Chapter 11

"THIS IS WHY YOU HAVE BEEN QUIET FOR THE PAST WEEK NOW!" Keely shouted out excited.

"YOU HAVE BEEN HANGING AROUND LEE PACE AND BECAME HIS GIRLFRIEND WITHOUT TELLING US!?" Molly gasped.

"HOW RUDE! YOU COULD AT LEAST SHARE!" Keely waved her hands around. Just for your information, we are still at the front door and my friends are still stuck in their positions. And Lee is still watching with an amused face. I turn around to Lee, signalling for him to save me. He just smirks and goes to feed Wolf.

"How about you guys come inside instead of standing at the front door." I suggest.

They immediately dash to the kitchen and sit on the chairs next to the countertop.

"So, is the special someone Kyla?! You know, that selfie you tweeted when you were watching Ant Man?" Keely asks Lee who is in the middle of washing his hands.

"Yes, that's Kyla. And please, this is a secret kept between us" Lee tells them.

"Don't worry, we keep secrets extremely well" Molly says.

Lee leaned on the counter top as I sat in between my friends.

"So when were you planning to tell us? You didn't answer your texts after Comic Con or anything" Molly stated.

"Yeah, sorry bout' that. I saw your texts but was planning to text later. I guess I forgot because Lee was here." I said sheepishly.

"And, you didn't tell us you were dating a guy, especially a celebrity. And even more, your favourite actor!" Keely exclaims.

I laugh and look to Lee who only raises his eyebrows. I then remember something as they mentioned Comic Con.

"Ohhhhh, I'll be back, I bought you guys stuff!" I jumped off the chair and ran into the bedroom.

I can hear Lee telling Molly and Keely jokes as they are laughing their heads off. I rummage through my mess of clothes to try and find the bags.

"MOLLY! LOOK WHO IT IS! IT'S WOLF!" I hear Keely shout in the living room.

"OH MY GOD! WOLF HAS GROWN!" I hear Molly exclaim. I can also hear Lee chuckling, probably because Molly and Keely are giving Wolf big cuddles.

"LEE!" I shout out to him.

"YEAH!?"

"CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME HERE!?"

I hear him jogging over to my bedroom.

"You called?" He chuckled.

"Yeah. Can you please help me find the bag I brought from Comic Con? I can't find it"

"Well maybe you should clean up your room" he laughs as he picks up some of my clothes.

"Gimme that! Don't look through my clothes" I feel embarrassed. "Well maybe it's under your bed" he lays on the floor and looks under the bed. "Woah! You have so many clothes under here!"

"Yeah...." I scratch the back of my neck.

"Found it!" He exclaimed. He got off the floor and held out the bag.

"Thanks Bear" I take the bag off him.

"Tomorrow, we are cleaning your room Roo" Lee says, looking at the clothes on the floor.

We both walk out to see Molly and Keely playing fetch with Wolf. We laugh as Keely throws the ball at Molly and Wolf tackles her to the ground.

"Wolf! Down boy" I call out to him. He looks towards me with puppy eyes but does as he is told.

"Molly, Keely! I found your bag of stuff I bought for you." I hold it up and wave it around. They both look up and bolt towards me.

"What did you get?" they both ask simultaneously.

I pass them the bag and they spend the next 30 minutes looking and trying the new things I bought.

Spending the rest of the afternoon with my friends and Lee was really fun. They both got to know Lee really well and surprisingly, they became really good friends of Lee. Lee cooked dinner for all of us and I helped him out, but he pushed me out of the kitchen because he said, and I quote "your definition of helping me cook is not helping at all" I laughed at him and walked out as my helping was just standing there and watching him cook and when he isn't looking, I would take a piece of pasta he had cooked.

Dinner had a light and happy atmosphere surrounding us. We were all telling jokes about each other and talking about embarrassing things. Lee told us that he had a dance off with Chris Pratt on set and it was a prank on Dave Bautista. He also said he did one on Twilight as well. This then brought up an embarrassing story of me, which my dear friends happily shared and left me burning red with embarrassment.

"Kyla, is a very clumsy person." Keely starts off.

"Oh yes she is! She trips over her own feet!" Molly adds with laughter.

"Really? This one?" I ask, burying my face in my hands.

"Please ignore her, continue" Lee told them smirking.

"Ok so we were at the school pool during PE. And at that time, we were like 15. There was a boy that Kyla really liked. He was one of the fastest swimmers in the school and had won many medals against other schools." Keely explained with a large grin.

Then Molly finished the story. "The three of us were talking and she saw him. We think she was daydreaming because she began to walk straight towards him, forgetting the pool was in between them, and she tripped over her own feet and fell into the pool!"

Everyone began laughing and I covered my face while laughing.

"Aww, someone is going red" Lee laughed and put his arm around me and pulling me closer.

"I don't think anyone would forget that" I then look at Lee. "Especially you"

"Oh I will definitely not forget that story" he laughs again.

"Thanks guys, really appreciate that" I sarcastically say to my two mischievous friends.

"No worries!" Keely responds happily.

"Your welcome!" Molly laughs.

I sigh and shake my head. Those two are like trouble making twins. And I am like the mother who attempts to keep them from causing mischief. But it doesn't last long as they pull me into their pranks. We are all like sisters, we have been best friends since forever.

All three of us used to share an apartment. But I don't know what happened but we ended up living separately. But Molly lives around the block from Keely. I live the furthest. But it's like a twenty minute drive. We all made sure to have a copy of each other's house keys so we can walk in anytime.

They called me Leggy because I came to school one day with Legolas braids. So I called them Fili and Kili because they both acted like them. And the funny thing was, they had the same coloured hair, Molly has Fili's hair and Keely has Kili's hair.

"How about dessert?" I suggest. Three pairs of eyes light up and look up at me. "I'll take that as a yes"

I get up out of my seat and go over to the kitchen. Lee follows behind with all the plates and stuff.

"What's for dessert Roo?" he asks, trying to see where it is.

"A surprise, go and put those dishes in the sink and then go back outside" I tell him.

He pouts and whines like a child. "But Rooooooo!"

"No buts Lee. Go, or else no dessert." I say and he quickly dumps the dishes in the sink and walks back to the dinner table.

I take out the apple pie from the oven which I managed to make without Lee knowing. I then took out the ice cream from the freezer and cream from the fridge. I take the ice cream and cream to the dinner table and I feel three pairs of eyes on me as I place it down. I smirk as I walk back into the kitchen. I grab the apple pie and place it in the centre of the table. I laugh at their faces, they are almost close to drooling.

"Dig in guys" I laugh and they straight away grab a slice and to it with cream and ice cream.

"This is AMAZING" Lee beams at me with his mouth full.

"Thanks." I smile and eat more pie.

The night finished off with all four of us trying to see who would eat the last slice of pie. And then we all played Nerf gun wars because why not. It was Lee and I against Molly and Keely. Wolf would run around and chase the bullets flying around the house. We all had so much fun, but then eventually, Molly and Keely had to leave. Lee and I were left to clean up the mess we made.
