top of me. He takes off my clothing and begins kissing my neck. "I love you." I say rubbing my hands through his hair "I love you too."

You know what happened next.

~Morning~

I wake up with Carl's arms wrapped around me. I look around the cell, seeing our clothes on the floor brings back memories of last night. It was awesome! " Hey" He says in his raspy morning voice "Hey." I whisper. Carl starts to rub my arm gently "So...last night.." I giggle "Was amazing!" "So amazing." He says kissing my shoulder. "We should get ready for the day." I say starting to get up, Carl pulls me back with his strong arms "Or we can..."

"Don't you ever touch me again!"

I don't know about you but the ending has me like whaaaaat!

Anyway, sorry I haven't been updating. As some of you know I've been going through allot with my personal life...me and my ex boyfriend straightened it out and we are starting over :-)

I wanted to leave this chapter as a cliff hanger....because let's face it...it looks like Alex is about to flip out at Carl...Am I right...
