7 The Job

Kamea walked down "Are you teaching him to fly, using a simulation?" asked Kamea

"Yeah where you heading?" asked Steve

"Work."

"Your support job?" asked Steve

"Yep."

"See you too later," she said leaving seconds before Kat walked in distracting Kamkona

At the base

"We got this drive off a new terror organization, see what you can dig up," said General Scott

"On, it."

About six hours later

"General there planning an attack, here," she said pointing to a map

"I will send it to brass right away. You needed at CIA headquarters," said General Scott

"Woah what happened to your eye?" asked Steve entering

"The job."

"How did you hide this from your mom?" asked Steve

"I didn't I was miles away," she answered still reading

"What are you reading?" asked Steve sitting down

Kamea closes her book

"Percy Jackson and the sea of monsters. It's the second one of the series,percy is a demigod the son of Poseidon.' 'Kamea rambled on about her book. Steve listened intently to what she said and for the first time in a while Kamea felt like she had a dad.

Steve, Mick, Wade, and Doris go on a secret op-ed to get back the microfiche. The mission does not go as planned and Doris ends up getting caught, Steve saves her but in the process destroys the microfiche or so she thought.

In the elevator

"Wade ready for pick up in 50 seconds," said Steve

"Copy that," answered Wade

You okay?" asked Steve

"Do you realize what you just did?" asked Doris

Steve turns and produces the microfiche "What?" she asked

"You see that? All those magic tricks you showed me as a kid, you thought I wasn't paying attention." he then hands her the microfiche. Doris smiles

"Yeah, you're welcome," said Steve Doris laughed until she realized

"It's a fake!"

"Fake?" asked Steve

"Yeah."

"We did all of this for nothing." huffed Steve

Kamea storms into five-0

"What do you mean? Kono's not a murder," she yelled

"We know Michael Norshmurie framed her we just need to prove it," said Steve

"Okay, how can I help?" asked Kamea

"Help?" asked Danny

"Yeah you all know I'm an agent thanks to Steve, so how can I help?" asked Kamea

"Nothing at the moment," said Steve

"Hey Charlie did....." she pulled out her gun "Put down the knife," Kamea told him

"Get out of here kid," said Michael still holding on to Charlie

"I won't say it again," she growled Michael put the knife to Charlie's neck

"Drop the gun or he gets it," Michael growled

"I won't ask again to put the knife down," she said still trained on him he doesn't

"I will kill him." she fired a shot that went straight through his brain "Are you okay?" she asked rushing over to Charlie

"Yes, thanks but who are you?"

"Oh right I'm Kamea Taylor, Steve's daughter," she answered helping him up

"Steve has a kid?"

"Yeah, so did you find a way to prove Kono's innocence?" she asked

"Yeah, how old are you?" he asked still confused and shocked

"16." she then left

There's a knock on the door, and Adam answers it.

"Hey Kamea what's up?" asked Adam

"Can I talk to you?" she asked in a meek tone

"Yeah, come in, is everything okay?" asked Adam

"Kamea what are you doing here?" asked Kono

"I wanted him to hear it from me," she said not meeting their eyes

"What Kamea?" asked Kono

Kamea takes a deep breath before meeting Adam's eyes

"I went to see Fong to see if he got anything that could clear Kono." she takes another breath Kono and Adam exchange a look of confusion

"Well when I got there." she took another pause "your brother had a knife to fong." the look on Adam's face changed

"I asked him several times too but down the knife down but he wouldn't............ I killed him." her head dropped as she finished Adam began to cry

"I'm so sorry Adam, I didn't want it to end this way." she was now crying

She was not fazed by the fact that she killed a man, she was fazed by the fact it was Adam's brother, a man she looked up to, and his brother died because of her. She quietly stood up and left.

It's been five weeks since the death of Adam's brother

Knock knock

"Adam?" asked Kamea

"Hey got a minute?" he asked

"Yeah come right in steve should be home soon," said Kamea

"I just wanted to say I don't blame you and I'm not mad. I know he gave you no option," said Adam Kamea, him

"I'm so sorry." she cried in his arms

"I know." he hugged back. They stayed there for a few long minutes tell his phone rang

"Okay I'm on my way," he answered

"Bye," whispered Kamea as Adam left the house
