Chapter 14

Months have gone by since that night on the beach. Lee and I have gotten extremely close as the time flew by. At the moment, I am sitting and watching YouTube on the TV with Wolf next to me, waiting for Lee to come back as he went out to talk to Graham, his manager.

"TOP OF THE MORNIN' TO YE LADDIES! My name is Jacksepticeye and welcome back to, HAPPY WHEELS!"

I laugh as Jack keeps swearing every time he dies or how stupid the whole thing looks. I am too engrossed in the TV, I don't hear the front door open and close. And the footsteps that are coming my way. The next thing I know, there are arms around my waist, pulling me towards them. I pause the video and lean into him.

"Hello love" He greets.

"Hi" I wrap my arms around him and move closer. "How was your talk?"

"Torture" He chuckled.

I lean back and look up at him. "What type of torture?"

"I had to sit for hours and listen to Graham talking about what I am supposed to do when I get back to the U.S."

I go silent for a second. "Roo? You know I have to go back"

"I know, but I don't know what to do. You would be almost a day away from me."

"I know you will miss me because I will miss you too"

"How long will you be gone for?" I look up at him, hoping he won't say a very long time.

"Well filming season 3, I don't know how long it would take" he says sadly.

"Well I guess we can FaceTime or Skype, text each other too. And text as well." I suggest.

"I promise I will call you every day and visit you every holiday I get" Lee held both my hands in his. He lifted them both up and kissed each one.

"You promise?"

"I promise"

Lee's POV

(During his talk with Graham)

"I really don't want to leave her here" I say to my manager who has been talking about being attached to somebody.

"Lee! I cannot have you putting off your work for any longer! You have already taken 6 months off, it's time to go back!"

"I know! But I love her!" I finally say.

"Lee! I already warned you! You knew you would have to leave" he raised his voice slightly.

"This time is different! Not like last time!" I argue back.

"What is the difference? Last time you said the same thing!"

"I know but this one is different! I can't explain it!"

"Are you sure? With your decision."

"Yes, I am"

"Well I can't control who you date, as long as this won't distract you from your job"

"It won't, I promise" I sigh with relief. "But, every holiday I get, I want to visit her, even if it's a short time"

"Okay, that sounds fair" he nods in agreement. "You can leave now, I'll call you back the day before the flight back"

"Thanks Graham" I shake his hand before walking out of the room with a huge sigh.

I then go out into the carpark and drive back to Kyla's place.

Kyla's POV

"Let's go out for dinner" Lee decides.

"But where?" I ask as I feed Wolf his dinner.

"Somewhere" He says.

"Never heard of somewhere before. What food is there" I tease.

"I don't know" he shrugs.

"I know, what about we get charcoal chicken take away?" I suggest.

"Sure!" he agrees. "I'll get the car ready!"

"What? You don't need to get the-" I look around to see Lee gone. "Oh okay, thanks for leaving"

I grumble as I grab my stuff and head to the garage. I see Lee already in the driver's seat of the car.

"I wanted to drive Lee" I whine as I get into the passenger seat.

"Why do you think I said I wanted to get the car ready" he smirks.

"I just realised" I mumble.

He laughed and started the car. "You have to fix the car seat though, I won't be able to reach the wheel like that" I point at the chair.

"Yeah, I won't forget"

"Sure" I roll my eyes.

"Hey, I'm serious, I never forget"

"Uh huh"

"Roo" he whines.

"Lee" I mock.

"Hmph" He huffs.

"Is somebody sulking?" I tease as he pouts.

"No I'm not" he disagrees in a childish voice.

I laugh. "You sound so cute"

"I am not cute" He frowns, still talking childishly.

"Oh? What are you then?" I raise my eyebrows.

"I am extremely handsome and good looking" he smirks.

"Oh? I didn't know that" I say sarcastically.

"I am indeed" he nods in agreement with himself.

"Well I know someone more handsome and good looking than you" I joke.

"Who?" He frowns immediately.

"Tom Hiddleston" I laugh.

"No way, I am!" He straightens his back in the seat but ends up hitting his head on the roof. "Ow"

"Haha that was a fail Lee" I rub his head for him.

"Take back what you said" he pouts.

"What?" I act innocent.

"Take back what you said. Tom Hiddleston is handsome and good looking"

"Ok I take it back. Oh look, the vacuum cleaner from my brain has come to suck those words back up" I point and then pretend to take my words back.

"Haha, very funny" he rolls his eyes.

"I know, I am very funny" I smirk.

Lee gives me the face like this -_-
