Chapter 22: Her, again

Normal POV

The phone in 2D's pocket begun to ring. He reached over to the phone only to have her name on the screen.

He hesitated and thought if he should answer it.

"Answer it, Stu." (Y/N) said.

He nodded his head and reached for the "accept call" button....

"E-Ello?"

"2D, honey, I'm really sorry what happened back there."

2D frowned as he heard those words come out of Paula's mouth.

"Am tellin' yew dis once and only once: I don' wanna be wid yew anymo'e." 2D huffed.

"B-but..Stu?! I thought you loved me?" Paula whined.

"Yeh, I did. It wos a mis'ake. I've foun' someone betta than yew anyways." he bragged as he gave (Y/N) a smile.

"Wh-whatever! I don't care. Just remember I won't be there if you come running back to me!" Paula growled.

"Let me guess. Paula." (Y/N) sighed.

"Who'else?" 2D chuckled. "I don' tink dat'll be da las' tiem she'll be callin' meh."

"Why don't you block her?" (Y/N) suggested.

2D nervously fumbled with his fingers, not saying a word.

"Stu?" (Y/N) said as she walked towards 2D. "C'mon. It's not that much of a challenge!"

(Y/N) reached for 2D's phone but then he blocked her hand from touching it.

"I....I'll tink 'bout et." 2D murmured as he looked at his watch. "Ets gettin' pretty late."

"Oh shit." (Y/N) groaned as she realised the time. "Can I stay over?"

"Sure." 2D answered with no hesitation. "Yew can sleep in mah room."

He then took (Y/N)'s hand and walked to the destination. 

"I'll jus' take a baff. Yew can jus' stay 'ere. I got sum magazines and stuff." 2D informed as he was getting his clothes. "See ya."
