Chapter 28

Jae Eun's POV

I ran back to my room. I cover my mouth to prevent myself from making any noise. My tears are now flowing like the water in the river.

'What am I supposed to do? I can't let anyone hurt my heart again. I've suffered enough. But, at the same time, I can't help but have feelings for him again. I should stop. I can't afford getting hurt again. I'm not even sure whether he really loves me like he do or he's just playing around again. I need to be more alert around.' I thought to myself and went to the bathroom to wash my face.

After washing my face, I head down back and sit beside Tae oppa.

"Jae Eun, are you feeling better? Are you hungry?" Jungkook asked, looking at me with soft and loving eyes.

"Yeah I'm fine and I'm not really hungry." I replied, looking down.

"Alright!! Since Jae Eun is feeling better I guess you guys can go ahead to do your thing. I can take care of Jae Eun." Tae oppa said.

After he finished, he's phone ring.

"Hello? Yeap. Okay. Okay. I will be right there." He end his call.

"Jae Eun, I'm sorry. I need to attend a meeting now. It's urgent. Can someone please stay with her? I not want to leave her alone in this big ass house." Tae oppa apologized.

"Oppa it's okay. I can-"

"It's okay hyung. You can go ahead. I will stay with Jae Eun. I will take care of her and entertain her while you are away. So rest assure." Jungkook said, giving Tae oppa a slight smile.

"Okay Jungkookie, I owe you one." Tae oppa said and rush out in a hurry.

"Oh Jungkookie, we will also take our leave as we both got family matters to attend." Chim oppa said and look at the both of us with a slight smirk.

"Right, Jae Eun I will take my leave now. Have a good time with him." Mi Rin give me a hug and whispered the last part to me.

"Yah!" I whispered-shout at her.

"HAHA!! Bye Jae Eun and Jungkook." Mi Rin and Chim oppa waved at us before heading out.

After they both leave, me and Jungkook are still standing still on the same spot with a awkward silence.

"Erm, do you want anything to eat? You haven't eaten anything just now. I bet you are hungry." Jungkook asked the same question again.

"Erm, it's okay." As soon as I said that, my stomach started grumbling. I look down with a embarrassed expression.

"It's okay. I will cook ramen for you." He said with a chuckle at the end.

"Erm thank you." I said, still looking down with a slight blush.

Jungkook's POV

"Erm, do you want anything to eat? You haven't eaten anything just now. I bet you are hungry." I asked her, trying to break the awkward silence.

"Erm, it's okay." And as soon as she said that, her stomach stared to grumble.

She look down with a slight blush.

"It's okay. I will cook ramen for you." I said while chuckling as I find her cute when she becomes all shy and embarrassed. I find myself loving her more and more everyday when I look at her.

Aishh, what are you really doing to me Jae Eun.

Mi Rin's POV

After me and Jimin leave the two about to get together couple alone, we both stood outside Jae Eun's house thinking what to say. It's was awkward.

"So, since we both got no plan, would you like to go to the cafe nearby with me?" Jimin started.

"Erm, okay." I answered, feeling myself blushing as my face started to heat up.

We both walked towards the cafe while talking about ourselves to know each other better and some normal conversation.

"Hey, do you have any plan on how to make Jae Eun trust Jungkookie again? He seems very sincere when he said he need her. He also seems desperate to have her back." Jimin said.

"Hmm, I'm not sure about this. But mostly is about how Jungkook perform and whether is she willing to trust him again." I said, not really having a plan to help them get back.

"Yeah true too." He said and we reached the cafe.

"So what do you want?" He asked looking at me. I look at the menu.

"Hmm maybe just (your favorite drink) will be enough." I said.

"Okay." He replied and ordered. I was about to pay when he pay first.

"Hey, why did you pay for me? We could share the bill." I said, feeling guilty.

"It's okay. My treat." He said with a warm smile.

After we got our drinks, me and Jimin headed out.

"So you going home now?" He asked.

"Yeah. I need head home to accompany my mom as she's home alone." I said.

"Alright. Can I send you home?" He asked.

"Erm...okay." I said, looking down.

"Let's go." He said with a sweet voice.
