Chapter 39

Jae Eun's POV

Tonight will be night I will be leaving Korea for god knows how long.

Bangtan had finished their practice and now we are in our favorite restaurant with Mi Rin together with us and of course without Jungkook. He doesn't know anything about this.

Mi Rin is sad that I will be leaving so soon and because me, she had give up on becoming an idol.

She said if I didn't debut with her, she would rather give up.

"Jae Eun ah, has you get your things ready already?" Seokjin oppa asked.

"Yeap, just need to double check things later when I head home." I said while smiling.

"Where will you be going?" Hoseok oppa asked.

"I will be heading to New York." I answered.

"I heard from Tae that your English language is excellent!" Namjoon oppa stated, happily.

"Yeap, I studied my English well. Not like this oppa here." I said while pointing towards Tae oppa.

"Hey!! I'm older than you!! And I'm learning English now. So shut up." Tae oppa said, offended and continue eating his chicken drumstick.

We all laughed at Tae oppa's reaction and the rest of the night went well.

Time skip

I'm already at the airport now.

"Jae Eun ah, if you got time, you need to message us or FaceTime us. Got it?" Hoseok oppa said.

"Yes of course. Just I'm scared that I will be disturbing your resting time as the timing in Korea and New York is different." I said.

"Nahh, we always have time for you." Yoongi oppa said while smiling softly at me. I smiled at back at him.

"Jae Eun ah, you need to get going now." Tae oppa said.

"I will miss you my bestie!!!!" Mi Rin cried and hug me.

"Be sure to text me when you can and tell me everything about what happen at New York. Got it?!" Mi Rin said, still hugging me tight.

"Yes yes and I will miss you too my bestie!!" I said and chuckle.

I let go of her and hug Bangtan 1 by 1.

"I will miss you guys and I will keep in contact with you guys!!!" I shouted and head in for departure.

Time skip

When I reach New York, it's already 7 pm.

I'm now heading to a place that I rent my room for the rest of my days here. I look around the city.

The city looks so beautiful with all the street lights around.

After I reached the destination, I thank the driver and pass him some money and headed into the house.

The house look grand and luxurious. I knocked on the door, patiently waiting for someone to open.

When the door opened, an old grandma and grandpa was standing in front of me.

I greeted them with a bright smile. I told them I was the one that rent the room.

"Hello dear, come on in." The grandmasaid with a smile and open the door wider for me to enter. I thank them and walk in.

We are now sitting down on the living room.

"Dear, tell me what's your name?" The old grandma asked.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Kim Jae Eun. But if it's easier for you, you can call me Abigail." I said and smile.

"Okay, so we will be calling you Abigail for now. Oh and silly me, I forgot to introduce me and my husband." She said and laugh. I laugh as I find it cute.

"I'm Mrs Johnson and my husband Mr Johnson." She said and smile warmly at me. I nodded and smile.

"Are you from Korea? Your name is a korean name." Mr Johnson asked.

"Oh my, don't be so rude honey." Mrs Johnson said upon hearing Mr Johnson's question.

"Oh I'm sorry." Mr Johnson said with a apologetic smile.

"It's okay. And yes I'm from Korea." I answered and giggled at their interaction.

"Oh I see. Your English is excellent dear." Mr Johnson said.

I smile and thank him.

"Dear, you must be tired from the long flight. Let's bring you to your room now for you to rest." Mrs Johnson said.

They brought me to my room.

"My dear, this is your room. I'm sorry if it's not what you expect." Mrs Johnson apologized.

"Oh don't be. It's simple and cozy. I love it." I said and smile at them.

"Okay. We won't disturb you now." Mr Johnson said and both of them head out.

It isn't so bad to move here.

I thought and started unpacking before I wash up and sleep.
